Narrator: "In the summertime, the stationmasters enjoy a friendly competition for the most beautiful location in Disneyland. The Disney characters love to help too.

One evening, Mickey Mouse came to the house."

Mickey Mouse: "I want Piglet to collect some flower bushes for the Hundred Acre Wood."

Narrator: "He said."

Mickey Mouse: "They're at Neverland."

Piglet: "Neverland?"

Narrator: "Piglet said."

Piglet: "Y-y-yes sir."

Narrator: "He added nervously.

Piglet chuffed anxiously through the thickening fog. He didn't like traveling to Neverland at night. The road passes through a junction next to a spooky old quarry mine.

Piglet hoped the light at the junction would be green. He didn't want to stop next to the mine. But the light was red. He had to stop.

Suddenly he saw something."

(Chimney sinks into the ground)

Piglet: "Bouncing feet!"

Narrator: "Cried Piglet. His driver hadn't seen the old chimney sink into the ground. The light changed. Piglet was so scared, he raced away as fast as he could.

The next day, Piglet was telling the Raccoon Twins about the disappearing chimney."

Raccoon Twin #1: "It's the naughty gnomes!"

Narrator: "Teased Raccoon Twin #1."

Raccoon Twin #2: "Wee fat men with big feet. They make strange things happen."

Narrator: "Said Raccoon Twin #2."

Raccoon Twins #2: "It's legend. They steal your feet and filch your head!"

Narrator: "Piglet didn't want to believe them, but he wasn't sure.

Mickey Mouse was waiting for Piglet at the park."

Mickey Mouse: "I want you to collect some pirates from the abandoned mine."

Narrator: "He said."

Piglet: "Y-y-yes sir."

Narrator: "Piglet answered. But he really didn't want to go there again.

Piglet hoped he wouldn't see anything else disappear. He slipped into the sidings and buffered up to the pirates."

Piglet: "Spooky!"

Narrator: "Stammered Piglet. Suddenly, another building at the old mine sank into the ground."

(Building sinks into the ground)

Piglet's Driver: "What was that?"

Narrator: "Shouted his driver."

Piglet: "Double bouncing feet!"

Narrator: "Shrieked Pipsqueak. He was so scared, he lurched forward and rammed the pirate."

Piglet: "Naughty gnomes!"

Narrator: "Cried Piglet. He raced away faster than before, all the way back to the Hundred Acre Wood.

Piglet's driver told Mickey what they had seen."

Piglet: "It's the naughty gnomes!"

Narrator: "Cried Piglet."

Piglet: "They like to cause trouble. It's legend!"

Mickey Mouse: "Nonsense!"

Narrator: "Said Mickey."

Mickey Mouse: "The old buildings are collapsing at empty mine shafts. That's all."

Piglet: "But I saw the gnomes!"

Narrator: "Protested Piglet."

Mickey Mouse: "Of course you did."

Narrator: "Said Mickey."

Mickey Mouse: "Garden gnomes."

Piglet: "Garden gnomes?"

Mickey Mouse: "To decorate the Hundred Acre Wood."

Narrator: "Mickey Mouse said."

Mickey Mouse: "They're not scary. Garden gnomes bring good luck."

Narrator: "And he ordered Piglet to return immediately and get them.

Piglet was scared, but he knew he had to be responsible. So he carried on."

Piglet: "I'm not scared, I'm not scared."

Narrator: "He waited for something else spooky to happen. But it didn't, and Mickey was right. The garden gnomes weren't scary at all.

His driver and fireman had collected the gnomes, and Piglet took them straight back to the Hundred Acre Wood.

Later that week, the stationmaster thanked Piglet."

Stationmaster: "We wouldn't have won our competition without your garden gnomes, Piglet."

Narrator: "Piglet was very proud."

Piglet: "You were right, sir. Naughty gnomes can be lucky after all."
