Aaron Blackthorn had returned. He was supposed to be helping with WTF, but he suddenly rose to power. It went straight to his head. For personal reasons, VWE superstars Jon Payne and Jayson Jones quit the business. Down in the Bingo Hall (Better known as WTF), he was called upon by Administration. At the time, Victor Kahn was the General Manager, leading WTF as a whole. Unknown to him, he was to be promoted, leaving the Hall behind him. When he first arrived, he met with old friends, Kyle Nobbs, Lucas Klash, Kim Hunter, etc. In the Cafe, he had met "Mr. Showtime" Bryan Daniels for the first time. His first match was at one of the biggest PPV's in VWE history, Majestic Melee. He was drafted to VWE Show, Cooked.
He was to fight a person who was unstoppable down in WTF, Brett Damon. This man was a former Tap Out! Champion but had been demoted down to WTF. After such a promotion and a second chance, Brett let it fall through. Skull had defeated him with his signature move, "The Skull Basher." Later on that night, the main event was to occur. A thirty man over the top battle royal. Surprisingly to everyone, Skull entered near the end and came down to the last. In the end, Mafia was victorous.
Silent Scream
In the WTF, Lucas Klash and Kyle Nobbs had joined forces to create a team called Silent Scream. After the death of Kyle's close friend and former tag team partner, Criminal, Kyle and Lucas rose to the top and were quickly promoted. Finally, after he arrived, Skull was offered by Lucas to be a member. He accepted, graciously. Soon after, Kyle and Lucas went on a losing streak. Lucas began to dissappear. Soon after, in the locker room, Lucas went off on both men. JMod stepped in and Silent Scream was giving The Prime Time Players a final match. An elmination six man tables match. Silent Scream lost and it was the end of it. Lucas disappeared shortly after, not to be seen again until the next season.
On His Own
Recently, Shawn Hollywood had won the VWE HardKore Championship. Indeed, Skull wanted it to gain access to the next level. Elizabeth Knight and Michael Kid too wanted in and the fatal four way took place at Cooked. Skull ended the match with pinning Elizabeth, winning the HardKore title in his second match, shocking the VWE wrestlers that doubted him. (They still do.) The following week, his title was lost as he didn't need it anymore. The victor was Jay Legend in a triple threat match between Skull, Jay Legend, and Veronica Valentine. Later on, he defeated former VWE World Champion, Gung Ho. Wrestlefest V was approaching. He knew what he wanted, though many didn't want it to happen so. The Cooked Champion, LBK was undefeated in his Cooked title streak, winning maybe seven times. Skull wanted to fight LBK at Wrestlefest, but of course, Jonny Pyro, Kim Hunter, and Shawn Hollywood didn't want this to happen. They were upset that they all blew their chances and failed. LBK accepted his offer and the two fought at the Fest. Skull didn't not win, however, LBK gave him props for putting up one of the best matches of his career. Shortly after, the father of Aaron and Erin Blackthorn drug his children out of the arena. The offseason began.
