Renee "Kamikaze" Leyburn joined the Ship of Fools on September 29, 2006. The nickname "Kamikaze" came about during a warmup game of Bippity Bippity Bop. The origin of the name comes from her complete inability to accurately depict a wing portion of the kamikaze command. John "Cowboy" Clawson has also given Renee the nickname "NOOB" as part of her current mandatory hazing*. This will remain at least until more Fools are inducted.
- The Ship of Fools do not condone actual hazing. Forcing pledges to binge drink and do dangerous things isn't really funny. Forcing them to accept who they are and being comfortable and confident on stage, however, is an important part of becoming an improvisationalist.

Renee is known for frequently recording practice sessions and shows of the Ship of Fools. Known to feel most at home skulking in the shadows. (expand)

Renee's most recent aquisitions: 2 Tequila Sunrise Guppies (Warren and Geoffrey) and a diminutive catfish (Jacob). She also has a sorrel American Quarter Horse gelding named Tiger, a parakeet named Binker (currently in the care of her favorite aunt), a farrier, and knows about cat pee glowing under a blacklight. She came about most of her general animal knowledge by accident and extended exposure. Rather like lead or arsenic poisoning. The toxin just keeps building up in your system until you die.
Further proof of her bizarre nature can be found in a confidential inter-Fool email, the text of which asked:
Ok fellas, does anyone want to/is able to meet/get together/hang out/have wild kinky passionate dark animalistic sex until we can't move on Friday? Or the weekend I suppose.

Renee is an Aeronautical Engineer at Purdue University (along with Ryan "T-Rex" Garwood). She is employed at the Purdue Veterinary Medical Library and hails from Hibernia, IN. One of Renee's greatest joys in life is causing scenes in public places with a trusted companion and making complete strangers laugh.
She also seems to have a strange infatuation with SOG's girlfriend, Kelli. Yeah. But who doesn't?
