Irish Drinking Pyramid is an improv game played by the Ship of Fools almost exclusively at the Megashow known as the AOO show.

This game is a variant of Irish Drinking Song conceived of by Andy "Quasar" Ober in a dream.

This is a game for 4 members of the Ship of Fools one of which MUST be Stu "Bottle Opener" Ogle. This necessity comes from Andy's dream.

No one must leave the room.

The emcee will ask the audience for an occupation for the 4 Fools to sing about.

[edit] Arrangement

The three fools who are not Stu will form a Human Pyramid while Stu Will stand to their left, swinging his arm the whole time.

This order goes as follows.

  • The first person is the one on top of the pyramid.
  • The second person is the one on the bottom of the pyramid furthest from Stu.
  • The third person is the one on the bottom of the pyramid closest to Stu.
  • The fourth person is Stu.

On Febuary 24, 2006 Andy "Quasar" Ober's dream was met, when the first game of Irish Drinking Pryamid was played. This game was played by Alex "SOG" Semchuck, Jamie Weigandt, John "Freshman/Tripod" Tubergen, and of course Stu "Bottle Opener" Ogle.

The game was played during a workshop on Irish Drinking Song. This was the very same night that Chris Nablo was referenced as the World's Worst TA.
