- If Total Drama was made in the 1980's, then it would air on 1984. Its companies would be Columbia Pictures Television, Hanna Barbera Productions, and NBC Productions.
- The animation style would be traditional animation rather than Flash (as the latter method was not used until the late 90s).
- The show would take place in the United States, since it would be created by the aforementioned American companies in bullet 1.

In the US, the first season (Island) would air on NBC as a Saturday Morning Cartoon on September 15, 1984 to Spring 1985. The second (Action) would air on September 14, 1985 through 1986, followed by the third season (World Tour) on September 13, 1986 to 1987. The show would be moved to CBS as the fourth season (ROTI) airs from September 12, 1987 to December 5th, 1987 (with reruns of the said season airing from December 6th to Spring 1988). The fifth season (Consisting of 26 episodes as with the other seaons. The first 13 episodes are All-Stars, the latter 13 are Pahkitew Island.) would air from September 10th, 1988 to Spring 1989. It would eventually rerun on Cartoon Network from February 1998 to September 2002.
In Brazil, the first season to air would be "Revenge of the Island", in 1989-1990 on Rede Globo. The other seasons would wait until 1994, premiering on SBT instead. Reruns would start on Cartoon Network around 2001.
In Hungary, which was a communist country until 1989; the first 4 seasons (Island-Revenge of the Island) would premiere together on M2 in 1995. "All Stars" would start on Cartoon Network in 1999; with a few new voice actors.
