Narrator: "Every day, Professor Porter came to the station to see the Disney characters."
Professor Porter: "Hello."
Narrator: "He always said to Mickey."
Professor Porter: "Remember, don't be impatient, Mickey. You can never be as strong and fast as Sir Ector, but you can be a really useful mouse. Don't let the silly Monkeys tease you."
Narrator: "There were lots of Monkeys, and Mickey worked very hard pushing and pulling them into place. There was also a small trailer, and two strange things his animator called cranes."
Mickey's Animator: "That's the breakdown crane."
Narrator: "He told Mickey."
Mickey's Animator: "The cranes are for lifting heavy things, like Disney characters, and Flowers, and Monkeys."
Narrator: "One day, Mickey was in the yard. Suddenly, he heard a duck screaming."
Donald: "Help! Help!"
Narrator: "A duck came rushing through, much too fast. The duck was Donald, and he was frightened. His webbed feet were on fire."
Donald: "They're pushing me, they're pushing me!"
Narrator: "He panted."
Monkeys: "On, on, on!"
Narrator: "Laughed the Monkeys.
Donald: "Help, help!"
Narrator: "Poor Donald disappeared."
Mickey: "I'd like to teach those Monkeys a lesson."
Narrator: "Said Mickey Mouse.
Soon came the alarm."
Mickey's Animator: "Donald's off the line, the breakdown crane, quickly!"
Narrator: "Mickey grabbed the crane, and off they went.
Mickey worked his hardest."
Mickey: "Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
Narrator: "He puffed. He wasn't pretending to be like Sir Ector; he really meant it."
Mickey: "Bother those Monkeys and their tricks, I hope poor Donald isn't hurt."
Narrator: "Donald's animator was feeling him all over, to see if he was hurt."
Donald's Animator: "Never mind, Donald."
Narrator: "He said."
Donald's Animator: "It wasn't your fault. It was those webbed feet they gave you. We always said they were no good."
Narrator: "Mickey left the breakdown crane alongside. Then he pulled the unhurt monkeys out of the way."
Monkeys: "Oh dear, oh dear!"
Narrator: "They groaned."
Mickey: "Serves you right, serves you right!"
Narrator: "Puffed Mickey.
He was hard at work, puffing backwards and forwards all afternoon."
Mickey: "This will teach you a lesson, this will teach you a lesson!"
Narrator: "He told the Monkeys.
And they answered,"
Monkeys: "Yes it will, yes it will."
Narrator: "They left the broken Monkeys, then with two cranes they put Donald back on the line.
He tried to move, but he couldn't, so Mickey helped him back home.
Professor Porter was waiting anxiously for them."
Professor Porter: "Well, Mickey,"
Narrator: "He said,"
Professor Porter: "I've heard all about it, and I'm very pleased with you. You're a really useful mouse.
Donald shall have some proper feet, and a new coat of feathers, and you shall have a forest all to yourself."
Mickey: "Oh, thank you, sir!"
Narrator: "Said Mickey.
Now Mickey is as happy as can be, he has a forest and two cars called Mia and Tia. He puffs proudly backwards and forwards with them all day.
He is never lonely. Hercules and Baloo stop quite often and tell him the news.
Sir Ector is always in a hurry, but never forgets to whistle to Mickey, and Mickey always whistles in return."
