Transcript

Rarity's New Rabbits

Narrator: "It was a splendid day in Ponyville. Spike was taking Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle back to the library. A new unicorn had arrived and he wanted to say hello. The unicorn was beautiful with a shiny mane and a gleaming horn."

Hoity Toity: "Spike, meet Rarity."

Spike: "Hello, Rarity."

Rarity: "Hello, Spike."

Hoity Toity: "Rarity, collect your stuff. You and your driver must learn the line."

Rarity: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "She answered. Spike was impressed.

Later, the only fillies Rarity's driver could find were Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle."

Rarity's Driver: "These aren't your sort of ponies."

Narrator: "He said."

Rarity's Driver: "But I'll suppose they'll do."

Narrator: "Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle felt insulted."

Sweetie Belle: "How dare he say we'll do."

Narrator: "Sweetie Belle whispered.

Rarity walked carefully along the road."

Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle: "How dare he say we'll do, how dare he say we'll do."

Narrator: "Grumbled the fillies.

Spike saw Rarity coming down the path, with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle."

Rarity: "Hello, Spike."

Narrator: "Rarity called. But Spike was cross."

Spike: "Those are my fillies. Give them back!"

Narrator: "But Rarity didn't hear Spike and she went on her way.

Then, Shining Armor passed and Pipsqueak. When Rarity whistled hello, the animals didn't whistle back. Rarity couldn't understand why they were so unfriendly. She was upset.

Later, Hoity Toity spoke to Spike."

Hoity Toity: "I want you to go to the docks to pick up new rabbits."

Spike: "New rabbits? But sir,"

Hoity Toity: "Really useful animals don't argue."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity.

Spike didn't want new rabbits. He wanted Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle back.

When Dr. Hooves saw Rarity return to the library, he was surprised."

Dr. Hooves: "Those are Spike's fillies."

Rarity: "So that's why he looked cross."

Narrator: "Exclaimed Rarity."

Rarity: "I'll go and apologize."

Spike: "Don't want new rabbits, don't want new rabbits!"

Narrator: "Chuffed Spike.

Later, Rarity was still looking for Spike when a signalman flagged her down."

The Signalman: "Dr. Hooves hasn't cleared his signalbox."

Narrator: "He told Rarity's driver."

The Signalman: "Please, go and see what's wrong."

Narrator: "Rarity could see that Dr. Hooves had hurt himself on the crossing. Then Rarity heard Spike's whistle."

Rarity: "Oh dear!"

Narrator: "Spike could see Dr. Hooves. He knew he could never stop in time."

Dr. Hooves: "Help!"

Narrator: "Rarity charged towards Dr. Hooves and with a huge effort, pushed him across the road, just in time."

Dr. Hooves: "Thanks."

Rarity: "I did it."

Narrator: "Later, Hoity Toity praised Rarity."

Hoity Toity: "Well done. You were a very brave pony."

Dr. Hooves: "The bravest."

Narrator: "Chuffed Dr. Hooves."

Hoity Toity: "It gives me great pleasure to present you with two new rabbits."

Rarity: "Thank you, sir."

Narrator: "Replied Rarity."

Rarity: "Spike, I'm sorry I took Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle."

Spike: "And I'm sorry I was so cross."

Narrator: "Replied Spike."

Rarity: "Friends?"

Spike: "Friends."

Narrator: "Rarity loves her rabbits and being part of Hoity Toity's town."

Pipsqueak Gets It Right

Narrator: "At harvest time, the air is filled with the smell of fresh fruit of vegetables. The animals happily deliver their loads to market.

But one day, mist and rain swirled down Braeburn's line. Pipsqueak was delivering a load of fresh tomatoes.

Suddenly, he felt a big bump."

Pipsqueak: "Bust my hooves!"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak cried."

Pipsqueak: "What was that?"

Narrator: "The guard put out the warning flags, while Pipsqueak's driver inspected the path."

