Spike and the Treasure

Narrator: "Ponyville Docks is a very busy place. Animals bring changelings, griffins unload cargo, and ships bring visitors.

One day, Spike had to collect a very important visitor; the Admiral. Spike was to take the Admiral to open the new Maritime museum. It was a museum all about the sea. Cheese Sandwich was excited."

Cheese Sandwich: "The Admiral is always looking for the lost pirate treasure."

Narrator: "He said."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Pirates?"

Narrator: "Scoffed Cranky."

Rarity: "Treasure?"

Narrator: "Huffed Rarity."

Cheese Sandwich: "Yes."

Narrator: "Said Cheese Sandwich."

Cheese Sandwich: "But no one has ever found it."

Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich told them there were three clues."

Cheese Sandwich: "First, find the eagle of the mountains. Its beak will point to the clouds not in the sky. Then those clouds will lead to the skull and crossbones. And there you'll find the treasure, me hearties."

Spike: "Eagle, clouds, skull and crossbones."

Narrator: "Said Spike excitedly."

Spike: "I'm sure I could solve those clues!"

Narrator: "Rarity and Cranky thought it was all nonsense. And that made Spike cross.

Just then, the Admiral arrived. Spike puffed off to collect him. The Admiral had to be at the museum in time for the grand opening. Spike felt very proud to be taking him."

Spike: "What if I arrived with the Admiral and a chest of pirate treasure."

Narrator: "Thought Spike."

Spike: "That would show Cranky and Rarity!"

Narrator: "So Spike chuffed onto the path away from the museum and set off into the mountains to look for the first clue.

Spike: "How could an eagle point the way?"

Narrator: "Wondered Spike."

Spike: "How can clouds not be in the sky?"

Narrator: "And Spike knew he had never seen a skull and crossbones anywhere.

Later, Rarity puffed towards Spike."

Rarity: "There's no such thing as treasure."

Narrator: "She laughed. But Spike paid no attention. The eagle of the mountains had to be somewhere.

Then he saw something wonderful. A mountain that looked like an eagle! Spike was very excited."

Spike: "I've found the first clue!"

Narrator: "He hooted happily."

Spike: "Now I'll find the next one."

Narrator: "The eagle's head would point the way.

Suddenly, Spike saw a path leading in the direction of the stone beak!"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Where are you going, Spike?"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Cranky."

Spike: "To find the clouds that are not in the sky."

Narrator: "Whistled Spike."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "How silly!"

Narrator: "Snorted Cranky. And he chuffed away.

But Spike didn't mind. He knew the clouds were here somewhere. And then, he saw them! The clouds not in the sky were reflections of clouds in the lake."

Spike: "I've found the second clue!"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Spike excitedly."

Spike: "One more and I'll find the treasure!"

Narrator: "Spike looked for a long time. And he forgot all about the Admiral.

Then Owlowiscious arrived with Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "The Admiral is late for the opening of the museum!"

Narrator: "He boomed crossly."

Hoity Toity: "You have been unreliable!"

Narrator: "Added Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Owlowiscious will now take the Admiral to the museum."

Narrator: "Spike felt very foolish. If only he hadn't spent so much time looking for the clues."

Owlowiscious: "Fancy believing in a silly old story!"

Narrator: "Laughed Owlowiscious."

Spike: "Everyone thinks I'm silly."

Narrator: "Huffed Spike."

Spike: "But I still believe there's treasure."

Narrator: "Spike puffed sadly along the path away from the lake.

Spike had never been this way before. So he didn't know where it would lead.

It lead him into a tunnel.

At last, Spike came to the end of the line. He was surprised! There were all the other animals. And there was the Admiral."

Admiral: "I am proud to declare the new Maritime museum open!"

Narrator: "He announced. Everyone cheered and whistled. Then Spike saw something even more exciting!"

Spike: "That's it!"

Narrator: "Spike cried."

