• (The Thomas Season 7 intro is shown and we begin Snow Engine)
• Michael Brandon: Oliver and Duck are Great Western engines. They delivered goods and passengers when the roads are closed by deep snow. But Oliver thinks snow was messy and cold.
• Oliver: I'm a Great Western engine.
• Michael Brandon: He chuffed one day.
• Oliver: I shouldn't have to shiver.
• Toad: Begging your pardon, Mr. Oliver?
• Michael Brandon: Whispered Toad.
• Toad: But I think snow is splendid.
• Oliver: Huh.
• Michael Brandon: Later, Oliver saw some children building a giant snowman for their winter festival. Each time, Oliver passed by the snowman grew bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.
• Toad: Just an obviation, Mr. Oliver, snow is magical.
• Oliver: Oh.
• Michael Brandon: Finally, the snowman was complete. Oliver chuffed back to his warm cozy shed. Sir Topham Hatt was waiting for him.
• Sir Topham Hatt: You have to return to the mountain village.
• Michael Brandon: He said.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Some goods are needed for the festival.
• Oliver: But all this snow makes my wheels feel chilly.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Really useful engines work hard whenever the weather.
• Michael Brandon: Soon, Oliver was loaded and on his way. The snow was cold. It had frozen the points and diverted Oliver into the station sidings.
• Oliver: Whoa, shiver my boiler!
• Michael Brandon: Cried Oliver. His driver applied the brakes.
• Toad: Is there a problem, Mr. Oliver?
• Oliver: Yeah, there is! Whoa!
• Toad: That could been a little smoother.
• Michael Brandon: Oliver felt awful. He thought the children would be upset about their snowman. Oliver's driver went for help. Sir Topham Hatt was just leaving his office when he got the call.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Duck will bring the breakdown crane first thing in the morning.
• Michael Brandon: He said. Oliver's driver returned and told him the news.
• Oliver: I'll be out here all night.
• Michael Brandon: Moaned Oliver
• Driver: I'm afraid so.
• Michael Brandon: Luckily, the village inn had a toasty warm room for Oliver's driver. But Oliver was getting colder and colder. His fire had gone out and his funnel was covered in icicles.
• Oliver: I was right all along. There's nothing magical about snow.
• Michael Brandon: Toad was beginning to think Oliver might be right.
• Toad: Brrr!
• Michael Brandon: Next morning the children saw the situation.
• Girl: Look.
• Michael Brandon: A little girl shouted.
• Girl: Our snowman has eyes in his tummy.
• Boy: No it doesn't.
• Michael Brandon: Laughed a little boy.
• Boy: It's Oliver
• Michael Brandon: That gave the children an idea. When Oliver woke up he was surrounded by happy children.
• Children: Oliver's a wonderful snow engine!
• Michael Brandon: They cried. Oliver was so relief that suddenly he didn't feel any cold anymore. When Duck arrived with the breakdown crane, Oliver didn't want to leave. He loved the winter festival so much.
• Oliver: You were right, Toad.
• Michael Brandon: Called Oliver.
• Oliver: There are some magical things about snow.
• Toad: Perhaps, Mr. Oliver.
• Michael Brandon: Shivered Toad.
• Oliver: Absolutely.
• (A nameplate sequence occurs and we begin What's The Matter With Henry?)
• Michael Brandon: It was the end of a busy day. The engines have been working hard. They were feeling pleased and proud, except Henry. He was feeling ill.
• Thomas: What's the matter with you, Henry?
• Michael Brandon: Thomas asked.
• Henry: My boiler's grumbling.
• Thomas: Maybe it's grumbling at you.
• Michael Brandon: Teased Thomas.
• Henry: That's not funny.
• Michael Brandon: Hissed Henry.
• Henry: You just don't care.
• Michael Brandon: But Emily saw that Henry was leaving a puddle of water behind. She was worried. The next morning, Sir Topham Hatt arrived.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Thomas, Percy, Henry, i want you to collect some freight cars and take them to the docks.
• Thomas and Percy: Yes sir.
• Michael Brandon: Cried Thomas and Percy. Henry watched the engines puff away. He didn't feel well.
• Henry: Useful engines don't complain.
• Michael Brandon: Henry muttered. He was leaving water everywhere as he chuffed towards the coaling plant. When Emily saw this she was more worried than ever. Then, Thomas and Percy overtook Henry.
• Percy: Hurry up, Henry!
• Michael Brandon: Percy tooted.
• Henry: I can't go any faster.
• Michael Brandon: Henry chuffed miserably.
• Thomas: You're just being lazy.
