The popular ballot held November 6, 2244 CE that ratified the United Nations Constitution. This was the first global election in which the entire population of Earth could participate. The Constitution was ratified (yes – 68%; no – 32%) with a voter turnout greater than expected (52%). Political scientists attributed the turnout – twice that of most typical elections – to the historic nature of the event and the subject of the ballot.
