Raynosia

Raynosia is a far off land in the southern Pacific ocean, kept hidden by the M.U.M.. Although it is not actually a part of the Kingdom of Anerand, the King or Queen of Anerand usually has dominion over it.
[edit] Geography
Raynosia has a near-uninhabitable climate and topography. It is dry nearly year-round, making the air all over the mainland arid and dusty. It's only wet season is during the early summer, when precipitation usually falls as acidic rain, sometimes even as ashen snow. Violent electrical storms plague the entire land year-round. The main topographical feature of the mainland are the Ash Mountains; tall, jagged peaks of black rock that stretch from the north to the south-west. All the forests and plant life of Raynosia were desecrated long ago, leaving nearly all of the land empty and void of life. The only inhabited areas of Raynosia are Cerson Island and Nova Island, the latter of which is known for it's active volcano, Mount Oryss. Other islands include Frostfall Island and White Island.

Raynosia is primarily uninhabited, which is why it isn't divided into political provinces. However, Raynosians tend to divide the mainland into simply West Raynosia and East Raynosia, the dividing line being the Ash Mountains. Cerson Island, along with Nova Island and White Island, is generally just considered the Main province. Frostfall Island is not included because it is completely uninhabited.

The capital city of Raynosia is Cerson City, as it is the largest and most populous city in Raynosia. However, other large cities include Winterview, Bracas, and Port Fairsway.