Spike: "The pirate's treasure's right here!"

Rarity: "Don't be silly!"

Narrator: "Huffed Rarity."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Everyone knows it's just a silly old story!"

Narrator: "Snorted Cranky. But Spike knew he was right."

Spike: "I followed all the clues!"

Narrator: "He puffed proudly."

Admiral: "And you have found the skull and crossbones!"

Narrator: "Cried the Admiral. Everyone was surprised."

Admiral: "Someone get me a shovel!"

Narrator: "The Admiral was so excited, he dug for the pirate treasure himself. He found a big wooden chest. Inside was the pirate treasure!"

Admiral: "The pirate treasure will be the most important thing in the whole museum!"

Narrator: "Said the Admiral."

Hoity Toity: "Spike,"

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You have made this the best opening ever!"

Narrator: "Spike was very proud. He had been right to believe in Cheese Sandwich's story. He had found the treasure!"

Mr. Potato Head's Bluff

Narrator: "It was wintertime in Equestria. Mr. Potato Head was busy puffing through the white mountains and the frosty forests. He was proud to be a toy. Mr. Potato Head was delivering hot drinks to the villages. They were going to need extra drinks from Sugar Cube Corner.

So Cranky and Spike brought drinks to the wharf. Mr. Potato Head cuffed in to talk to Cranky."

Mr. Potato Head: "You were a long time getting here."

Narrator: "Teased Mr. Potato Head."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You're lucky I came at all."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Cranky crossly."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I've got an important job to do later. I'm taking some children to a concert."

Mr. Potato Head: "Oh! Is doing two jobs in one day too hard for you?"

Narrator: "Mr. Potato Head chuffed cheekily."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Pah!"

Narrator: "Snorted Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I can do more jobs in one day than you can! I"m really useful!"

Narrator: "This made Mr. Potato Head cross."

Mr. Potato Head: "How about a wee contest?"

Narrator: "Chuffed Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "I bet I can take more drinks to the villages faster than you can deliver it!"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "All right."

Narrator: "Puffed Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You're on!"

Mr. Potato Head: "I'll show you who's fastest!"

Narrator: "Chuffed Mr. Potato Head. But Mr. Potato Head was worried. Cranky was big and strong."

Mr. Potato Head: "I hope I can be as fast as Cranky."

Narrator: "He puffed nervously.

So Mr. Potato Head delivered all his drinks as fast as he could."

Mr. Potato Head: "Must beat Cranky! Must beat Cranky!"

Narrator: "He puffed.

But when Mr. Potato Head arrived back at the wharf, Cranky was waiting him."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I told you main path animals were the fastest!"

Narrator: "Teased Cranky. Mr. Potato Head looked at the long line of changelings. There were plenty of drinks for the villages there. But Mr. Potato Head didn't want to lose."

Mr. Potato Head: "Oh! Is this all you brought?"

Narrator: "He said."

Mr. Potato Head: "The villages need lots more drinks than that!"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Then I'll bring more drinks than you have ever seen!"

Narrator: "Puffed Cranky.

Cranky rushed back to Sugar Cube Corner. And Mr. Potato Head delivered the drinks to the villages.

Now all the villages had plenty of drinks. Mr. Potato Head puffed back to the wharf.

But when Mr. Potato Head arrived at the wharf, there were still lots more wagons waiting. So Mr. Potato Head decided to play a trick."

Mr. Potato Head: "I'll hide the wagons before Cranky gets back."

Narrator: "He puffed.

Soon, all the wagons were hidden."

Mr. Potato Head: "Now Cranky will think I've delivered all the drinks."

Narrator: "Mr. Potato Head chuffed cheerfully.

Cranky had collected lots more changelings from Sugar Cube Corner. He was puffing harder than he had ever puffed before. And he was using lots of drinks.

At last, Cranky arrived at the wharf. There was Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "You still haven't brought enough drinks!"

