Narrator: "The Disney Characters on Disneyland enjoy the summer. Professor Porter arranges lots of concerts. Music can often be heard drifting through the air.
The Disney Characters do enjoy it.
One morning, the Disney characters were very excited. Fifi the Featherdust, the famous singer, was coming to Disneyland."
Sir Ector: "She's a coloratura."
Narrator: "Said Sir Ector importantly."
Mickey: "What's a coloratura?"
Narrator: "Asked Mickey."
Sir Ector: "It means she can sing high notes very, very loud."
Donald: "Professor Porter will choose me to collect her."
Narrator: "Boasted Donald."
Donald: "I'm the brightest and the shiniest."
Sir Ector: "Nonsense! I'm the most important!"
Narrator: "Huffed Sir Ector.
Mickey wanted to feel important, too."
Mickey: "He might choose me!"
Narrator: "He said, hopefully."
Sir Ector: "Well, one thing's for sure,"
Narrator: "Said Sir Ector."
Sir Ector: "He won't choose dirty Piglet."
Piglet: "Don't call me 'Dirty Piglet'!"
Narrator: "He chuffed crossly, and he ran way.
Narrator: "But the next day, Professor Porter didn't choose Sir Ector, and he didn't choose Donald. He chose Mickey."
Professor Porter: "Make sure Mia and Tia are squeaky clean."
Narrator: "He said."
Mickey: "Yes, Sir."
Narrator: "Said Mickey proudly. He felt very important, indeed."
Mickey: "Move aside, Dirty Piglet!"
Narrator: "Chuffed Mickey."
Mickey: "I'm the important Disney Character today."
Piglet: "But I need a shower!"
Narrator: "Wailed Piglet."
Piglet: "My passengers will laugh at me!"
Mickey: "But I have to be squeaky clean!"
Narrator: "Huffed Mickey."
Mickey: "So you'll just have to wait."
Piglet: "I can't wait!"
Narrator: "Grumped Piglet."
Piglet: "I'm a guaranteed connection!"
Narrator: "And he chuffed away.
Soon Mickey was shiny and queaky clean. He felt more important than ever. But as the animators checked on Mia and Tia, they heard a strange sound."
Mickey: "What's that?"
Narrator: "Asked Mickey anxiously.
His animator quickly oiled Mia and Tia's undercarriage."
Mickey's Animator: "That should take care of the bothersome squeak."
Narrator: "He said.
On the way to the harbor, Mickey heard the squeak again."
"He was worried. It didn't sound like his 'Squaky Clean' squeak.
Mickey squeaked noisily into the keyside, where Fifi the Featherdust was waiting."
"Professor Porter held Tia's door open, when..."
Fifi: "A mouse!!!!"
Narrator: "Fifi the Featherdust screamed."
Narrator: "And she screamed and she screamed, and she screamed.
She screamed so loud and so long, that windows broke all over Disneyland."
Sir Ector: "Definitely a coloratura."
Narrator: "Said Sir Ector.
Fifi the Featherdust was cross."
Fifi: "I can't possibly travel in Cars riddled with mice!"
Narrator: "Professor Porter was very embarrassed, and Mickey didn't feel important at all. Just then, Piglet returned from his guaranteed connection."
Fifi: "Look at the little pink Piglet,"
Narrator: "Fifi exclaimed."
Fifi: "So sweet, and dirty, like a proper Disney Character."
Sir Ector: "But he's filthy!"
Narrator: "Sir Ector huffed snootily."
Piglet: "But I clean up nice!"
Narrator: "Smiled Piglet. He was glad somebody noticed.
Fifi boarded Piglet's flower, and Piglet walked away. He felt very proud.
Later, Mickey saw Piglet at the showers."
Mickey: "I'm sorry I called you 'Dirty Piglet'."
Narrator: "Said Mickey."
Mickey: "You go first."
Piglet: "Thanks, Mickey. It feels good to be friends."
Narrator: "Said Piglet."
Piglet: "But where is your mouse?"
Mickey: "You'll see."
Narrator: "Grinned Mickey.
That night was Fifi the Featherdust's concert. Her voice carried across half Disneyland.
Professor Porter had made the Mouse her very own home in the corner of Mickey's house, and Mickey named her 'Fifi'."
