[edit] Sarcoma Centers and Programs
It is highly recommended that patients locate a Sarcoma Centers or Sarcoma program. DSRCT is rare and the best place to find expertise is at a facility that treats a great deal of sarcoma. Pediatric patients are best treated at a Childrens Hospital that has an affiliation with a Sarcoma center. If is not possible to be treated by a sarcoma specialist or at a sarcoma center than it is recommended that the pediatric or adult oncologist consult with a sarcoma specialist familiar with DSRCT.