Narrator: "Teased Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "I thought you were supposed to be really useful!"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I'll soon be back with so many drinks,"

Narrator: "Puffed Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "It will take you all winter to deliver it!"

Mr. Potato Head: "Oh! We'll see!"

Narrator: "Puffed Mr. Potato Head.

Cranky still had to take the children to the concert. But had been puffing so hard, he had used up all the drinks he had. And soon, he ground to a halt.

That evening, Doc Top came to see Mr. Potato Head."

Doc Top: "Cranky is stuck. He has run out of drinks."

Narrator: "He announced."

Doc Top: "Now he won't be able to take the children to the concert."

Narrator: "Mr. Potato Head felt terrible. He thought about all the wagons he had hidden. He thought about Cranky, and he thought about the children."

Mr. Potato Head: "I have to tell you about the hidden wagons."

Narrator: "Doc Top listened hard."

Doc Top: "You have caused delay and confusion."

Narrator: "He said slowly."

Doc Top: "But you have told the truth. And a useful toy always tells the truth."

Mr. Potato Head: "I'll only be a really useful toy if I can help Cranky."

Narrator: "Whistled Mr. Potato Head.

So Mr. Potato Head collected one of the wagons he had hidden.

Snow started to fall. Mr. Potato Head rattled along the icy paths. Until, at last, Mr. Potato Head found Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "What are you doing here?"

Narrator: "Snorted Cranky."

Mr. Potato Head: "I played a trick on you."

Narrator: "Chuffed Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "I didn't take all the drinks to the villages. I hid it from you. You are the fastest and a really useful donkey."

Narrator: "Added Mr. Potato Head. But Cranky told Mr. Potato Head that was a really useful toy, too."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You brought the drinks to me so quickly, I will still be able to take the children to the concert."

Narrator: "He puffed."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Thank you, Mr. Potato Head!"

Narrator: "The drinks were quickly given to Cranky. Soon his body was as warm as toast. He walked away to collect the children. Mr. Potato Head felt happy."

Mr. Potato Head: "Cranky is really useful."

Narrator: "Puffed Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "Ah! But then so am I!"

Narrator: "And he chuffed happily away to deliver more hot drinks to the snowy villages."

Strength

You've got to have strength, strength to make the feet go stomp.
Strength, strength to lift things off the ground.
You've got to have strength, strength to get you to the top.
Strength will keep you going when you want to stop.
You'll go that extra mile when you're hauling freight.
Or go a little faster when you might be late.
And if there's heavy metal lying on the path,
King Sombra's so strong, he'll clear it every time.
You've got to have strength, strength to make the feet go stomp.
Strength, strength to lift things off the ground.
You've got to have strength, strength to get you to the top.
Strength will keep you going when you want to stop.
You'll give that little extra when the going's tough.
Strength will keep you puffing when you've had enough.
Just remember as you're speeding down the road.
Strength not only takes you there, it brings you back.
(Instrumental break)
You've got to have strength, strength to make the feet go stomp.

Woody the Brave

Narrator: "Woody loves to puff through the hills in Ponyville.

His favorite place is a pretty village high up in the mountains. But in the winter, the mountain village gets very cold. So it's important that the toys deliver coal to the village. The houses must be cozy and warm.

One morning, Buzz Lightyear was delivering his empty wagons to the incline. The winch brings empty wagons up the incline, and lowers full wagons down to be delivered to the villagers across the town. Buzz was frightened about the incline. It was very high. So Buzz shunted his wagons into place and then he backed away quickly."

Woody: "You are such a scaredy engine!"

Narrator: "Laughed Woody."

Buzz Lightyear: "I'm not scared of anything!"

Narrator: "Woody thought he was the bravest toy in the world. But then, the winch's coupling broke."

Woody: "Oh, no!"

Narrator: "Woody ran away as fast as he could. Woody raced right pass Spike who was waiting on the main road. Woody switched paths, and the wagons rolled past him. But they were heading straight for Slinky. Slinky shouted loudly to the signalman. He changed the points."

