The North Stars, based out of Thunder Bay, Ontario, are the reigning champions of both the Tier II Junior "A" Superior International Junior Hockey League and the Dudley Hewitt Cup tournament. The North Stars finished the regular season with a record of 50 wins, 2 losses, and no ties. After walking through the SIJHL playoffs and winning their first Dudley Hewitt, the Stars finished one goal short of the Royal Bank Cup final, falling to the eventual champion -- the Burnaby Express.
