Madeline: Lost in Paris is an Animated Madeline Musical Comedy Film, produced by DIC Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Children's Television Workshop and Walt Disney Animation Studios and released theatrically on August 3, 1999 by Walt Disney Pictures and Universal Studios around the world. When it premiered at the Radio City Music Hall, it received rave reviews, it was positively received by Critics and audiences alike and became one of the greatest critical and Box Office successes. It became one of the Highest Grossing Films of 1999, grossing over $2.9 Billion at the Box Office in America and $5.10 Billion worldwide, making the second most expensive film ever made with the estimated budget of $10,000 Billion.

Notably, it won all eleven Academy Awards for which it was nominated, making it the third Animated Movie with the Biggest Clean Sweep after An American Tail and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (tying the record for most wins with Sunset Boulevard, Ben-Hur, West Side Story, The Color Purple, Titanic, The Tigger Movie, My Fair Madeline, Clifford's Really Big Movie, Bambi 2 and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King), Don't Eat the Pictures and Sesame Street Presents: Follow that Bird won Five including Best Picture. It also won the Academy Award for Best Picture the third time an Animated film has done so (An American Tail was the first to win an Oscar for Best Picture, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was the second to win for Best Picture, The Tigger Movie would be the fourth to win an Oscar for Best Picture along with Clifford's Really Big Movie as the fifth, My Fair Madeline as the sixth, Bambi 2 as the seventh and Madeline in Tahiti as the eighth) at the 72nd Academy Awards.

In 2009, it was re released in Theaters worldwide celebrating the 10th anniversary at the Civic Theater in Auckland, New Zealand. It also premiered at the Madeline Theater at Glenbrook Vintage Railway in Auckland, winning all 10 New Zealand Film and TV Awards presented by Rene Astle. Upon its release on August 3 1999, the film achieved both critical, audience and commercial success. Since its release, Madeline: Lost in Paris has appeared on the American Film Instintute's award winning 100 years... series and it has ranked 9 lists. It's also the first Movie to have seven members of the Frat Pack and their first Animated Film for the Rat Pack including Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Sammy Davis.
