  • Finn: Hello, Mac. I see Lee's left the milk behind again.
  • Mac: I had to make a special journey within i suppose. Anyone would think i've nothing to do.
  • George Carlin: Grumbled Mac.
  • Finn: Tell you what?
  • George Carlin: Replied Finn.
  • Finn: I'll take the milk, you fetch my Beedrill.
  • George Carlin: Their drivers and stationmaster agreed. Mac had never been to the quarry before. He began ordering the Beedrill about.
  • Mac: Hurry along.
  • George Carlin: He said. The Beedrill grumbled to each other.
  • Beedrill: This is Finn's place! Mac's got no right to poke his funnel in here and push us around.
  • George Carlin: They whispered and pass the word.
  • Beedrill: Pay Mac back! Pay Mac back!
  • Mac: Come along.
  • George Carlin: Puffed Mac.
  • Mac: No nonsense.
  • Beedrill: We'll give him nonsense.
  • George Carlin: Giggled the Beedrill. But they followed so quietly that Mac thought they were under control. Suddenly, they saw a notice ahead: All Trains Stop To Pin Down Brakes.
  • Mac: Peep peep! Brakes, Conductor, please!
  • George Carlin: But before he could check them the Beedrill surged ahead.
  • Beedrill: On! On!
  • George Carlin: They cried.
  • Mac: Help! Help!
  • George Carlin: Whistled Mac. The man on duty at the crossing rushed to warn traffic with his red flag but was too late to switch Mac to the runaway sidings. Frantically trying to grip the rails Mac slid into the yard.
  • Mac: Peep! Peep! Look out!
  • (Crash!)
  • George Carlin: The break van was in smithereens. Mac's driver and fireman had jumped clear but Mac was stranded. Next day, Doc arrived. Finn and Lee had helped to clear the wreckage but Mac remained on his perch of Beedrill.
  • Doc: We must now try.
  • George Carlin: Said Doc.
  • Doc: To run a branch line with Finn and Lee. You have put us in an awkward predicament, Mac.
  • Mac: I am sorry, sir.
  • Doc: You must stay here till we are ready.
  • George Carlin: Continued Doc.
  • Doc: And you really must be more careful with Beedrill.
  • George Carlin: Mac sighed. The Beedrill groaned beneath his feet. He quite understood about awkward predicaments. Doc spoke severely to Lee too.
  • Doc: My characters work hard. I send lazy characters away.
  • George Carlin: Lee was ashamed.
  • Doc: However, Finn says you worked hard after Mac's accident. So you shall have another chance.
  • Lee: Thank you, sir.
  • George Carlin: Said Lee.
  • Lee: I will work hard. Finn says he'll help me.
  • Doc: Excellent. What Finn doesn't know about branch line problems isn't worth knowing. But our Finn's an experienced boy.
  • George Carlin: Next day, Zak came back, and Mac was sent to be mended. Blossom and Bubbles were delighted to see Zak again and he took them to a run at once. All were now friends, and Finn has taunt Lee a great deal. She shooed a cow the other day all by herself. That show's you, doesn't it?
