Robert Lopez (born February 23, 1975) is an American Composer, Songwriter and Lyricist of Musicals best known for co-writing for the Broadway Musical Avenue Q, Madeline: Lost in Paris and for co-creating the Musical The Book of Mormon, recieving Tony Awards for both Works.

He also writes Music and Songs for Television and Film including Madeline, The Madcap Adventures of Terry the Blubber and Sunday Morning Live as well as The Dangers of Mynn and Jynn Wason and Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. He is now one of the Entertainers who won four Major Entertainment Awards with Jeff Marx.
