The Lynn Peaks are located in Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, in the District of North Vancouver. There is a well maintained trail to the Lynn Peak viewpoint which, at 921 metres, is short of the actual forested summit. The summit is north of the viewpoint and stands at 1,021 metres.


Lynn Peaks is located in the Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains. It is the divide between the Lynn and Seymour watersheds both of which drain into Burrard Inlet.


Blimp logging was conducted near the top of the Peaks in the early 1970s. Most of the lower slopes were clearcut by the 1920s.
