Transcript

Narrator: "It was summertime in Ponyville. All the animals were very busy. They carried freight and passengers up and down the paths.

Hoity Toity came to see Rarity."

Hoity Toity: "I am opening some new routes for the summer."

Narrator: "He announced."

Hoity Toity: "Rarity, you will take the Flour Mill Special."

Rarity: "Thank you, sir."

Narrator: "Said Rarity. She was pleased.

Rarity stopped to drink water on the way to the flour mill. But Cranky was already there."

Rarity: "Hoity Toity has given me the Flour Mill Special."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You're lucky."

Narrator: "Cranky huffed."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I have to do the Black Loch Run."

Rarity: "Why don't you like going to Black Loch?"

Narrator: "Asked Rarity."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "There are boulders all over the path."

Narrator: "He moaned."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "They bash your hooves and scratch your body. And there's the Black Loch Monster!"

Rarity: "What's the Black Loch Monster?"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Nobody knows."

Narrator: "Said Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Black figures move in the water and then they disappear."

Rarity: "Ooohhhhh!"

Narrator: "And Cranky puffed away. Rarity was pleased she didn't have to go to Black Loch.

At the flour mill, the flour had been given to changelings. Rarity was hooked up. Then she puffed across the countryside to the bakery.

But the changelings saw a chance for mischief."

Changelings: "Hold back, hold back!"

Narrator: "They screeched. Rarity pulled as hard as she could, but the changelings made her go very slowly.

Rarity was late delivering the flour, so there would be no fresh bread that day. Hoity Toity was cross."

Hoity Toity: "This means I would have any toast or muffins for breakfast. If you are late again, you will have to do the Black Loch Run instead of Cranky."

Narrator: "Rarity didn't want to have her buffers based by boulders. And she didn't want to see the Black Loch Monster."

Rarity: "I must get the flour to the bakery on time."

Narrator: "Rarity puffed.

The next morning, the changelings tricked her again."

Changelings: "Off we go, off we go!"

Narrator: "They chuckled. But they weren't hooked up properly."

Changelings: "Mustn't be late, mustn't be late."

Narrator: "So Rarity puffed quickly away. But only half the changelings went with her.

Rarity arrived at the bakery."

Stationmaster: "But you've only brought half the flour!"

Narrator: "The stationmaster cried. So Rarity had to go back for the rest of the changelings."

Rarity: "Oh no!"

Narrator: "Rarity cried."

Rarity: "I don't want to get the Black Loch Run."

Narrator: "When Rarity arrived at the mill, the changelings were more troublesome than ever."

Changelings: "Rarity the late unicorn, Rarity the late unicorn!"

Narrator: "They sang. This made Rarity very cross, and she biffed them, very hard."

Changelings: "Oh no!"

Narrator: "They cried. And they splashed into the duck pond."

(Crash!)

"Rarity was covered in a floury mess.

That evening, Hoity Toity came to see Rarity."

Hoity Toity: "Rarity, you have caused confusion and delay!"

Narrator: "Hoity Toity said."

Hoity Toity: "Now, you are to take over the Black Loch Run."

Narrator: "Rarity was very unhappy."

Spike: "Wait until you've tried it."

Narrator: "Spike puffed."

Spike: "The Black Loch Run might be nice."

Rarity: "I don't think so."

Narrator: "Rarity moaned."

Rarity: "Bashed buffers and a big monster. It sounds miserable to me."

Narrator: "The next morning, Rarity puffed sadly to the station. Lots of excited children and vacationers climbed on board."

Rarity: "They're all looking forward to their vacation."

Narrator: "She thought."

Rarity: "I mustn't let them down."

Narrator: "Soon, Rarity was walking up hills and through valleys."

Rarity: "I bet it won't last."

Narrator: "She said to herself.

Rarity reached the murky waters of Black Loch."

Rarity: "Ohhh. That's where the monster's supposed to be."

Narrator: "She puffed nervously. Then there was trouble. Rocks fell and blocked the line."

Rarity: "Oh no!"

Narrator: "Rarity had to wait for help."

Rarity: "I knew I wouldn't like this route!"

Narrator: "She huffed.

Suddenly, she saw something dark and mysterious moving in the water."

Rarity: "And now the monster's coming!"

Narrator: "Rarity gasped.

Rarity was scared. Her body quivered and her horn rattled. She wanted to race away."

Rarity: "I never want to see Black Loch again!"

Narrator: "She cried. But Rarity thought of the children with the rabbit behind her. She was determined to get them to their vacation, whatever it took.

At last, the water settled, and Rarity saw what the monster really was."

Rarity: "It's a family of seals!"

Narrator: "Rarity was delighted. The children were delighted, too.

Soon, the path was cleared. Rarity walked on through the countryside. The children would reach their vacation on time.

That evening, Spike and Rarity both stopped to watch the seals."

Rarity: "You were right."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Rarity: "Black Loch is a nice route after all."