Pipsqueak's Driver: "The earth's crumbling."

Narrator: "He said."

Pipsqueak: "We must tell Hoity Toity."

Narrator: "Decided Pipsqueak. Pipsqueak puffed back as fast as he could."

Pipsqueak: "I've got important news! The path on Braeburn's line is wobbly!"

Big Macintosh: "Ha!"

Narrator: "Huffed Big Macintosh."

Big Macintosh: "Old and wobbly, just like Braeburn. That's not news! Can't stop to listen to your silly chatter!"

Pipsqueak: "Big Mac never listens to me."

Narrator: "Muttered Pipsqueak.

Next he spoke to Hoity Toity."

Pipsqueak: "Sir! Sir!"

Hoity Toity: "Not now, Pipsqueak. Spike, you have to collect a prize bull. He's at the farm on Braeburn's line."

Spike: "Yes, sir."

Pipsqueak: "But that path is wobbly!"

Narrator: "Cried Percy."

Hoity Toity: "It is safe enough."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Spike: "Bye, Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "Nobody ever listens to me."

Narrator: "Spike was carefully chuffing through the rain.

Soon, he had collected the farmer's bull, and was on his way back. The rain had made the tracks more wobbly than ever.

Suddenly, there was a deep rumbling sound. Spike's driver applied the brakes, but it was too late!"

(Crash!)

Spike: "Fire and scales!"

Narrator: "Cried Spike."

Spike: "We're stuck!"

Narrator: "And they were.

Late that night, Spike still hadn't returned. Pipsqueak was worried."

Pipsqueak: "Spike is in trouble."

Narrator: "He said. Big Mac and Cranky took no notice."

Big Macintosh: "Worry hooves!"

Narrator: "Huffed Big Mac."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Fussy head!"

Narrator: "Said Cranky."

Pipsqueak: "Please?"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak asked his driver."

Pipsqueak: "Can we find Spike?"

Pipsqueak's Driver: "Right away!"

Narrator: "Said his driver.

Pipsqueak was nervous, but his lamp shone brightly in the dark. The path creaked and wobbled, but Pipsqueak pressed on."

Spike: "Pipsqueak!"

Narrator: "Cried Spike. Spike was happy to see his friend."

Pipsqueak: "I'll have you out of there in no time."

Narrator: "Said Pipsqueak.

Pipsqueak puffed and pulled, and pulled and puffed, and finally Spike and his driver were free."

Spike: "Oh, thank you."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Pipsqueak: "I'm glad to be useful."

Narrator: "Smiled Pipsqueak.

It was dawn before the path was cleared. Then Pipsqueak and Spike made their way back home."

Pipsqueak: "Spike is here!"

Narrator: "Whistled Pipsqueak."

Spike: "Pipsqueak saved the day!"

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Bull: "Hmm!"

Narrator: "Agreed the bull."

Hoity Toity: "I'm sorry, Pipsqueak."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "We must do a better job of listening to you in the future."

Narrator: "Pipsqueak was pleased."

Snips, Snails and Lucky Clover

Narrator: "Lucky Clover is an earth pony who works in Ponyville.

One day, he was on his way to the quarry. He had a special job to do for Hoity Toity."

Spike: "Hello."

Narrator: "Whistled Spike."

Spike: "Where are you going?"

Lucky Clover: "To the quarry."

Narrator: "Lucky Clover chuffed happily."

Spike: "Watch out for Snips and Snails, the unicorns."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "They love to make mischief."

Lucky Clover: "I won't let young rascals rattle me."

Spike: "You don't know the unicorns like I do."

Narrator: "Warned Spike.

Lucky Clover arrived at the quarry. He went to work with Twilight Sparkle and the unicorns."

Twilight Sparkle: "I'm afraid the changelings are in a mess."

Narrator: "Said Twilight."

Lucky Clover: "Not to worry. We'll soon sort them out."