(Wagons roll into a siding)

Narrator: "Soon, Doc Top arrived."

Doc Top: "Well done, Slinky!"

Narrator: "Doc Top said."

Doc: "You are a really brave toy."

Slinky: "Thank you, sir."

Narrator: "Said Slinky proudly. But Woody wasn't happy."

Woody: "I want to be the bravest."

Narrator: "Huffed Woody."

Woody: "I want to show everyone that I'm the bravest toy of all."

Narrator: "The next day, Woody was shunting wagons onto the incline."

Woody: "How can I prove I'm the bravest?"

Narrator: "He huffed to himself. Suddenly, Woody had an idea."

Woody: "If I went up the hill on the winch,"

Narrator: "He puffed."

Woody: "Then everyone will see how brave I am."

Narrator: "The winch hooked onto Woody's wagon coupling. Woody was still hooked up. But he didn't help the workmen. Slowly, Woody was pulled up the hill. When Buzz Lightyear and Mr. Potato Head arrived at the bottom of the incline, they gasped."

Buzz Lightyear: "Look where Woody is!"

Narrator: "Puffed Buzz."

Mr. Potato Head: "That is the bravest thing to do."

Narrator: "Chuffed Mr. Potato Head. Mr. Potato Head cheered and Buzz blew his whistle. Woody felt prouder than ever."

Woody: "Look at me! Look at me!"

Narrator: "He puffed. At last, Woody reached the top of the incline."

Woody: "I'm the bravest toy in all the world!"

Narrator: "He called. But Woody was too heavy and the winch broke."

Woody: "Wee!"

Narrator: "Puffed Woody as he raced down the hill. But when he got to the bottom, he couldn't stop. Woody raced all the way to the Transfer Yards. He raced past the very surprised Spike, and straight into the snow bank.

Doc Top was very cross."

Doc Top: "Woody, you have broken the winch!"

Narrator: "He said."

Doc Top: "The mountain village will get no coal today and it's very cold!"

Narrator: "Woody felt very bad."

Woody: "The village won't be cozy and warm."

Narrator: "Puffed Woody sadly."

Woody: "And it's all my fault."

Narrator: "Suddenly, Woody had an idea."

Woody: "There's only one thing to do."

Narrator: "He puffed."

Woody: "I will have to collect the coal myself."

Narrator: "Woody arrived at the top of the incline, and found Buzz and Mr. Potato Head had brought the supplies to repair the winch."

Mr. Potato Head: "Are you going to take the wagons down the incline without the winch?"

Narrator: "Asked Mr. Potato Head excitedly."

Buzz Lightyear: "That would be really brave."

Narrator: "Chuffed Buzz. Woody wanted to show Buzz and Mr. Potato Head how brave he was, but then he thought of the mountain village."

Woody: "No."

Narrator: "Said Woody firmly."

Woody: "I'm going to take the coal to the village."

Narrator: "So he puffed slowly and carefully back down the steep track.

No one was there to see him working hard. No one cheered or blew their whistles. But it didn't matter. What matter was getting the coal to the village.

It was late when Woody arrived at the village station. The villagers were very pleased to see Woody. And they were pleased to have coal to make their homes cozy and warm. They cheered and cheered and cheered. Woody was so proud it made his feet tingle."

Woody: "This is much better than showing everyone how brave I am."

Narrator: "He puffed. And it certainly was."

Big Strong Filthy Rich

Narrator: "Winter was coming to Ponyville. Everyone was getting ready for the cold weather. Spike and Rarity delivered coal. Pipsqueak collected wagons of firewood. And Igneous Rock Pie was building a shed for his cows to keep them warm."

Hoity Toity: "Igneous Rock Pie needs lots of bricks, iron and concrete."

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity."

Narrator: "I need a strong animal to fetch them."

