Transcript[]

Narrator: Sergeant Tibbs is a brown cat who works on the Harwick Branch Line on the Disneyland. He usually handles all the goods work while Cruella De Vil handles all the passenger runs. One cool summer night, Tibbs was getting ready for a night goods run when Mickey Mouse came to see him.

Mickey Mouse: Young Tibbs, Cruella had to go to the hospital since she's not feeling well. I need you to do a job for her tomorrow.

Sergeant Tibbs: What would that be, Sir?

Mickey Mouse: Well, do you know who Pacha is?

Sergeant Tibbs: Isn't he the controller of Misty Island?

Mickey Mouse: Exactly. He and his family are going to come here tomorrow for one of Kronk's railboat tours. You have to pick them up from Knapford and take them to the harbor.

Sergeant Tibbs: Yes, sir. That shouldn't be a bother at all. I have to go now, and deliver my goods train. Good night, Sir.

Mickey Mouse: Good night, Tibbs.

Narrator: Tibbs was sure that he could take Pacha and his family up to Arlesburgh Harbor and continue with his goods work without any trouble. But later that night, Tibbs had to stop.

Tibbs: What's going on?

Signalman: There's signal problems all along the line, Tibbs. We can't let you go through until it's fixed. It's dangerous to run without signals.

Tibbs: How long will it take?

Signalman: It could be a while, but I don't know for sure.

Narrator: Tibbs was upset that he was going to late, but he knew that there was nothing he could do about. All he could do was wait for the signals to be fixed. After a couple of hours, the signals were fixed, and it was safe for Tibbs to go. It wasn't until morning when Tibbs finally finished his run. He was very tired, and he was having trouble remembering his jobs for the day.

Sergeant Tibbs: (Yawns) I take Pacha's family from Arlesburgh to Knapford. No, wait. It's the other way around, isn't it?

Narrator: Tibbs picked up a coach from a siding, and hurried over to the station. Pacha and his family were there waiting.

Sergeant Tibbs: Hello. My name's Sergeant Tibbs. Sorry if I'm late.

Pacha: Oh no, young Tibbs. You're not late at all. You're right on time. My name's Pacha. I'm the controller of Misty Island. This is my wife, and these are my children, Charlie, Carrie and Paul.

Charlie, Carrie and Paul: Hello.

Sergeant Tibbs: Nice to meet you all. All aboard for... (Yawns) Arlesburgh West.

Pacha: Are you feeling alright, Mr. Tibbs. You seem tired.

Sergeant Tibbs: Maybe a little, but that doesn't mean I can't take you to the harbor. Climb on board.

Narrator: So Pacha and his family climb on board Tibbs' coach, and Tibbs puffed off to his branch line. Tibbs' next job was to pick up some ballast from the Arlesdale Railway, but he was so tired that he was very confused about his jobs.

Sergeant Tibbs: (Yawns) I have to take the Jones family to the Arlesdale Railway, and then pick up ballast from the harbor.

Narrator: So Tibbs stopped near the Arlesdale Railway first.

Sergeant Tibbs: This is your stop.

Narrator: Pacha and his family got off Tibbs' train, but they were puzzled. This didn't seem like a harbor at all. Tibbs puffed away. He picked up some trucks from a siding, and hurried up to the harbor. He still felt very tired.

Sergeant Tibbs: Hello. I'm here to pick up some ballast.

Kronk: But there's no ballast here at the harbor.

Sergeant Tibbs: Oh. I see that now.

Kronk: Mr. Mickey Mouse said that you were going to bring Pacha's family up here for one of my tours.

Sergeant Tibbs: Oh, right. (Gasps) Fizzling fireboxes! I dropped them off at the wrong place! I must hurry back to the Arlesdale Railway. Goodbye, Kronk.

Narrator: Sergeant Tibbs raced back to the Arlesdale Railway as fast as he could. But when he arrived, Pacha and his family were nowhere to be seen.

Dizzy: They're gone, Mr. Tibbs. They boarded Lucky's train, and he puffed out of the station.

Sergeant Tibbs: Oh no! I'm sure to be in trouble now.

Narrator: Sergeant Tibbs picked up the ballast, and puffed sadly away. For the rest of the morning, Sergeant Tibbs kept worrying about what Pacha would say the next time he saw him. Later, Tibbs puffed back to the Arlesdale Railway, just as Dizzy was pulling into the station.

Dizzy: Last stop!

Narrator: Sure enough, Pacha and his family were getting off the train and walking towards Mr. Tibbs.

Sergeant Tibbs: I'm so sorry, Sir. You must be very cross with me. You and your family wanted to go to the harbor for one of Kronk's railboat tour, but I took you here by mistake. I was up all night due to signal problems that made me late with my night goods run, and I guess my lack of sleep guessed me to get my jobs for today mixed up.

Pacha: It's alright, Tibbs. I'm not cross at all.

Sergeant Tibbs: You're not?

Pacha: No. We had a wonderful morning traveling along the Arlesdale Railway.

Chicha: We don't usually see engines that small over on Misty Island.

Charlie: It was fun.

Carrie: Thank you, Ryan.

Paul: We had a great morning.

Sergeant Tibbs: Oh, I'm so happy to hear that.

Pacha: And we can always come back another day for one of those railboat tours. Anyway, can you take us back to Knapford, please?

Sergeant Tibbs: Of course, Sir.

Narrator: So Tibbs took Pacha and his family back to Knapford Station, where Rex was waiting to take them home to Misty Island.

Pacha: Thanks again, Sergeant Tibbs. You're a really useful cat.

(Guard blows his whistle, and Rex leaves Knapford)

Cruella De Vil: Hello, Sergeant Tibbs. How has your day been so far?

Sergeant Tibbs: Well, it's been quite a morning.

Cruella De Vil: What happened?

Sergeant Tibbs: Well, let me tell you all about it.
