Whiff: What are you doing today?

Gordon: I'm going to set a record today. I'm just waiting for Sir Topham Hatt.

Whiff: Swallow, and repeat?

Sir Topham Hatt: All, right Gordon, let's go.

Gordon: Oh, I got it now.

Sir Topham Hatt: Remember, this is for those new coaches. You're the fastest. If you can do this, the NWR gets new coaches.

Gordon: Right you are, let's go.

Diesel; Coaches, huh? Let's see if he can making.

Narrator: He oiled away.

Diesel: He'll go to Wellsworth, Maron, to Crovan's Gate, to Vicarstown, and back.

Diesel: Signalman! When the fast, blue engine comes to this signalbox, change the points to the old branchline. Sir Topham's orders!

Signalman: Okay.

Narrator: He did exactly what Diesel said.

Gordon: {after being diverted} What's this!

Sir Topham Hatt: Stop, Gordon!!!

Narrator: Sir Topham Hatt marched to the signalbox.

Sir Topham Hatt: Signalman! What's the meaning of this!

Signalman: A big black diesel said you wanted me to do this!

Sir Topham Hatt: Diesel! I should've known.

Narrator: He got back on Gordon and they went to Knapford.

Sir Topham Hatt: Diesel! You are supposed to be working at the smelters. Three more months for you!
