Narrator: "It was wintertime in TV Land. It had snowed all night. The trees were white. The cottages were white and even Mayor Adam West's land was white. There was not a TV character in sight."

At the sheds, the TV character looked out. Bart was very excited."

Bart: "It snowed!"

Narrator: "RS Mr. Conductor didn't like the snow."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Bother! I'll have to wear my heavy boots."

Homer: "I don't like snow. You can get stuck in it."

Garfield: "Stuff and nonsense! Snow is soft but I am strong! It won't bother me!"

Narrator: "Then, Mayor West arrived."

Mayor Adam West: "Garfield, you must take some goombas to the harbor. They are needed for an important coal delivery. You are a strong cat, but snow is slippery. Take the long way around."

Garfield: "Yes, sir!"

Mayor Adam West: "RS Mr. Conductor, you must deliver bundles of firewood to the stations."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Yes, sir!"

Narrator: "And then, Mayor West left.

RS Mr. Conductor puffed with pride."

RS Mr. Conductor: "That's a very special job."

Garfield: "Not as important as mine! I shall go straight to the harbor. I shall run over every hill I come to!"

Narrator: "Garfield boasted proudly."

Stacy Jones: "Take the long way around! That means Garfield, don't go up any hills!"

Garfield: "Hills are not too steep for me! I am strong! I am the best!"

Narrator: "And Garfield left the sheds.

Garfield huffed and he puffed. His breath was gray against the snowy white countryside. Soon, Garfield came to a hill."

Garfield: "This hill isn't too steep for me! I shall run over it."

Narrator: "So Garfield thundered up the hill."

Garfield: "I am special, I am the best!"

Narrator: "And he ran right to the top."

Garfield: "That was easy!"

Narrator: "But Garfield found going down the other side wasn't so easy. The ground was icy. Garfield's feet slipped and slid. He went faster and faster."

Garfield: "Perishing feet!"

Narrator: "Shadow was going up the hill. David and Jane Read were following. They were having tea."

Shadow: "Slow down, Garfield!"

Narrator: "But Garfield couldn't slow down. Slushy snow sprayed from his feet. Shadow was covered from head to toe."

Shadow: "Rattle my feet! I'm as dirty as a ditch!"

Narrator: "But Garfield didn't hear, as he ran across the icy path.

Garfield came to another hill. It was even bigger."

Garfield: "This hill isn't too steep for me! I shall run over it."

Narrator: "So, Garfield thundered up the hill."

Garfield: "I am special, I am the best!"

Narrator: "But the paths were icy. The snow was deep, and the hill was very, very steep. Garfield ran slower and slower."

Garfield: "Bust my body! This... is... hard... work!"

Narrator: "Step by step, Garfield huffed and puffed to the top of the hill. He felt very pleased."

Garfield: "I am the strongest, I am the best!"

Narrator: "But at the bottom of the hill, there was deep, deep snow! The snow flew up, all over Garfield's face!"

Garfield: "Bubbling bodies! I can't see!"

Narrator: "Garfield shook off the main track and into a siding, straight into the back of a pile of slate!

Garfield was covered in thick, grey dust."

Garfield: "Oh, the indignity! At least I can see now."

Narrator: "And Garfield huffed on towards the harbor. The snow was deeper, and deeper, and deeper! Garfield could hardly get through it."

Garfield: "This is hard work!"

Narrator: "Now, Garfield was at the bottom of Garfield's hill. Garfield's hill was the biggest of all, and it was covered in thick, thick snow."

Garfield: "Garfield's hill isn't too steep for me! I shall run over it! I am strong! I am the best!"

Narrator: "But Garfield didn't feel so strong anymore, and he didn't feel the best. Garfield puffed against the snow."

Garfield: "Snow is soft, and I am strong. It won't bother me!"

Narrator: "But the snow wasn't soft. It had become a giant snowball. It grew bigger, and bigger. Garfield started to huff slower, and slower. He thought his back was going to burst!"

Garfield: "Oh, my!"

Narrator: "Just then, RS Mr. Conductor came up behind Garfield.

RS Mr. Conductor: "Thanks for clearing the paths, Garfield. Now I can deliver the firewood faster!"

Narrator: "Then there was trouble. The giant snowball was too big, and too heavy. It started to push Garfield back down the hill."

Garfield: "Look out, RS Mr. Conductor!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Gold dust and whistles!"

Narrator: "Garfield and his goombas rolled back faster, and faster! RS Mr. Conductor backed up faster, and faster! He slipped into a siding, and Garfield rolled round the bend."

Garfield: "The giant snowball will surely miss us now!"

Narrator: "But Garfield was wrong. The giant snowball rolled down the hill and crashed and bashed into RS Mr. Conductor!"

Garfield: "Help!"

Narrator: "Garfield saw RS Mr. Conductor and his pile of firewood lifted high in the air and knocked out! Now, it was RS Mr. Conductor who looked like a giant snowball. Luckily, no one was hurt. Garfield felt terrible."

Garfield: "I'm not strong, and I'm not the best. It's a disaster!"

Narrator: "Garfield walked slowly to RS Mr. Conductor."

Garfield: "I'm sorry, RS Mr. Conductor. I'll try my best to help you."

Narrator: "Garfield heaved and hauled. He pushed and puffed, but the snow was too heavy. The snow was too thick. Garfield could not chuff through it to help his friend."

Garfield: "I'm not strong enough, RS Mr. Conductor. I'll find Mighty Moe. He's stronger than me!"

Narrator: "Garfield found Mighty Moe at the harbor."

Mighty Moe: "Hello, RS Mr. Conductor. I'll have you out of there in no time!"

Narrator: "Soon, RS Mr. Conductor was no longer a snowball. He was a bright blue conductor again!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Thank you, Mighty Moe! Now I must deliver my firewood. I'm very late. The stationmasters will be waiting, and they'll be very cold!"

Garfield: "I'll help you, RS Mr. Conductor!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "What about your very important job?"

Garfield: "I delivered my goombas to the harbor. Now I can help you with your very important job."

Narrator: "RS Mr. Conductor was very happy to have his friend's help."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Thank you, Garfield."

Narrator: "RS Mr. Conductor and Garfield ran cheerfully through the snow and when they came to a hill, they always went around it. Together, RS Mr. Conductor and Garfield delivered the firewood to all the stations. The stationmasters were very pleased to see them. At last, Garfield and RS Mr. Conductor puffed home to the sheds. They were tired, but they were happy to have been really useful. Garfield announced grandly..."

Garfield: "I have something very important to say! No TV character is special and every TV character is best!"

Narrator: "RS Mr. Conductor and his friends whistled. They all agreed with Garfield."
