Familiarity System

As you get to know other players, you can adjust your familiarity with them. That is, you can lable them as "Friend" or "Enemy" and set up other options connected to these designations. comment - the settings and options listed here are only ideas of what MIGHT be added. They may not be possible or may not be added for other reasons. These are just off the top of my head. - Nachtmusique

comment - Please add your ideas and thoughts to this... - Nacht

Strangers

All players you encounter are "Strangers" until you classify them as Friend or Enemy. You have stranger settings which will be the same for all "Strangers." comment - There currently are not very many options for strangers...please help me think of more. - Nacht

  • Auto-Hide - Turning this on will cause your character to automatically attempt to hide (using the hiding skill, spell, potion, etc...) as soon as a "Stranger" comes into view.

Friend

Friend settings are unique to each individual friend.

  • Auto-Accept Parties - Automatically accept invitations from this player to join a party
  • Auto-Invite Parties - Automatically invites this player to join your party as soon as they come into view. Comment - activating both of these 2 options will make the players automatically party up whenever they are near eachother.
  • Loot Me - This option allows this player to loot your corpse should you die.
  • No Friendly Fire - If this option is activated, attempts to attack this friend will fail and you will recieve a message saying something to the affect of "You almost attacked <friend's name>, but stopped at the last minute" OR this option could ask you before the attack if you are sure you wish to fight with this person.
  • Auto-Sparring - If this option in checked, you will automatically stop fighting when your friend is low on life and resume when they have been healed.
  • Loot My Kills - Normally, when you kill something you EARN the right to loot it. No one else can loot it until it begins to decay. With this option enabled, your friend will be able to loot the corpses of things you kill.

Enemy

Enemy setings are unique to each individual enemy.

  • Auto-Hide - Turning this on will cause your character to automatically attempt to hide (using the hiding skill, spell, potion, etc...) as soon as a "Stranger" comes into view.
  • Auto War Mode - This option will switch you to war mode as soon as the enemy comes into view.
  • Auto Equip - This option will automatically re-equip a saved Armor and Weapon combination when the enemy comes by.
  • Save Equip - This will save the armor and weapon combination you are currently wearing
  • Auto Recal - This option will automatically recal to the location on a saved marked rune.
  • Save Recal Rune - This will allow you to target a rune to save for the Auto Recal option
  • Auto Shapeshift - This allows you to automatically cast a shapeshift spell when your enemy comes near. You may choose any form you have learned to shift to from any school of magic, but if you use the blue "Shapeshift" spell, you will have to save an Image Rune.
  • Save Image Rune - This will allow you to target a rune to save for the Auto Shapeshift option.
