Lost Spoiler Sources
From Scratchpad
The Lost Spoilers Wiki uses many spoiler sources to organize the information, and so that readers will know who exactly the information is coming from. Obviously, information from writers and producers is potentially more accurate than information from a bystander who claims to have seen some filming. The following is a list of known spoiler sources, their track record as far as accurate and incorrect spoilers go, and their occupation.

[edit] Writing staff
- Damon Lindelof: A co-creator of the show, as well as its driving creative force. He frequently collaborates with Carlton Cuse. He usually divulges small bits of information that would have been hard to convey through dialogue in the show. He does the official Lost podcast with Carlton Cuse. He is always correct with the information he reveals (seeing as he is a writer).
- Carlton Cuse: A writer and producer of the show, as well as a main creative force. He frequently collaborates with Damon Lindelof. He usually divulges small bits of information that would have been hard to convey through dialogue in the show. He does the official Lost podcast with Damon Lindelof. He is always correct with the information he reveals (seeing as he is a writer).
[edit] Cast members
- The cast of Lost frequently talks about small plot details of upcoming episodes. They tend to reveal more if the episode features their character's flashbacks. They are almost always correct with the information they reveal.
[edit] Ryan Ozawa
- This Hawaii resident used to do a Lost podcast called The Transmission, and is known for living in Oahu and taking spoilery pictures of sets and characters from upcoming episodes. His existence has been acknowledged by several cast and crew members, but they have all admitted that they can't really do anything about him. He occasionally does a video in which he actually films scene locations. He is always correct with the information he reveals (seeing as he is taking actual pictures).
[edit] Kristin Veitch
- An E! Online correspondant, Kristin frequently talks to cast members as well as Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, and has several inside contacts from whom she gets spoiler information, which she reveals on her section of the E! website. She is usually correct with the information she reveals, although during season 3 her track record fell a bit from numerous false statements, and has revealed less and less about upcoming episodes.
[edit] DarkUFO
- A Lost fan who has a blogger website. Although he is usually a compilation of spoilers and rumors, he often gets his own and reveals them. Often, he reveals episode names and debunks rumors floating on the Internet.
[edit] Secretagentman
- A person, most likely a member of the casting or guest star department. He usually reveals information about upcoming guest stars, and for how long they will appear, hinting heavily that he receives casting sheets. His true identity is unknown. He is almost always correct as far as the occupations of the guest stars go, however, their names are usually wrong, due to the fact that their names are probably changed by the writers department after the character has been cast.
[edit] Michael Ausiello
- He is a writer for TV Guide, and does a column called Ask Ausiello, in which readers send him letters about upcoming TV show episodes. He frequently divulges information about Lost, although much of his "spoilers" are actually spoilers known by the Internet Lost spoiler population for many weeks or even months, but that the general public may not have heard. He occasionally speaks with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. He is almost always correct with the information he reveals, although, as stated above, he usually just reposts already known spoilers.
[edit] WCHS-TV
- WCHS-TV is a West Virginia/Kentucky/Ohio news network owned by ABC. They became famous for revealing shortened descriptions of upcoming Lost episodes several days before ABC themselves. WCHS-TV's descriptions are used on this site as placeholders until ABC releases the official description and guest list.
[edit] Various spoiler sources
- This designition is used to represent several things. It may refer to a spoiler whose original source is unknown, or a spoiler that has been posted by numerous websites. The accuracy of these spoilers is varied, as many different sources reveal them.
