The Protectors of Earth series is a series of fantasy novels written by E. Nature Townsend.

The first book of the fantasy series, titled Purpose, introduces a number of characters, the main character being a young man named Justin Sanders. He and the other characters start out being chased by a very powerful government organization called the M.U.M.. The reason behind this isn't explained fully at first, but it's hinted that Justin and his friends, Samus and Violet know something classified that the organization was hiding.
Justin and his friends meet up with Jasmine Pardue as a New York pier. Jasmine has been helping Justin and his friends hide from the M.U.M. ever since her foster mother died in a car crash caused by them. With her are her friends Paff Lilith, Yvon Germaine, Sarah Drake and Paff's brother Geoffrey Lilith.
