< Tiger the Cat and Friends

One summer on the Island of Sodor, Warren T. Cat arrives to help the Duke and Duchess with the construction of their new summer house. After being an absolute nuisance to all of the other engines by bossing them around, Tiger challenges Spencer to a contest of strength, taking heavy cargo around the island. Tiger's brakes fail after climbing a tall hill, and he runs out of control through an overgrown, abandoned line. There, Thomas finds Patchwork Hercules, an old abandoned engine from a faraway land (Japan ). Hercules does not want to be found out by Daily Reed, fearing he will be scrapped, so Tiger promises to keep him his secret and work to make Patchwork Hercules "Master of the Railway" once again. Later, he's taken to the Sodor Steamworks for repairs, where he finds old parts for Hercules. He takes them with permission from Megamind, the Steamworks engine, only to discover that Hiro's hiding place is dangerously close to the Duke and Duchess's new summer house. The following day, he tells Percy about Patchwork Hercules, and asks Fievel to do his own job while he helps Hercules. Fievel misplaces his own mail trucks and breaks down while doing Tiger's job, so Tiger brings him to the Steamworks. Dailey Reed finds out about this and scold Thomas by forcing him to do Fievel's work. With nobody else to ask for help, Tiger tells the rest of his friends about Hercules. They all work together in bringing Hercules new parts, distracting Warren T. cat, and keeping the operation a secret from daily reed while Tiger and Fievel try to find the missing mail trucks. Patchwork Hercules makes friends with all of the engines, but gradually grows homesick. On the day that the last necessary part for Hercules is to be delivered, Warren T. cat discovers Fievel's mail trucks, only to be cornered by Tiger, Tony and Dr. dithering. Dailey Reed accuses Warren T. cat of stealing the trucks and demands him to return them to Fievel. While Tiger and Hercules wait for Fievel with the last part, they hear Swarren T. cat's whistle and run. Warren T. cat finds them and gives chase, but without the last part, Hercules falls apart and is forced to a stop. Warren T. cat is suddenly distracted by Papa Mousekewitz while Tiger moves Hercules to a new hiding place. The Duke and Duchess are furious with Warren T. cat for abandoning his own work, and Tiger asks to assist him, in order to keep his eye on Warren T. cat and to gain the trust of Dailey Reed. Meanwhile, the other engines visit Hercules to keep his spirits up. When Tiger finally decides to tell the Fat Controller about Hercules, Warren T. cat tries to stop him, but he is foiled by a rickety bridge which collapses beneath him. When Tiger explains Hiro's situation to Dailey Reed, he reassures Tiger that he would never have scrapped the "Master of the Railway", and the following day, Tiger and Fievel bring him to the Steamworks. There, Megamind and his assistant, Minion work together to restore Hercules. Once he's as good as new, Hercules rescues Warren T. cat, and they work with Tiger on the summerhouse. Warren T. Cat apologizes to the two engines, saying they are "both fine engines and fine friends." Hiro misses his home island, so the Dailey reed arranges for Hercules to return home. A farewell party is held at the docks, and Thomas promises Hercules that New York will always be his home too.