Filthy Rich: "I can do it, sir."

Narrator: "Puffed Filthy Rich."

Big Macintosh: "You're not as strong as I am."

Narrator: "Puffed Big Macintosh."

Big Macintosh: "I'll do the job, sir."

Narrator: "Big Mac and Filthy Rich were almost the same size. But Big Mac always boasted he was the strongest. Hoity Toity thought for a moment."

Hoity Toity: "Big Mac, you can do it. Filthy Rich, you can deliver the empty wagons."

Filthy Rich: "Empty wagons?"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Filthy Rich."

Spike: "Never mind, Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "We know you're big and strong."

Pipsqueak: "You could pull ten wagons of sand, couldn't you?"

Narrator: "Peeped Pipsqueak."

Filthy Rich: "Yes, I could."

Narrator: "Chuffed Filthy Rich."

Rarity: "You could pull twenty wagons of coal."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Rarity."

Filthy Rich: "I suppose so."

Narrator: "Said Filthy Rich."

Spike: "You could pull fifty wagons."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Spike."

Spike: "Of iron and steel, because you're Big Strong Filthy Rich!"

Big Macintosh: "Big Strong Filthy Rich?"

Narrator: "Huffed Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "What nonsense!"

Spike: "You'll see."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Big Macintosh: "Pah!"

Narrator: "Big Mac wheeshed grandly. And he set off to fetch the bricks, concrete and iron for Igneous Rock Pie.

Filthy Rich had deliver his empty wagons."

Filthy Rich: "How can I show Big Mac that I'm big and strong?"

Narrator: "He said sadly. Then Filthy Rich saw Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "Look, Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Puffed Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "If Big Mac sees you pull five heavy wagons, he'll see how strong you are."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich backed up. He pulled the wagons out of the siding."

Pipsqueak: "Look how strong Filthy Rich is, Big Mac!"

Narrator: "Peeped Pipsqueak."

Big Macintosh: "Put those wagons back!"

Narrator: "Big Mac wheeshed."

Big Macintosh: "Those are for Igneous Rock Pie. I am collecting them later."

Pipsqueak: "He's not as strong as you are, Big Strong Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Puffed Pipsqueak. Filthy Rich smiled."

Filthy Rich: "I like being Big Strong Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich thought. Filthy Rich saw Spike waiting up ahead."

Spike: "Look, Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "There are lots of heavy wagons. Here comes Big Mac!"

Narrator: "Whistled Spike."

Filthy Rich: "And here comes Big Strong Filthy Rich!"

Narrator: "Hooted Filthy Rich.

Then, there was trouble. The wagons were very heavy. Once Filthy Rich had started them rolling, they wouldn't stopped."

Filthy Rich: "Help!"

Narrator: "Cried Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "Whoa!"

(CRASH!)

Filthy Rich: (Groans)

Narrator: "Shining Armor brought Bulk Biceps to lift Filthy Rich back onto the path. And he also brought Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Filthy Rich,"

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Take those hay bales back to where you found them, one wagon at a time!"

Filthy Rich: "Yes, sir."

Filthy Rich: "Wheeshed Filthy Rich sadly. Filthy Rich had never felt so miserable.

Big Macintosh had delivered the last wagon to Igneous Rock Pie's new shed."

Hoity Toity: "Now, Big Mac,"

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You can go and collect Igneous Rock Pie's cows."

Narrator: Igneous Rock Pie's men had loaded the cows into Big Mac's wagons. Big Mac was feeling very proud of himself."

Big Macintosh: "Pah! Poor old Filthy Rich!"

Narrator: "He laughed."

Big Macintosh: "He's not Big Strong Filthy Rich at all."

Narrator: "Big Mac set off. He was laughing so much, he didn't see that the wagon doors hadn't been shut properly."

Big Macintosh: "Hello, Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Whistled Big Mac."

Filthy Rich: "Hello, Big Mac."

