The Myrmidon is a Paladin-Class destroyer and flagship of the 5th Battle Group of the Resistence Fleet. It the only ship of its class it in the Resistence Fleet, and 1 of only 10 in existence. It is commanded by Commodore Dracmus Esseles.

The MagGun is a relatively new adventure for Merr-Sonn Munitions as they have been mostly into explosive and missile weaponry, with some blaster manufacturing. Known for producing a variety of weapons in a variety of sizes, from personal to capital-class weapons this weapon is a new move for Merr-Sonn looking to capitalize on the turmoil of the galaxy by selling newer weapons. While new to the company the MagGun is an example of Merr-Sonn’s commitment to excellence in the field of weapons. At first the MagGun turret seems cumbersome and slow, in the hands of an experienced crew it is a weapon system to be feared. Between the Electromagnetic and Ionic fields put off by the weapon’s discharge, and its highly devastating munitions, it makes up for its somewhat slow rate of fire.
The rounds themselves are solid metal slugs approximately one meter long by half a meter wide. With the magnetic coils charged fully this heavy weapon can cough out a round that travels roughly 20,000,000 meters per second. With the kind of kinetic energy it imparts to its targets, combined with the other energies it gives off, it is a wonder that private governments have made a clamor to buy it first.
