Laird is the executive secretary of the FIC and serves a variety of roles. His role for the FIC Art of Community Event has not yet been defined. At the very least, he will attend, probably present, and will help ensure that FIC's interests are being met. There are probably expectations about Laird's participation among FIC people who have participated in past FIC Art of Community events.