Narrator: "Snips and Snails were delighted."

Snails: "Now we'll have some fun."

Narrator: "Whistled Snails."

Snips: "Yeah, we'll have the old body in a spin."

Narrator: "Said Snips.

Lucky Clover liked helping Twilight, but he didn't like the way the unicorns were behaving one bit.

Snips banged his changelings hard. Some rocks fell onto the path."

Lucky Clover: "Do it right!"

Narrator: "Lucky Clover ordered. Snips didn't like being ordered about by an earth pony."

Snips: "Don't interfere!"

Narrator: "He snapped back.

Then Snails pushed his changelings to block the path. Lucky Clover was stuck."

Lucky Clover: "Out of my way!"

Narrator: "Said Lucky Clover. But Snails just grinned.

The next day, the men were blasting rocks."

Lucky Clover: "Wait for the all clear signal."

Narrator: "Lucky Clover called to Snips and Snails."

Lucky Clover: "Do it right!"

Snips: "There he goes again!"

Narrator: "Puffed Snips."

Snips: "'Do it right, from morning till night!'"

Snails: "Keep your head out of our quarry!"

Narrator: "Huffed Snails.

The quarry master sent Snips and Snails to collect a rock crusher from the harbor.

Lucky Clover was left in peace with Twilight.

The unicorns were still thinking about Lucky Clover."

Snips: "He's just an old fusspot!"

Narrator: "Said Snips."

Snails: "He's always saying 'Do it right!'."

Snips: "Well, the next thing he tells us to do,"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Snips."

Snips: "We'll do it wrong."

Snips and Snails: (Laugh)

Narrator: "They laughed.

Snips and Snails went back to the quarry.

The rock crusher was heavy. It shook the path as they went."

Lucky Clover: "The blasting has made that rock face unsafe."

Narrator: "Warned Lucky Clover."

Lucky Clover: "Don't go near it. Do it right."

Narrator: "But the unicorns took no notice of Lucky Clover, and were very naughty.

As roughly as they could, they rattled the load towards the cliff."

Lucky Clover: "Look out!"

Narrator: "Cried Lucky Clover, and he rushed forward, and he bumped Snips and Snails out of the way. His driver jumped to safety as the rocks began to fall. But Lucky Clover was covered in rocks right up to his head.

It took a long time to dig him out, and no one worked harder to help than Snips and Snails.

At last, Lucky Clover was free. Snips and Snails felt ashamed."

Snips: "We shouldn't have been so naughty."

Narrator: "Said Snips."

Snails: "We're very sorry."

Narrator: "Added Snails."

Lucky Clover: "Good."

Narrator: "Smiled Lucky Clover."

Lucky Clover: "From now on, we can all do it right together."

The Old Bridge/The Old Iron Bridge

Narrator: "Buzz Lightyear and Woody work on the most beautiful path in Ponyville. They loved to puff through the forest, and over the rivers.

An old bridge crosses one of the rivers. Some of its beams were rotten and had now been damaged by the storm.

Woody chuffed happily along.

He didn't see the broken road until it was too late.

He dangled dangerously above the water."

Woody: "Help!"

Narrator: "But Buzz soon pulled him to safety.

A few days later, Hoity Toity came to the sheds."

Hoity Toity: "The old bridge has been mended, but the worker's mutant toys have been left there. Woody, I need you to collect them."

Woody: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Chuffed Woody. He didn't want to go on the bridge again.

When Woody arrived he saw the mutant toys on the other side. He started to cross, but stopped. He looked down into the rushing water. Woody was scared. He remembered what had happened before."

Woody's Driver: "Come on, Woody."

Narrator: "Called his driver."

Woody's Driver: "The bridge is safe now."

Narrator: "But Woody wouldn't cross the bridge, and he and his driver went home instead."

Buzz Lightyear's Driver: "We'll pick up the mutant toys."

Narrator: "Said Buzz's driver."