• Michael Brandon: Teased Thomas. By the time Thomas and Percy reached the coaling plant, they had a naughty plan.
• Thomas: Please sir.
• Michael Brandon: Said Thomas.
• Thomas: Henry wants to take more freight cars.
• Percy: He is bigger.
• Michael Brandon: Added Percy. The yard manager agreed. Meanwhile, Emily was talking to Sir Topham Hatt.
• Emily: I'm worried about Henry.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Hmm, perhaps his tubes are leaking.
• Michael Brandon: Replied Sir Topham Hatt.
• Sir Topham Hatt: You better check.
• Michael Brandon: By the time Henry reached the coaling plant, Thomas and Percy had already left.
• Henry: Why did Thomas and Percy leave me so many freight cars?
• Michael Brandon: Moaned Henry.
• Henry: They know i'm not feeling well.
• Henry's Driver: We'll still have to take them.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver. Henry chuffed and puffed and pulled his long line of freight cars.
• Henry's Driver: You can do it, Henry.
• Michael Brandon: Encouraged his driver. But it was no use. Henry ground to a halt. Just then, Emily arrived.
• Emily: Are you all right, Henry?
• Henry: No.
• Michael Brandon: Moaned Henry.
• Henry: I'm stuck.
• Michael Brandon: Henry's fireman uncoupled the freight cars. Emily changed tracks and then hooked up to Henry.
• Henry: Oh, thank you, Emily.
• Michael Brandon: Wheeshed Henry. Emily and Henry puffed into the docks.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Well done, Emily.
• Michael Brandon: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
• Emily: Thank you sir.
• Michael Brandon: Then he spoke to Henry.
• Sir Topham Hatt: You were brave Henry. You aren't well, but you still tried to pull the heavy freight cars.
• Michael Brandon: Thomas and Percy felt ashamed.
• Thomas: We're sorry, Henry.
• Michael Brandon: Said Thomas.
• Percy: We didn't think you were really sick.
• Michael Brandon: Added Percy.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Go back and collect Henry's freight cars.
• Michael Brandon: Said Sir Topham Hatt sternly.
• Thomas: Yes, sir.
• Michael Brandon: Whispered Thomas. Soon, Henry was mended and back at work.
• Emily: You're looking so much better.
• Michael Brandon: Said Emily.
• Henry: Well they mended my tubes. But they didn't even look at my brakes, my gauges, my squeaky wheels.
• Michael Brandon: Emily smiled.
• Emily: All in good time, Henry.
• Michael Brandon: Poor Henry.
• (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Toby's Windmill)
• Michael Brandon: There are many beautiful places on the Island of Sodor. The engines loved the pretty watermill, the peaceful canals and the castle on the lake. Toby's favorite place is the old windmill. The windmill is worn, it cannot make much flower now. Toby loves to watch the sails go around. And the miller is his friend.
• Miller: Good morning, Toby.
• Michael Brandon: One day, Toby was collecting a load of flour to take to the market. But he was busy watching the windmill sails, that he forgot to look where he was going. All the flour was ruined and the miller was upset.
• Miller: If I can't sell my flour I'll have to shut down the windmill.
• Toby: I'm sorry.
• Michael Brandon: Sighed Toby. Harvey arrived to put the trucks back onto the tracks. Toby was sad.
• Toby: What will the miller do if the mill shuts down?
• Toby's Driver: It's a shame.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver.
• Toby's Driver: But we must hurry, Toby, there's a storm on the way.
• Michael Brandon: Toby couldn't sleep that night. It wasn't the thunder and lightning that kept them awake. He was still worrying about the miller. That stormy night, the old windmill was struck by lightning. The next morning, Toby chuffed carefully along his branch line. The storm had torn trees from the ground and the farm buildings have been damaged. Then, Toby saw the most shocking sight of all.
• Toby: The windmill is broken!
• Michael Brandon: He cried.
• Miller: This means the end of my business.
• Michael Brandon: Said the miller sadly.
• Miller: I can't afford the timbers to make the repairs.
• Michael Brandon: Toby really wanted to help.
• Toby: There must be a way.
• Michael Brandon: Suddenly, his driver saw a fallen tree ahead. Harvey and Terence were clearing the track. Sir Topham Hatt was cross.
• Sir Topham Hatt: This storm has caused confusion and delay. Remove this tree immediately!
• Mr. Conductor 3: But Toby had an idea.
• Toby: Please sir. The windmill has been broken. The wood from this tree can mend it and make it work again.
• Sir Topham Hatt: A splendid idea.