Narrator: "Hooted Filthy Rich. And then he noticed something."

Filthy Rich: "All the cows are leaving your wagons, Big Mac!"

Narrator: "Filthy Rich puffed."

Big Macintosh: "Oh, no!"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Filthy Rich."

Big Macintosh: "What am I going to do?"

Narrator: "Then Filthy Rich saw something else. Some of the cows were eating the hay bales on his wagon. Suddenly, an idea flew into Filthy Rich's head.

Filthy Rich chuffed slowly along. The hungry cows followed him. They wanted to eat the hay from his wagon. They followed Filthy Rich all the way to their new shed.

Igneous Rock Pie was very pleased.

That night, Spike and Pipsqueak spoke to Filthy Rich."

Spike: "We're sorry we got you into trouble."

Narrator: "Spike said."

Filthy Rich: "I shouldn't have wanted to be Big Strong Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Hooted Filthy Rich."

Rarity: "Now you're even better."

Narrator: "Whistled Rarity."

Rarity: "You really are Very Helpful Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich smiled."

Filthy Rich: "Even the strongest horse needs a little help sometimes."

Narrator: "Chuffed Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "Don't you agree, Big Mac?"

Narrator: "Big Mac's face went as red as a signal."

Spike's Day Off

Narrator: "The animals in Ponyville were always very busy. They liked being busy, and no animal liked being busy more than Spike. But sometimes, Spike also liked to have a day off.

One autumn morning, Hoity Toity came to the library. He had important news."

Hoity Toity: "A new pony has arrived in Ponyville."

Narrator: "He boomed."

Hoity Toity: "Her name is Coco Pommel. You must all help her get to know the town. And Spike..."

Narrator: "Added Hoity Toity,"

Hoity Toity: "You have been working very hard. Today, you can have a day off."

Narrator: "Spike was very pleased."

Spike: "First, I will have a long bath."

Narrator: "Spike chuffed cheerfully."

Spike: "Then, I shall go to the Crystal Empire."

Narrator: "On his way to the Bathhouse, Spike saw a pony he'd never seen before. The pony was huffing and puffing."

Spike: "Hello!"

Narrator: "Spike shouted."

Spike: "You must be Coco Pommel. What's the matter?"

Coco Pommel: "These changelings are too troublesome. I can't move them!"

Spike: "It's my day off,"

Narrator: "Whistled Spike,"

Spike: "But I'll help you."

Narrator: "This made Coco very happy.

Coco watched Spike biff and bump the changelings into line."

Spike: "All done!"

Narrator: "Huffed Spike. It was hard work, and he was tired."

Coco Pommel: "Thank you, Spike."

Narrator: "Oiled Coco. And she watched Spike chuff away.

Soon, Spike was covered in bubbles!"

Spike: "Shiny and bright, shiny and bright, that's what I'll be to start my day right!"

Narrator: "He chirped cheerily.

Coco wasn't cheerful. Coco was lazy. She didn't want to deliver his changelings carrying tiles. Then, she saw Spike. Coco had an idea. She would ask Spike to help her again."

Coco: "Help! Help!"

Narrator: "Coco called weakly. Spike slowed down."

Coco: "I don't know how to get to the schoolhouse."

Narrator: "Coco groaned."

Spike: "Don't worry, Coco!"

Narrator: "Spike puffed."

Spike: "I'll show you the way!"

Narrator: "Coco smiled. Her trick had worked!

So Spike showed Coco the way to the junction."

Spike: "The schoolhouse is further along that track."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Spike. Coco watched Spike puff away. Coco wanted Spike to take her changelings for her. Suddenly, Coco had another idea. She screamed for help again and again.

Spike heard the noise. He was worried. Coco watched Spike come back. Her new trick had worked. Now, Coco would pretend to have something wrong with her."

Coco Pommel: "Help!"

Narrator: "Coco cried."

