The Kuni are considered among the most fearsome shugenjas in the Empire, because they prefer to study evil rather than eliminate it. This is not to say, however, that they let evil run wild either inside or outside their clanlands. Quite the contrary - the Kuni witch hunters are very efficient and tracking down and eliminating those who practice tainted magic anywhere in Tamekiriku and beyond.