• Michael Brandon: Agreed Sir Topham Hatt. Toby proudly took the tree to the miller. The miller was delighted.
• Miller: Now we can build our windmill back up again. It would be good as new.
• Michael Brandon: Toby watched as the work began. It took a long time, but as last the windmill was completed. Sir Topham Hatt was most impressed. The miller was grateful.
• Miller: Thank you, Toby, your idea saved my windmill.
• Michael Brandon: Toby beamed happily. Now the windmill produces more flour than ever before and Toby makes twice as many deliveries to the market. He never tires of watching the sails go around and he is very proud that the miller now calls it: Toby's Windmill.
• (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Bill, Ben and Fergus)
• Michael Brandon: Fergus is a small railway traction engine who works on the Island of Sodor. One day, he was on his way to the quarry. He had a special job to do for Sir Topham Hatt.
• Thomas: Hello!
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Thomas.
• Thomas: Where are you going?
• Fergus: To the quarry.
• Michael Brandon: Fergus chuffed happily.
• Thomas: Watch out for Bill and Ben the twins.
• Michael Brandon: Said Thomas.
• Thomas: They love to make mischief.
• Fergus: I won't let young rascals rattle me.
• Thomas: You don't know the twins like i do.
• Michael Brandon: Warned Thomas. Fergus arrived at the quarry. He went to work with Mavis and the twins.
• Mavis: I'm afraid the freight cars are in a mess.
• Michael Brandon: Said Mavis.
• Fergus: Not to worry. We'll soon sort them out.
• Michael Brandon: Bill and Ben were delighted.
• Ben: Now we'll have some fun.
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Ben.
• Bill: They will have the old boiler in a spin.
• Michael Brandon: Steamed Bill. Fergus liked helping Mavis. But he didn't like the way the twins were behaving one bit. Bill banged his freight cars hard. Some rocks fell onto the track.
• Fergus: Do it right!
• Michael Brandon: Fergus ordered. Bill didn't like being ordered about by a traction engine.
• Bill: Don't interfere!
• Michael Brandon: He snapped back. Then Ben pushed his freight cars to block the line. Fergus was stuck.
• Fergus: Out of my way!
• Michael Brandon: Steamed Fergus. But Ben just grinned. The next day, the men were blasting rock.
• Fergus: Wait for the all clear signal.
• Michael Brandon: Fergus called to Bill and Ben.
• Fergus: Do it right.
• Bill: There he goes again.
• Michael Brandon: Puffed Bill.
• Bill: Do it right, from morning till night.
• Ben: Keep your funnel out our quarry.
• Michael Brandon: Huffed Ben. The quarry master sent Bill and Ben to collect a rock crusher from the harbour. Fergus was left in peace with Mavis. The twins were still thinking about Fergus.
• Bill: He's just an old fusspot.
• Michael Brandon: Said Bill.
• Ben: He's always saying Do It Right.
• Bill: Well the next thing he tells us to do.
• Michael Brandon: Wheeshed Bill.
• Both: We'll do it wrong (laugh together)
• Michael Brandon: They laughed. Bill and Ben steamed back to the quarry. The rock crusher was heavy. It shook the rails as they went.
• Fergus: The blasting had made that rock face unsafe.
• Michael Brandon: Warned Fergus.
• Fergus: Don't go near it, do it right.
• Michael Brandon: But the twins took no notice of Fergus and were very naughty. As roughly as they could, they rattled the load towards the cliff.
• Fergus: Look out!
• Michael Brandon: Cried Fergus and he rushed forward and he bumped Bill and Ben out of the way. His driver jumped to safety as the rocks began to fall. But Fergus was covered in rocks right up to his funnel. It took a long time to dig him out. And no one worked harder to help than Bill and Ben. At last, Fergus was free. Bill and Ben were ashamed.
• Bill: We should have been so naughty.
• Michael Brandon: Said Bill.
• Ben: We're very sorry.
• Michael Brandon: Added Ben.
• Fergus: Good.
• Michael Brandon: Smiled Fergus.
• Fergus: From now on we can all do it right together.
• (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Fergus Breaks The Rules)
• Michael Brandon: Thomas and Fergus the Traction Engine are friends. Fergus is the pride of the cement works. Fergus knows all the rules and obeys them. One day, Sir Topham Hatt brought Devious Diesel to the cement works.
• Sir Topham Hatt: I need Diesel to help for a while. Fergus please show him around.
• Fergus: Yes.
• Michael Brandon: Said Fergus unhappily. He knew that Diesel could be trouble. Later, Diesel was being careless.
• Fergus: Not like that!
• Michael Brandon: Snapped Fergus.
