The North Sea is the second-largest body of water in Vovatra.

[edit] Geography

The North Sea lies north of the continent of Vovatra. The Sun, Moon and Star Peninsulas jut out into it. The area from the east coast of the Moon Peninsula through part of the north coast of the M Plains to the west coast of the Sun Peninsula is commonly referred to as the North Rim.

The sea is cold, and is mostly covered in ice during winter; during summer, it mostly melts, however. The sea sends rain onto the North Rim area, but is not as kind to the drier Star Peninsula.

[edit] Human Geography and Economics

There are few notable towns on the North Sea. Unlike the Vovatra Ocean, the sea is devoid of almost all animal life and has no major mineral resources.
