The Enochiian School on Equinox is organized in a hierarchy that extends for the Adeptii of the Mishkanii Chayil to the newest novitiate – a Ro’shelek. There are eleven ranks within the order. Three of these are hidden and only occupied by the Adeptii; they are Petrah, Qatsiyn’gabiysh, and Chayil. Proven humans may obtain eight ranks in the Order in accordance with strict rules of demonstrated ability or achievement.
This is the designation for an entry-level student. The literal meaning of the word is “neophyte traveler”. The new student is awarded this designation on the night of Premthoth when they receive their first exposure to LVX from the Adeptii. They are also given their first appellation or name within the order. These names are selected with the assistance of the Master of Ceremonies who is a Helek of Adept rank. The order name – appellation is used by other members of the order and is kept secret from civilians.
A student who has been proven to comprehend the most rudimentary concepts and rules of the Order is awarded the designation Qui’nahelek. The literal meaning of the word is “zealous traveler”, “true believer”, or the Latin “zelator”. The new Qui’nahelekiim are charged with the mission of perfecting their command of the physical body and its emotions.
This rank is awarded to “zealous travelers” who have demonstrated the complete command of their physical bodies and emotions. The literal meaning of the word is “devoted traveler” or the Latin “theoricus”. Adeptii and human mentors begin their instruction of Sha’lemhelekiim in the manipulation and command of elemental energy including electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, and gravity.
This rank is awarded to “devoted travelers” who have demonstrated the complete command of electromagnetic force. The literal meaning of the word is “journeyman traveler” or the Latin equivalent “Practicus”. Asa’helekiim begin their skills development of control over the space-time continuum.
The rank of Talmiyd’helek is awarded to “journeyman travelers” who have demonstrated the ability to consistently fold the space-time continuum along the space axis. The literal meaning of the word is “scholarly traveler”, or “philosopher, or in Latin “philosophus”. Talmiyd’helekiim continue to develop their skills in the manipulation and control of space-time with emphasis on the temporal axis.
This rank is awarded to “scholarly travelers” who have demonstrated their refined ability to manipulate matter, energy and the space-time continuum, and have also distinguished themselves by the simultaneous movement in both space and time. The literal meaning of the word is “adept traveler”, or in Latin “adeptus minor”. Most Yada’helekiim elect to rejoin the outer world or enter into ecclesiastical or corporate service – most particularly as pilots, steersmen, and navigators on slipdrive lightships. The few Yada’helekiim who elect to remain in the Order to seek greater enlightenment are assigned a number of Ro’shelekiim and Qui’nahelekiim to mentor. The Yada’helekiim who elect to remain in the Order face the arduous challenge confronting the universal duality. This travail of a primarily spiritual nature is balanced by the helekiim’s commission to minister to the students of the lower form.
The rank of Yadal’helek is granted to those Yada’helekiim who have successfully guided the lower form helekiim in their charge to higher rank and also survived the mental and physical stress of the confrontation with the universal duality. The literal meaning of the word is “most adept traveler”, or in Latin “adeptus major”. The Yadal’helekiim are assigned Sha’lemhelekiim, Asa’helekiim and Talmiyd’helekiim to counsel in addition to the continued pursuit of understanding the universal duality.
Those exceptional examples of the Yadal’helekiim who have not only passed through the duality and returned, but have also brought back with them a new paradigm unknown to the Adeptii may be awarded the rank of Biyn’adon. The literal meaning of the word is “master traveler”. Successful candidates for the rank of Biyn’adon become responsible for the operation of all aspects of the Enochiian School as well as the guidance and counseling of the three ranks of the upper form.
