Madeline and the Magic Show is the tenth Episode of Madeline's Ninteenth Season.

The Episode was written by Tony Geiss and Judy Freudberg, based on the Story idea by D.B. Sweeney, William Joyce and John Lasseter and directed by Kent Butterworth. Kirk Douglas guest stars as Harry Houdini.

It won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (for programming Less Than One Hour).

William Joyce, John Lasseter and D.B. Sweeney came up with the Idea of Pepito trying to be a member of the Society of Young Magicians. They all assigned Judy Freudberg and Tony Geiss to write the Episode. The Line "Perhaps you weren't born without Magic Powers Pepito. But you certainly were born stubborn" was actually written by Tony Geiss and came from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. According to D.B. Sweeney, Geiss reused the Quote and added Pepito on it.
