Transcript

Narrator: "Pipsqueak is a little white filly who can push and pull. He pulls both passengers and freight. At the docks, and at the quarry. Pipsqueak's favorite job is carrying the mail. But sometimes Pipsqueak has so much to do, he ends up running late.

One evening, Pipsqueak arrived late at Ponyville Docks."

Dock Manager: "You're late again, Pipsqueak."

Narrator: "Said the dock manager."

Dock Manager: "I will have to speak to Hoity Toity."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak was upset.

Pipsqueak returned to the library. The other animals were already asleep. Then Pipsqueak heard some voices on the other side of the library. It was Hoity Toity. And he was talking to Pipsqueak's driver. Pipsqueak tried not to listen, but he couldn't help himself."

Hoity Toity: "Pipsqueak has been late too often this week."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "He must go to the scrap yards tomorrow."

Pipsqueak: "Hoity Toity wants to scrap me!"

Narrator: "Gasped Pipsqueak. Pipsqueak worried all night long.

The next morning, the sun shone and the birds sang, but Pipsqueak was too upset to notice."

Pipsqueak: "Hoity Toity wants to scrap me!"

Narrator: "He cried."

Pipsqueak: "And all because I was late."

Spike: "Hoity Toity wouldn't scrap a really useful animal."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "And you, Pipsqueak, are a really useful pony."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak felt better, until he noticed the time."

Pipsqueak: "I'm going to be late!"

Narrator: "He cried. Pipsqueak wheeshed away. If he was on time, maybe Hoity Toity wouldn't send him to the scrap yards.

Pipsqueak's first job was collecting pipes from Ponyville Docks. But when he arrived, Gustave was still unloading."

Pipsqueak: "Hurry up, slow coach!"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "I must be on time!"

Gustave Le Grand: "I'll take as long as I like!"

Narrator: "Said Gustave. And he went slower than ever.

The moment Gustave had finished, Pipsqueak took off. He hadn't waited for the pipes to be tied down.

Pipsqueak rounded a bend. The pipes slipped and fell all over the path, but Pipsqueak puffed on.

Pipsqueak thought he had delivered the pipes, so he chuffed away to his next job.

Pipsqueak was to take some tar wagons to workmen mending the roads."

Pipsqueak's Driver: "Be careful."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Pipsqueak's Driver: "Tar is sticky stuff."

Narrator: "But Pipsqueak wasn't being careful. He was going too fast.

Pipsqueak charged down Big Macintosh's Hill. He didn't see Big Mac and the express buffaloes until it was too late. The trailer past Big Mac, but the tar wagons didn't."

(Crash!)

"Luckily, no one was hurt, but Big Mac was very cross."

Big Macintosh: "Now look what you've done!"

Narrator: "He wheeshed."

Big Macintosh: "What will Hoity Toity say?"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak thought he know."

Pipsqueak: "Oh, no!"

Narrator: "He cried."

Pipsqueak: "I'm sure to be scrapped now!"

Narrator: "And so Pipsqueak decided to run away.

Caramel was clearing away the tar wagons when Hoity Toity arrived with Spike."

Hoity Toity: "Where is Pipsqueak?"

Narrator: "He said."

Hoity Toity: "He has caused confusion and delay!"

Narrator: "Big Mac didn't know."

Big Macintosh: "He just left very quickly, sir."

Spike: "He heard you at the sheds, sir."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "He thought you were sending him to be scrapped."

Hoity Toity: "Hmmm, I think I need a word with Pipsqueak."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You must all help me find him."

Narrator: "And so everyone looked for Pipsqueak. They searched high, and they searched low. They looked to and fro, but they couldn't see Pipsqueak anywhere."

Pipsqueak: "What's to become of me?"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak whispered, but there was no one around to hear. Pipsqueak looked very small and felt very lonely.

Spike and Hoity Toity were looking for Pipsqueak on Spike's route. Spike suddenly had an idea."

Spike: "I think I know where Pipsqueak is, sir."

Narrator: "And he puffed back to the library as fast as he could.

The sheds were very quiet as Spike rolled inside."

Hoity Toity: "Pipsqueak?"

Narrator: "Called Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Are you there?"

Pipsqueak: "Please don't scrap me, sir."

Narrator: "He said."

Pipsqueak: "I didn't mean to be late or cause trouble."

Hoity Toity: "Scrap you?"

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Why, the very thought of it!"

Narrator: "And Hoity Toity told Pipsqueak what he had really said."

Hoity Toity: "I told your driver you had been working too hard, and that was why you were late. I had decided that after taking some scrap to the smelters, you were to carry the mail, all week!"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak was as happy as he had ever been."

Pipsqueak: "Do you really mean it, sir?"

Narrator: "Puffed Pipsqueak proudly."

Pipsqueak: "The mail, for a whole week! Thank you, sir!"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak couldn't stop himself whistling for joy. Spike whistled too. It was good to have his friend back.

So Pipsqueak carried the mail all week. He wasn't late and he didn't make a mistake, not one. And Pipsqueak decided never to listen to silly stories ever again. Especially not ones made up by himself."