• Fergus: Do it right.
• Diesel: Don't interfere.
• Michael Brandon: Sneered Diesel.
• Fergus: You don't know the rules!
• Michael Brandon: Shouted Fergus. Diesel was very annoyed with Fergus and started plotting a devious plan. Later that day, he pretended to have news for Fergus.
• Diesel: Sir Topham Hatt wants you to work at the smelters.
• Fergus: Me? But I'm the pride of the cement works.
• Diesel: Not anymore. Sir Topham Hatt says I'm better than you. So I'm going to stay here.
• Fergus: It's not fair. I love working here.
• Michael Brandon: But he knew that really useful engines have to do as they are told.
• Diesel: (laughs maniacally)
• Michael Brandon: Fergus and his driver arrived at the smelters.
• Fergus: I wanna go back to the cement works.
• Michael Brandon: Wailed Fergus.
• Fergus: None of the other engines like coming here it's so scary.
• Fergus' Driver: You're right.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver. Just then, the scrap diesels arrived.
• Arry and Bert: Hello, are you happy to be here?
• Fergus: No!
• Michael Brandon: Cried Fergus. His driver was scared too.
• Fergus' Driver: Come on, Fergus, we're going to escape.
• Michael Brandon: And for the first time, Fergus broke the rules. Sir Topham Hatt was enjoying a tasty fish supper when he heard that Fergus was missing.
• Sir Topham Hatt: That's not like Fergus. There must be something wrong. I will send Thomas to look for him.
• Michael Brandon: Fergus and his driver turn onto an unused track to find a place to hide. Fergus was frightened, so was Thomas. He puffed up and down the line. He couldn't see Fergus anywhere.
• Thomas' Driver: We could search the old mine track.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver.
• Thomas: That line is dark and spooky.
• Michael Brandon: Whispered Thomas. But he had to be brave and find Fergus. Fergus was on a siding. His fire had gone out. Then, he heard a sound.
• Fergus: It's an engine!
• Michael Brandon: He cried.
• Thomas: Fergus.
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Thomas.
• Thomas: Whatever are you doing out here?
• Fergus: Hiding. Don't wanna work at the smelters. Sir Topham Hatt is going to be cross with me.
• Thomas: He's not.
• Michael Brandon: Cried Thomas.
• Thomas: He's worried about you.
• Fergus: Really?
• Thomas: Of course.
• Michael Brandon: Puffed Thomas. Fergus felt better. Thomas pulled Fergus all the way to the smelters yard where he knew Sir Topham Hatt was waiting.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Fergus, explain yourself.
• Fergus: I ran away. It's scary here.
• Thomas: Diesel told Fergus that he wanted him at the smelters forever.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Nonsense, Fergus, you are the pride of the cement works. I shall send Diesel to the smelters and you can go back to the cement works tomorrow.
• Fergus: Oh, thank you, sir.
• Michael Brandon: Said Fergus happily. Fergus knew he had a good friend in Thomas and he was still the pride of the cement works.
• (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Harold and The Flying Horse)
• Michael Brandon: Harold the Helicopter is glad not to be a steam engine. He is much happier flying in the sky than racing along on road or rails. One sunny morning, the engines were busy preparing for the Vicar's annual garden party.
• Harold: I like to help.
• Michael Brandon: Called Harold.
• Harold: But i'm on patrol.
• Michael Brandon: He was looking for engines that might be in trouble. Meanwhile, the engines puffed to and fro with their loads to the party. Percy was delivering deck chairs and decorations, tables and tea earns and reminders.
• Percy: Don't forget to come to the Vicar's party.
• Harold: Thanks for the invitation.
• Michael Brandon: Called Harold.
• Harold: But duty calls.
• Michael Brandon: And he whirred away. Harold was landing at his airfield to get more fuel when he saw Pegasus the cart horse that lives close by. Pegasus was ready to give rides to children. He had a shiny leather hornest and a freshly painted cart. Harold was beginning to feel left out of the celebrations. He wished more than ever that he could help. Thomas puffed in with some passengers.
• Harold: Where are you going next?
• Michael Brandon: Buzzed Harold.
• Thomas: To the Vicar's party of course. Everyone's going.
• Harold: Everyone except me.
• Michael Brandon: Replied Harold.
• Harold: I'm on duty.
• Thomas: Yes indeed.
• Michael Brandon: Said Thomas kindly.
• Thomas: Being a rescue helicopter is important work.
• Harold: But no one needs rescuing.
