Narrator: "Ponyville, Equestria is a very special place. It has hills, and valleys, fields and forests. All of Hoity Toity's animals love Ponyville.

One day, Hoity Toity came to Golden Oak Library. He had splendid news."

Hoity Toity: "The mayor has invited a famous artist to paint a picture called The Spirit of Ponyville. It will be put on show at the town hall."

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Pipsqueak, you must collect the artist at Ponyville Docks and show him all the most beautiful places."

Pipsqueak: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Said Pipsqueak. Spike was excited for his friend, but Pipsqueak was worried."

Pipsqueak: "What's the Spirit of Ponyville?"

Narrator: "Asked Pipsqueak. Spike thought."

Spike: "Everything that is special about the town."

Narrator: "He said."

Spike: "No one knows the town better than you."

Narrator: "He puffed."

Spike: "And no one loves it more than you. You're just the pony for the job."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak felt better. He would show the famous artist somewhere very special. Somewhere that was The Spirit of Ponyville.

When Percy arrived at Ponyville Docks, the docks were very crowded. Everyone wanted to see the famous artist. He had paper and an easel, he had pots of paints and bags of brushes. A long smock to keep his clothes, clean and on his head, he wear a big black beret. Pipsqueak thought he looked very important. The famous artist walked towards Pipsqueak."

Famous Artist: "I want to see The Spirit of Ponyville."

Narrator: "He said."

Famous Artist: "Please show me somewhere special."

Pipsqueak: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Puffed Pipsqueak happily. And he steamed out of the docks as fast as he could go.

Pipsqueak puffed across the town."

Pipsqueak: "Somewhere special, somewhere special."

Narrator: "He chuffed. At last, Pipsqueak came to Ponyville Valley. It was very beautiful."

Pipsqueak: "There you are, sir!"

Narrator: "Cried Pipsqueak happily."

Pipsqueak: "The Spirit of Ponyville!"

Narrator: "The famous artist had a very long look."

Famous Artist: "Too green!"

Narrator: "He said."

Famous Artist: "I want you to show me somewhere special."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak was surprised. He thought Ponyville Valley was very special. But the artist was very famous and very important."

Pipsqueak: "Maybe Ponyville Valley isn't special after all."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak set off again. He would show the famous artist somewhere else special.

Pipsqueak came to Ponyville Beach. The sun was shining, children were playing in the sand. There was even a donkey giving rides. Pipsqueak was sure the famous artist would want to paint it."

Pipsqueak: "There we are, sir!"

Narrator: "He puffed."

Pipsqueak: "All the children love Ponyville Beach."

Narrator: "The famous artist looked at Ponyville Beach. He held his paintbrush and palette."

Famous Artist: "Hmm, the sand is too yellow."

Narrator: "He sighed."

Famous Artist: "I want you to show me somewhere special."

Narrator: "This upset Pipsqueak. He thought Ponyville Beach was the most cheerful place on the island. He wanted to tell the famous artist he was wrong. But all he said was..."

Pipsqueak: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "And set off sadly again.

Pipsqueak took the artist to the viaduct. But the famous artist said,"

Famous Artist: "Too tall."

Narrator: "Then, Pipsqueak took him to the windmill."

Famous Artist: "Too round."

Narrator: "Said the famous artist.

Finally, Pipsqueak took the famous artist to the town hall. There were ponies and buffaloes, porters and packages, and loudest of all, the happy noise of passengers coming aboard. Pipsqueak thought it was the most wonderful sight of all."

Pipsqueak: "Here, sir."

Narrator: "Said Pipsqueak proudly."

Pipsqueak: "Isn't this The Spirit of Ponyville?"

Famous Artist: "Too busy."

Narrator: "The famous artist sighed."

Famous Artist: "Why, I do believe there is nothing special to paint in this town at all."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak was so cross his body bubbled, and he went as brown as Cranky Doodle Donkey. Big Mac thought the artist was very rude."

Pipsqueak: "Everywhere in Ponyville is special!"

Narrator: "Peeped Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "And so are the people and the children and the animals! We are all special!"

Narrator: "Then he blew hard. His air blew the artist's hat into the air."

Famous Artist: "I want to see Hoity Toity right away!"

Narrator: "The famous artist cried. Pipsqueak was sure he was in trouble now. Pipsqueak waited and worried.

Hoity Toity came to the town hall at once."

Famous Artist: "I have found the perfect thing to paint."

Narrator: "Cried the famous artist."

Hoity Toity: "What is it?"

Narrator: "Asked Hoity Toity."

Famous Artist: "I am going to paint Pipsqueak!"

Pipsqueak: "Bust my hooves!"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak gasped."

Pipsqueak: "You want to paint me!?"

Famous Artist: "Pipsqueak is honest, hard working and helpful. And he is not afraid to speak his mind. He is surely the Spirit of Ponyville."

Narrator: "Said the famous artist. And Hoity Toity agreed. And so the famous artist painted Pipsqueak.

And on the night the painting was to be shown for the first time, all the animals were there. When the mayor pulled the cord to show his picture, Pipsqueak gasped."

Spike: "I told you were the best pony for the job."

Narrator: "Spike smiled. And Pipsqueak smiled too. He was very proud to be the Spirit of Ponyville."
