Sally Seaplane is a TUGS parody of the Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends episode "Mavis".
Sally Seaplane enjoys delivering cargo for O.J. and began putting it in different places. O.J. finds it hard and tells her that cargo must be where you want it when you want it. Sally ignores him and leaves. Eventually, O.J. becomes aggravated and says she should just deliver the cargo herself. Sally becomes pleased, as taking cargo makes her feel important.
Later, Zorran steams up to Sally, who complains about how O.J. acts. Zorran then tells her that whatever a harbor tug can do a seaplane can do better. Sally takes Zorran's words to heart, not knowing that he knew nothing about cargo.
In the canal where O.J. makes his deliveries, there is a curve that is usually hard to get through. O.J. found a simple solution, which is to warn other boats he is coming and uses the weight of his barge to travel through. Not only is it the easiest way, but it is also the safest way. He told Sally about it, but she ignored him and said she can manage fine.
When Sally was delivering some cargo, she was also guiding The Shrimpers, who were tired of being pushed around by Sally. They then planned to make her day miserable. When Sally arrived at the curve, she stopped in the wrong position, letting The Shrimpers hold her in place. She tried to move, but she couldn't budge, making the others very impatient.
O.J. heard the news and at first didn't want to help, but he then thought about how Sally isn't supposed to go through the canal floating and knew how mad her owner would be if he found out. O.J. then decided that it would be best to help Sally after all.
When he arrived, he got a line onto Sally. It was hard to pull her, and smoke rapidly came out of his stack. Soon, he got her back and wished her goodbye. Embarrassed, Sally took the cargo back and went to her hangar as quickly as she could.
