Narrator: Ponyville, Equestria has many beautiful sights. There are green fields and hills and many beautiful castles. The ponies of Ponyville love visit them all. One day, Pinkie Pie was dropping visitors at the Crystal Empire. Once upon a time, a queen had lived there.

Pinkie Pie: I'd like to be a queen.

Narrator: Thought Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie: Queens are in charge and tell everybody what to do.

Narrator: Down the hill at the castle, Dr. Hooves and Spike arrived. They were to shunt changelings. Spike had never worked there before.

Spike: Ooh, look at the castle.

Narrator: Peeped Spike excitedly.

Spike: I wonder who used to live there?

Dr. Hooves: A king and queen.

Narrator: Said Dr. Hooves.

Dr. Hooves: They were rule Ponyville and told everyone what to do.

Narrator: And he chuffed towards the changelings. Spike stared at the castle. He was dreaming of kings and queen.

Dr. Hooves: Spike!

Narrator: Called Dr. Hooves.

Dr. Hooves: Come along. We've got a lot to do today.

Pinkie Pie: Waiting for passengers is boring.

Narrator: Huffed Pinkie Pie. Then she remembered that Dr. Hooves and Spike will work near the castle.

Pinkie Pie: It would be much more fun to visit them.

Narrator: She said. Dr. Hooves and Spike were waiting to be coupled up when Pinkie Pie chuffed in. She was very excited about the passengers.

Pinkie Pie: Spike.

Narrator: She whistled.

Pinkie Pie: I've had an idea. Let's play a game.

Narrator: Spike looked pleased.

Pinkie Pie: I'll be queen and I'll tell you what to do today.

Narrator: She said.

Pinkie Pie: It'll be fun.

Narrator: Spike liked the idea of having fun. But Dr. Hooves thought Pinkie Pie's idea was silly.

Dr. Hooves: You have to be clever to be a queen.

Narrator: He said wisely.

Dr. Hooves: And know the right thing to do.

Pinkie Pie: I always know what to do.

Narrator: Huffed Pinkie Pie. Dr. Hooves laughed. That made Pinkie Pie cross.

Pinkie Pie: I show Dr. Hooves that queen Pinkie knows best.

Narrator: She wheeshed. Dr. Hooves was now coupled up to his changelings. Spike thought his look like changelings.

Dr. Hooves: Don't worry.

Narrator: Said Dr. Hooves.

Dr. Hooves: I'll be back soon. If you can't manage the changelings, wait for me and I'll tell you what to do.

Narrator: And Dr. Hooves went slowly away. The changelings started to moan and groan.

Changelings: No you don't! (laughing)

Narrator: They clattered and chattered. Spike knew they were going to be trouble. Pinkie Pie had been watching Spike.

Pinkie Pie: If I want to be queen, I must tell Spike what to do.

Narrator: She thought.

Pinkie Pie: Because I know best.

Narrator: Spike was shunting the changelings as hard as he could, but they wouldn't move. They were being very difficult. Pinkie Pie chuffed to a halt.

Pinkie Pie: Spike!

Narrator: She whistled loudly.

Pinkie Pie: I am the queen today. I will tell you what to do.

Narrator: Spike was worried. Dr. Hooves usually knew best.

Pinkie Pie: Take these changelings along my track.

Narrator: Said Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie: It's faster and they won't complain. Dr. Hooves will be pleased when he sees how quick you are.

Narrator: Spike wanted Dr. Hooves to be pleased.

Spike: I'll do as you say, Queen Pinkie Pie.

Narrator: He tooted. Pinkie Pie was pleased with herself. She watched as Spike blew a big wheesh of steam, Spike puffed, and he chuffed, and the changelings sped off. Pinkie Pie led out a wheesh of steam. She did know best. Suddenly, there was a terrible noise. (Crash!)

Narrator: As the dust cleared, Pinkie Pie saw what had happened. The changelings had run into Rainbow Dash who was waiting on the track. Luckily, no one was hurt, but her load of stone had spilled all over the lines and one of the changelings had come off the rails knocking over a telephone pole.

Rainbow Dash: Spike!

Narrator: Cried Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash: You're not supposed to be on this track!

Narrator: Pinkie Pie was shocked. Then there was another crash. It was Dr. Hooves! His hooves had struck the telephone pole and he was derailed. Pinkie Pie knew this was all her fault. But she didn't know what to do. The telephone line was down, so no one could call for help. Rainbow Dash couldn't move. She was stuck among-st the changelings. And Spike couldn't move either.

Pinkie Pie: I'm sorry, Dr. Hooves.

Narrator: Cried Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie: I can't be a queen. I don't know what to do. I don't know best.

Narrator: Dr. Hooves wheeshed out a big cloud of steam.

Dr. Hooves: I know what to do.

Narrator: He cried.

Dr. Hooves: Pinkie Pie, you must go and get help.

Narrator: Pinkie Pie knew Dr. Hooves was right. She steamed off as fast as she could. Pinkie Pie whooshed to a halt to the station. She told the manager what had happened. Quickly, he phoned for help. Soon, Dr. Hooves had been lifted back up onto the rails. He wasn't hurt, but his cowcatchers would need to be repaired. Pinkie Pie chuffed into the shunting yards. Princess Celestia was very cross.

Princess Celestia: Pinkie Pie!

Narrator: She boomed.

Princess Celestia: You have caused confusion and delay. Luckily, Dr. Hooves knew what to do.

Narrator: She added sternly.

Pinkie Pie: I'm sorry.

Narrator: Pinkie Pie said.

Pinkie Pie: Knowing the right thing to do isn't as easy as I thought.

Narrator: She chuffed.

Pinkie Pie: In future, I'll leave that job to a king or a queen or to Dr. Hooves.
