Madeline and the Case of the Haunted Train Station is the seventeenth Episode of Madeline's Fifth Season.
It was the first Episode written by Steve Tompkins and was directed by David Mirkin.
The Idea was pitched by Matt Groening and Jon Vitti, Steve Tompkins is selected to write the Script. The Idea of using Tony Award winner Alan Cumming as a guest star had been suggested by George Meyer. David Mirkin directed the Episode, claiming the Episode to be his favorite.
Cumming accepted to appear in the Episode as the Ghost of Armin Tamzarian. Robin Williams reprises the role of Chief Clancy Wiggum and Don Rickles reprising his old Role of Detective Marvin Monroe.
