This section of the Style Guide contains ready-to-use translations of some set expressions, clichés, proper nouns and adjectives.

Please note that this section is a structural element of the Style Guide and therefore is obligatory for each translator working or volunteering for the project.

If the word or phrase is included into the Lexicon, then it shall be used while translating for Ukrayinska Pravda. If you consider some spelling to be incorrect, please use the discussion page. Please do not change anything without the prior discussion.

Avoid: people's deputy, popular deputy although this is possible variant. We do not use deputy for народний депутат to avoid confusion with заступник. However, when citing the law we do use "people's deputy" as it is an official legalized translation.