• Michael Brandon: Sighed Harold. Then came the surprise. Harold's pilot recieved an urgent call from Sir Topham Hatt.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Pegasus is stuck in a ditch. If he doesn't get to the Vicar's party, the children will be disappointed. You must rescue him at once.
• Harold: All set and ready for action.
• Michael Brandon: Reported Harold.
• Percy: Pegasus?
• Michael Brandon: Wondered Percy.
• Percy: That's a funny name for a horse.
• Sir Topham Hatt: It's the name of a flying horse in a very old story.
• Michael Brandon: Explained Sir Topham Hatt.
• Percy: Flying horse!?
• Michael Brandon: Exclaimed Percy.
• Percy: Horses can't fly.
• Michael Brandon: He felt very clever. Harold flew to the rescue as fast as he could.
• Harold: What happened?
• Michael Brandon: He asked Thomas.
• Thomas: We were loading the cart. Pegasus wondered off into the ditch. Silly Horse, now he's stuck. If you can take him, I can take the cart.
• Harold: I'll put Pegasus in my sling.
• Thomas: We need to hurry.
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Thomas.
• Thomas: The party is about to begin.
• Michael Brandon: And he steamed away. Soon, Harold's pilot had fitted Harold's sling under Pegasus. Then, Harold lifted him gently into the air and carefully carried him across the fields. When Percy saw Pegasus flying through the sky he was amazed.
• Percy: Well flatten my funnel, so horses can fly after all.
• Michael Brandon: The children cheered for Harold. He had saved the day. Soon, Pegasus was hitched up to the cart. The party was a big sucess and the children had a wonderful time. Harold was happy. He'd stayed on duty and had fun at the party too.
• (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Hooray For Thomas)
• Michael Brandon: It was an exciting day on the Island of Sodor.
• Harold: Good morning!
• Michael Brandon: Called Harold. Annie and Clarabel were full of happy children. Thomas was taking them to their annual sports day. Everything was ready for the day to begin.
• Boy: I do hope i'm Number 1 and win a medal.
• Michael Brandon: Said a boy.
• Thomas: It must be splendid to win a medal.
• Michael Brandon: Chuffed Thomas.
• Thomas: After all I'm engine Number 1.
• Michael Brandon: Thomas worked hard all afternoon. But he couldn't stop thinking about medals. He imagined himself wearing a gold medal on a bright red ribbon. How smart he would look.
• Percy: Hello, Thomas.
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Percy.
• Percy: I'm taking Sir Topham Hatt to sports day.
• Thomas: You can see the egg and spoon race.
• Michael Brandon: Chuffed Thomas.
• Percy: I didn't know eggs and spoons had races.
• Bertie: A children race with eggs on spoon.
• Michael Brandon: Said Bertie.
• Thomas: And the winner gets a medal. I wish i could have a medal.
• Percy: You need to win a race first.
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Percy.
• Bertie: I'll race you, Thomas. The first one to the station is the winner.
• Thomas: You're on!
• Michael Brandon: Called Thomas.
• Bertie: Ready, steady, go!
• Thomas: Better hurry, Bertie.
• Michael Brandon: Peeped Thomas. Then, Thomas had to stop to pick up some passengers.
• Bertie: Better hurry, Thomas.
• Michael Brandon: Teased Bertie as he rattled over the bridge. Then, Bertie had to stop at the level crossing.
• Thomas: Last one there puffs hot air.
• Michael Brandon: Called Thomas. Thomas was nearly at the station. As he drew near the plane field, a signalman flagged him down. Now Thomas was really cross. Bertie was sure to win. Then he saw Sir Topham Hatt.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Thomas, the sports day medals have been left in my office. You must fetch them at once. We can't let the children down.
• Thomas: Of course not, sir.
• Michael Brandon: Replied Thomas and he chuffed away. Meanwhile, Bertie had raced into the station.
• Bertie: I won!
• Michael Brandon: Shouted Bertie.
• Bertie: I won!
• Michael Brandon: And he waited eagerly for Thomas. He waited and waited. But Thomas had forgotten about the race. He was thinking about the children.
• Thomas: I can't let them down, i can't let them down.
• Michael Brandon: At last, Thomas puffed back into the big station. The stationmaster gave Thomas' driver the box of medals. Then, Thomas set off again. He arrived just in time.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Well done.
• Michael Brandon: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
• Thomas: Thank you, Sir.
• Michael Brandon: Panted Thomas. Sir Topham Hatt presented the medals to the winners.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Congratulations.
• Children: Thank you sir.
• Michael Brandon: The next day, Bertie and the medal winner arrived with a surprise for Thomas. A small boy presented him with a gold medal on a red ribbon.
