About the book

For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their powerful ancestors. But the warrior code is threatened, and the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger. The sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day. Noble warriors are dying and some deaths are more mysterious then others. In the midst of this tirmoil appears an ordinary house cat named Rusty... who may yet turn out to be the bravest warrior of them all.

What happens in the book

Prologue: At night, when a half-moon shone down on a place called Sunning-Rocks, a battle started. A cat called Tigerclaw pinned down a cat named Oakheart. Then Tigerclaw heard a warning yowl. More RiverClan cats were coming! The RiverClan cats hurled themselves into batttle. Suddely Tigerclaw heard a desperate scream of a ThunderClan she-cat rose above the clamor. A wiry RiverClan tom had pinned her down.
