Ichigo

Appears in:

Ichigo's Soul Slayer is called Firion, and is in the shape of a sword. He is in love with Rukia, but never admits to her that her loves her. He says it at his death, but Rukia doesn't hear this.

He is killed in Pure Souls III when he finds out that Chad is actually trying to kill Rukia for an unknown reason. Ichigo steps in front of Rukia and takes the killing blow.

Kurosaki

Kurosaki's Soul Slayer is called Palom. It is in the shape of a magical rod. Kurosaki is a master of demon magic, and prefers to use that then use his Soul Slayer.

He is killed in Pure Souls VI during the apocalypse. He is never stated to have been killed, but he is not seen when the remaining characters all group together, and has since been replaced by Yoruichi.

Uryu

Uryu's Soul Slayer is called Cole and is in the shape of a dagger. Uryu is the quiet member of the group, and recieved the least attention by the creators of Pure Souls.

Uryu is killed in Pure Souls VI during the apocalypse. He is never stated to have been killed, but he is not seen when the remaining characters all group together, and has since been replaced by Yumichika.

Ishida

Ishida's Soul Slayer is called Branford. It's form is that of a rod, but it can also change into a stave, dagger or a sword at will. Ishida also knows lots of demon magic.

Ishida is killed in Pure Souls VI trying to prevent the apocalypse. After his old tutor decides to create the demon of Ichigo, Ishida battles him to prevent the apocalypse, but is easily killed.

Rukia

Rukia's Soul Slayer is called Minwu. It's form is that of a stave, but it has also been a mace and a magical rod. Rukia is the main character of Pure Souls, and has made an appearance in every game.

Rukia has not been playable since the X game. Only herself and Yasutora know that she is the Pure Soul. Yasutora used to be Rukia's Guardian until Pure Souls IX.

Yasutora

Yasutora's Soul Slayer is called Josef, which is a claw. Yasutora is Rukia's Guardian, and was the only other person aside from herself who knew she was the Pure Soul.

Yasutora was killed in Pure Souls IX, when Rukia was almost hit by a poisoned arrow at the ending movie. Yasutora stepped in front of her and took the arrow. Rukia has become silented ever since.

Kuchiki

Kuchiki's Soul Slayer is called Maria, and is a bow which can use magical arrows which never run out. Kuchiki has a crush on Ichigo but was never able to confess her love.

Kuchiki was in want to die since the end of Pure Souls III. In Pure Souls V, Kurosaki had to choose someone to become a human bridge, knowing they'd die. Kuchiki asked to be choosen and died.

Chad

Appears in:

  • Pure Souls II (Playable Character)
  • Pure Souls III (Playable Character)

Chad doesn't have a Soul Slayer. Instead, he uses his fists. He pretends to be wanting to help find the Pure Souls, but is instead being hired by a currently unknown company.

Chad was killed by Ichigo in Pure Souls III when he tried to kill Rukia for unknown reasons. Ichigo took the blow and killed Chad by cutting him in half (Ichigo died minutes later).

Sado

Appears in:

  • Pure Souls II (Playable Character)
  • Pure Souls III (Playable Character)
  • Pure Souls IV (Main Character)

Sado's Soul Slayer is called Leon, and is in the shape of a sword which is powered by dark magic. Sado is constantly battling with his dark self for control of his body.

Sado killed himself in Pure Souls IV after his dark self killed Gin, Inoue, Ichimaru, Izuru, Kira and Hanataro. He considered himself a danger to the rest of the group.