Coco Pommel: "I've injured myself. You'll have to take these changelings for me."

Narrator: "Spike knew it was his day off, but he still wanted to help."

Spike: "Don't worry."

Narrator: "Puffed Spike."

Spike: "I'll find another animal to help you, on my way to the Crystal Empire."

Narrator: "Coco was cross. She wanted Spike to take her changelings. Coco decided to leave her changelings."

Coco Pommel: "Then, another animal will have to take them!"

Narrator: "She thought.

So, Coco raced way. She didn't care about the tiles, she didn't care about Spike, all she cared about was getting far away from her work. Her legs were running faster and faster. Then, there was trouble."

CRASH!

Coco Pommel: "Help!"

Narrator: "Called Coco."

Coco Pommel: "Help! Help!"

Narrator: "But this time, there was no one there to help.

Spike arrived at a signal. Pipsqueak had some important news."

Pipsqueak: "The workmen are waiting for Coco to bring the tiles to repair the school roof. The children can't go to school until it's mended, and no one knows where Coco is!"

Spike: "I do."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Spike."

Spike: "She's injured herself. I must go back to help her right away."

Narrator: "Spike quickly found Coco. Spike was very surprised."

Spike: "I thought you injured yourself at the junction!"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Spike."

Spike: "And where are the changelings with the tiles?"

Narrator: "Coco looked very shame-faced."

Coco Pommel: "I tricked you."

Narrator: "Said Coco quietly."

Coco Pommel: "There was nothing wrong with me at the junction. I just didn't want to work with those changelings. I'm a really lazy pony."

Narrator: "Moaned Coco.

Coco's legs wobbled, and her hair was shedding. Now, Spike could see Coco really was in trouble! So Spike decided to help one more time."

Spike: "I'll help you back onto the path."

Narrator: "Spike puffed."

Spike: "Then, I'll be your back dragon. That way, we'll get the tiles to the schoolhouse in double quick time!"

Narrator: "Coco smiled her biggest smile ever!

Coco and Spike finally pulled into the schoolhouse station. Hoity Toity was waiting."

Hoity Toity: "Coco, you have caused confusion and delay!"

Narrator: "He boomed. Coco felt bad."

Coco Pommel: "Spike has shown me that being a really useful animal is much better than being a really lazy one!"

Narrator: "Coco wheezed.

Hoity Toity was pleased. Spike was pleased, too."

Coco Pommel: "Thank you, Spike!"

Narrator: "Coco hooted."

Coco Pommel: "From now on, I will try to be a really useful pony!"

Seeing the Sights

Narrator: "There are lots of wonderful sights to see in Ponyville.

One summer's day, Spike was given a very special job."

Hoity Toity: "Spike,"

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You are to collect some very important visitors from the mainland. They are arriving at Ponyville Docks."

Spike: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Said Spike happily."

Spike: "I will show them all the sights in Ponyville."

Narrator: "Spike puffed towards Ponyville Docks.

Spike pulled up at the gangplank."

Spike: "Welcome aboard!"

Narrator: "He said."

Spike: "I will show you all the wonderful sights of Ponyville!"

Narrator: "Just then, Big Macintosh arrived."

Big Macintosh: "I should be showing the sights to the important visitors."

Narrator: "He sniffed."

Spike: "Why?"

Narrator: "Asked Spike."

Big Macintosh: "Because,"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "I could show them round much more quickly than you. Then they would see everything there is to see in Ponyville."

Narrator: "Spike was cross."

Spike: "I can show them all the sights just as quickly as you can!"

Narrator: "He whistled."

Spike: "Just you wait and see!"

Narrator: "Spike heard doors slam."

Spike: "Everyone's ready."

Narrator: "He thought. And he chuffed away as quickly as he could."

Spike: "So much to see, so much to see, let's get a move on, count on me."

Narrator: "Then there was trouble. Spike had left some of the visitors behind!

