SmashTV Presents: Teenage Mutant Superheroes is a 2016 Parody Superhero Comedy Film based on the SmashTV Skit of the same name. It parodies the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (mainly The Avengers and Avengers: Age Of Ultron). It is the 6th installment of the SmashTV Presents Franchise and is directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. It was released on August 26 2016 in 3D and IMAX 3D formats.

The first teaser was shown during Ridiculousness on October 23rd, and was attached to A Scout's Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse on October 30th.

A new trailer was attached to 10 Cloverfield Lane on March 11th 2016, and was shown at the SmashTV Awards 2016 on the same day.


The Official soundtrack was released on August 12 2016, two weeks before the film is released.

The film received critical acclaim, holding a 91% certified fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 83% on Metacritic.

The film grossed $114 million on its opening weekend, beating Titanfall, Don't Breathe, Mechanic: Resurrection, Sausage Party, and Suicide Squad for the top spot.


A Sequel was announced in November 2016 and will be released in Summer 2019, with Rogen and Goldberg returning to direct the sequel.
