Additional stuff to leave behind[]
- 1 "nicer" shirt

- (MHL) I would recommend it. Latin American culture (that I've been in, anyway) puts a fair amount of emphasis on dressing nicely, and they don't wear shorts. Having a decent pair of pants would go a long way towards not looking like an obnoxious tourist. Well, for me, anyway. You'll stick out regardless. :)

- boot waterproofing stuff
- knife / multitool???