Later, Spike had to wait at a signal. Angel the Rabbit walked up. He had picked up the visitors Spike had left behind. Angel yelled. But the signal had changed and Spike puffed away. Spike was in a hurry."

Angel: "Silly dragon!"

Narrator: "Parped Angel."

Angel: "I will have to chase after you!"

Narrator: "The children traveling with Angel thought a chase was great fun.

Spike arrived at Black Loch."

Spike: "Everyone out to see the seals."

Narrator: "He called."

Spike: "Hurry up, hurry up!"

Narrator: "The visitors took their cameras to see Black Loch. Spike had to wait. He didn't like waiting. He had to show the visitors all the sights."

Spike: "Otherwise,"

Narrator: "He thought."

Spike: "I won't be as fast as Big Mac.

Time to go!"

Narrator: "He peeped loudly. Spike heard a door slam."

Spike: "Everyone must be on board."

Narrator: "He thought. And Spike chuffed away as fast as he could. But Spike had left more of the visitors behind.

Soon, Spike arrived at the Scottish Castle."

Spike: "Everyone out!"

Narrator: "He peeped."

Spike: "Hurry up, hurry up!"

Narrator: "Then Spike had to wait again. He blew some fire. And he started to worry."

Spike: "We'll never see everything if we don't hurry up!"

Narrator: "Spike wheeshed."

Spiike: "Everyone back on board, please!"

Narrator: "Just then, Big Macintosh walked in."

Big Macintosh: "Flatten my head."

Narrator: "Sniffed Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "You haven't seen many sights!"

Spike: "Yes, we have! And we're going to see more!"

Narrator: "Huffed Spike. He was cross. He puffed away as quickly as he could, but more visitors were left behind.

Spike walked into the Fishing Village."

Spike: "Here's the next sight!"

Narrator: "He puffed."

Spike: "Everybody out, please!"

Narrator: "But Spike couldn't hear any doors opening. He was puzzled. Just then, Angel arrived."

Spike: "What's happening?"

Narrator: "Asked Spike."

Angel: "No one's getting out, Spike."

Narrator: "Said Angel."

Angel: "Because no one is left on board!"

Narrator: "Spike was surprised."

Spike: "Fire and scales!"

Narrator: "Gasped Spike."

Angel: "You were in so much of a hurry, you left them all behind."

Narrator: "Spike was upset."

Spike: "I must go back and pick everyone up!"

Narrator: "But first he collected the visitors from Angel the Rabbit.

And he raced back to the castle. He picked up his passengers.

And puffed quickly back to Black Loch.

With all the visitors on board, Spike set off again.

Spike had to stop at a junction. He looked at the view of the sea. It was beautiful."

Spike: "I wish we could just stay here all day."

Narrator: "Spike wheeshed."

Spike: "There are so many things to do."

Narrator: "The visitors looked out of the windows. Their faces smiled when they saw blue sea and the golden yellow sand. Suddenly, Spike had an idea."

Spike: "We will stay here all day!"

Narrator: "He whistled.

The visitors had a lovely time. Making sand castles, riding donkeys and eating ice creams. Spike was very happy."

Big Macintosh: "You won't see all the sights eating ice creams!"

Narrator: "Sniffed Big Mac."

Spike: "It's better to see one place properly than lots of places in a hurry."

Narrator: "Spike chuffed happily. And all the visitors agreed."

Animal Roll Call

They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight,
Arranging changelings and carrying freight.
Red and white and brown and purple,
They're the Really Useful crew.
All with different roles to play
'round the Library or far away,
Down the hills and round the bends,
Spike and his friends.

Spike, he's the cheeky one,
Cranky is vain but lots of fun.
Pipsqueak delivers the mail on time,
Big Macintosh thunders down the path.
Rarity really knows her stuff,
Filthy Rich pulls and heaves and hauls.
Shining Armor wants to help and share,
Braeburn, well, let's say, he's yellow.
