Surgery
- Operated on for cyst. Found grapefruit-sized tumor and smaller isolated tumors that had not spred.
- Exploratory found no evidence of disease
Modified Intraperitoneal chemotherapy
- Infuse "normal" doses of the P-6 phase-two drugs (VP-16 and ifosfomide) through a peritoneal port in abdomen. Fluids would be absorbed back into the body, no draining. This procedure would be repeated three times.
Chemotherapy
- 1. Modified version of Kushner's P6 protocol (all at lower than recommended dosage)
- 3-day infusions of Cytoxan, Adriamycin and Vincristine (CAV).
- Three courses consisting of 5-day infusions of VP-16 and ifosfomide over 21-28 day cycles.
- 2. Modified version of P6 with DSMO
