Transcript[]

Narrator: "Pongo and Piglet are good friends, but sometimes Piglet teases Pongo about being frightened and he doesn't like that at all.

One evening he was dozing happily, but Piglet wanted to talk."

Piglet: "Wake up, Pongo. Are you dreaming about the time you thought I was a ghost?"

Pongo: "Certainly not. Anyway I was only pretending to be scared. I knew it was you really."

Narrator: "Piglet went on teasing him."

Piglet: "I hope the guard leaves the light on for you tonight."

Pongo: "Why?"

Narrator: "Asked Pongo"

Pongo: "I quite like the dark."

Piglet: "Oh really?"

Narrator: "Exclaimed Piglet."

Piglet: "I am surprised. I always thought you were afraid of the dark. I wonder why?"

Narrator: "Pongo decided to say nothing and went to sleep instead.

Next day, Mickey Mouse came to see him."

Mickey Mouse: "I would like you to go to the harbour tonight. You have to collect something rather unusual."

Pongo: "What sort of something?"

Narrator: "Asked Pongo."

Mickey Mouse: "Wait and see."

Narrator: "Replied Mickey.

Meanwhile, Piglet was moving some pirates into a siding. Baloo arrived with his monkeys. The signalman cleared the path and Piglet waited on the siding until Baloo had steamed by.

Then, there was trouble."

Signalman: "The path is blocked."

Narrator: "Called the signalman."

Signalman: "I can't clear it for Piglet. The workmen will have to clear it in the morning. It's too late now."

Piglet's Driver: "Hmmm."

Narrator: "Said Piglet's driver."

Piglet's Driver: "I'm sorry, Piglet. But you will have to stay here for the night."

Piglet: "Where are you going?"

Narrator: "Asked Piglet."

Piglet's Fireman: "Home for tea."

Narrator: "Replied the fireman. Piglet was speechless.

He watched as the other Disney characters went home.

Nighttime came and Piglet began to feel very lonely."

Piglet: "Oh dear."

Narrator: "He murmured."

Piglet: "It's very dark.

OH! OH! What's that?!"

Narrator: "It was only an owl, but Piglet didn't realize."

Piglet: "Oh, I wish Pongo were here too."

Narrator: "He sighed.

Pongo was waiting for his mysterious load at the harbour. Suddenly, there is was."

Pongo: "Paw prints and collar!"

Narrator: "Cried Pongo."

Pongo: "It's a dragon!"

Pongo's Driver: "Don't worry."

Narrator: "Laughed his driver."

Pongo's Driver: "This dragon is really friendly. He's for the carnival tomorrow."

Narrator: "Workmen lifted the dragon onto Pongo's wagon and put lights all around it for protection. Then, Pongo set off into the misty night.

Piglet was asleep on his siding and had no idea that Pongo was approaching him.

Piglet woke up with a start."

Piglet: "Help!"

Narrator: "Cried Piglet."

Piglet: "I'm not going to open my eyes until my driver comes."

Narrator: "Next morning the path was cleared and Piglet puffed back to the junction. Sir Ector was just about to leave with his flowers."

Piglet: "You'll never guess what I saw last night."

Narrator: "Sir Ector was in no mood for puzzles."

Sir Ector: "I'm a busy man. I don't have time for your games."

Piglet: "I've seen a huge dragon. It was covered in lights."

Narrator: "Sir Ector snorted."

Sir Ector: "You've been in the sun too long. Your head has cracked."

Narrator: "When the other Disney characters heard the news, they laughed too."

Donald Duck: "Look out, Piglet!"

Narrator: "Chuckled Donald."

Donald Duck: "Or the dragon may gobble you up!"

Piglet: "No one believes me."

Narrator: "Huffed Piglet."

Piglet: "Maybe I did imagine the dragon after all."

Narrator: "But Piglet soon found out that he hadn't."

Piglet: "Help! Save me!"

Narrator: "Cried Piglet."

Pongo: "It's alright."

Narrator: "Whistled Pongo. And he explained about the carnival."

Pongo: "By the way, how was your night out?"

Narrator: "Piglet decided to tell Pongo the truth."

Pongo: "Well, Piglet."

Narrator: "Said Pongo."

Pongo: "Maybe we do get scared sometimes, but if we're not afraid to tell each other, then that means we're quite brave too."
