Narrator: "It was the stormy season in Ponyville. All the animals were battling against the bad weather.

Spike was busy taking mail to a far part of Equestria. He really liked going up to High Farm. A little filly named Zipporwhill lived there. Zipporwhill and Spike were good friends.

One day, Spike was on his way to High Farm when Pinkie Pie stopped beside him.

Pinkie Pie was a pink earth pony. She was always pleased to see Spike. She liked him so much that she tried to be just him. So she tried to copy him. She tried to walk the way he did. She even tried to whistle like Spike. It make Spike cross."

Pinkie Pie: "Hello, Spike."

Narrator: "Said Pinkie Pie brightly."

Pinkie Pie: "What are you doing?"

Spike: "It's Zipporwhill's birthday."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "I want to get all her letters up in good time."

Narrator: "Just then, Owlowiscious arrived with a new weather report."

Owlowiscious: "Another storm warning I'm afraid and heavy rain."

Narrator: "Owlowiscious warned Spike not to go up to High Farm."

Owlowiscious: "Heavy rain could cause landslides on that hilly road."

Narrator: "And Owlowiscious flew away. Spike didn't want to let Zipporwhill down."

Spike: "High winds don't bother me."

Narrator: "He said."

Pinkie Pie: "Or me."

Narrator: "Said Pinkie Pie."

Pinkie Pie: "I'll come as your back pony."

Narrator: "But Spike didn't want Pinkie Pie to come."

Spike: "No thank you, Pinkie Pie."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "I can do it on my own."

Narrator: "And Spike walked away. But Pinkie Pie liked Spike very much and she wanted to help. So she walked naughtily after him.

Spike walked up the road to High Farm. The sky grew darker and darker. Soon it was pouring with rain. Spike's feet stumped. It was hard work."

Spike: "Pinkie Pie can't follow me."

Narrator: "He thought."

Spike: "She isn't strong enough."

Narrator: "But Spike was wrong. Pinkie Pie's hooves were stumping right behind him. She whistled cheerfully to Spike. Spike was cross."

Spike: "Bother!"

Narrator: "Soon, Spike came to more paths. One way was the long, but easy way to High Farm. The other way was short, but much harder way. Spike knew the longer way was safer."

Spike: "But I'll take the short way."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "Then Pinkie Pie can't follow me. She isn't strong enough."

Narrator: "As the storm raged, Spike walked up the steep path. Spike was almost at High Farm. He was sure Pinkie Pie wasn't behind him now."

Spike: "I won't be seeing anymore of her today."

Narrator: "Thought Spike. Then came trouble. Earth and stones tumbled down the bank and blocked Spike's path."

Spike: "Fire and scales!"

Narrator: "Said Spike. But he still wanted to delivered Zipporwhill's presents."

Spike: "I'll just have to bash my way through."

Narrator: "Said Spike. He walked up to the landslide. Spike was almost up to feet in mud and stone. He tried to go on."

(Spike groans)

Narrator: "But he couldn't. He tried to back out, but he couldn't. Spike was stuck."

Spike: "I should have listened to Owlowiscious."

Narrator: "He said."

Spike: "Now Zipporwhill won't get her presents on time. I've let her down."

Narrator: "Then, he heard the sound of a pony. It was Pinkie Pie coming up the hill behind him."

Pinkie Pie: "It's meeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Narrator: "She said. Then she saw Spike was stuck. Spike felt silly and very sad."

Pinkie Pie: "I'll go and get help."

Narartor: "Said Pinkie Pie."

Spike: "Wait a minute. Please, will you deliver Zipporwhill's present?"

Narrator: "Pinkie Pie was delighted."

Pinkie Pie: "Of course I can."

Narrator: "She said. Pinkie Pie collected Spike's changelings, and set off to High Farm. Spike waited for Pinkie Pie to come back. He was glad she had followed him after all.

Soon Pinkie Pie came walking back down the path."

Pinkie Pie: "Zipporwhill's mother has telephoned for help. Shining Armor is on his way to pull you out."

Narrator: "Then Spike noticed Pinkie Pie had someone with her. It was Zipporwhill. She had come to thank Spike for getting her birthday presents to her."

Spike: "I couldn't have done it without Pinkie Pie's help."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "Now, we can all celebrate your birthday together."

Narrator: "Spike whistled happily, and so did Pinkie Pie."