Buzz Lightyear: "But if you don't cross the bridge soon,"

Narrator: "Said Buzz."

Buzz Lightyear: "Hoity Toity will be cross."

Narrator: "Now Buzz Lightyear had to take Woody's loads as well as his own. Each morning, he collected the mutant toys and puffed across the bridge with his heavy load.

Finally, Hoity Toity came to see Woody."

Hoity Toity: "If you won't cross the old bridge, you must stay here and arrange mutant toys."

Narrator: "He scolded."

Hoity Toity: "I can't have toys that won't do as they're told."

Woody: "Sorry, sir."

Narrator: "Said Woody sadly.

The next morning, Buzz took Woody's heavy loads as usual. Then he puffed and heaved through the countryside towards the bridge.

He puffed so hard that he ran out of strength."

Buzz Lightyear: "Bother!"

Narrator: "The yard manager spread the news."

Yard Manager: "Buzz has run out of strength."

Woody: "We must go help him."

Narrator: "Said Woody bravely. He set off immediately.

Woody was scared, but determined. He rolled slowly up to the edge. The bridge creaked loudly. The river seemed deeper than ever."

Woody: "I must rescue my friend."

Narrator: "Whispered Woody.

He chuffed slowly onto the bridge. The bridge groaned as he rolled forward, but Woody puffed on and on, until finally, his driver coupled up and pulled Buzz to safety."

Buzz Lightyear: "Thank you."

Narrator: "Said Buzz Lightyear."

Buzz Lightyear: "You were very brave to help me."

Narrator: "Woody is no longer afraid of the bridge, and he loves his journeys more than ever."

Shining Armor's Brass Band

Narrator: "Summer is a busy time in Ponyville. Vacationers have so much to see and do. There are trips to the seaside, balloon rides in the country and the brass band playing in the park.

One morning, Shining Armor was in a hurry. He didn't even stop to say hello to Noteworthy.

Spike was pleased to see Shining Armor."

Spike: "What's up? Your smile's as broad as your horn."

Shining Armor: "I'm on my way to pick up the brass band."

Narrator: "Replied Shining Armor."

Shining Armor: "The concert is tomorrow night."

Spike: "Don't crack your horn."

Narrator: "Teased Spike.

Shining Armor couldn't wait to hear the brass band play their wonderful music.

He was so excited about meeting the brass band that he didn't notice the giant crane. It was unloading a huge ship's boiler.

Suddenly, the crane swung the boiler and knocked Shining Armor right off the path.

Gustave had been watching."

Gustave Le Grand: "You useless little ponies are always in the way."

Narrator: "Poor Shining Armor.

Hoity Toity came immediately."

Hoity Toity: "We will take you to the fitters yard, and Angel will have to meet the brass band instead of you."

Narrator: "Shining Armor was sad.

That night a raging storm rolled in. The fitters worked through the night trying to mend Shining Armor. The rain pelted down. Now Shining Armor felt sad and very damped.

Morning came, and Hoity Toity arrived."

Shining Armor: "Please, sir."

Narrator: "Pleaded Shining Armor."

Shining Armor: "Will the fitters be finished soon?"

Hoity Toity: "Not soon enough, and the band can't wait. I'm sorry Shining Armor, Angel will take them to the concert."

Narrator: "Shining Armor felt worse than ever.

Angel collected the brass band and set off immediately.

He bumped cheerfully along the country roads. But there was trouble ahead. Last night's storm had flooded the road. Angel's driver decided to take a shortcut.

But it was very muddy. Angel's feet did not like the mud. They scooted, they skated, they slid, they slipped."

Angel: "I'm stuck!"

Narrator: "He groaned.

Angel shook his body, but his feet spun round and round. He couldn't budge. The brass band were worried."

Leader: "We mustn't be late for our concert. Tune up your tuba."

Narrator: "Cried the leader of the band."

Leader: "We'll call for help."

Narrator: "By now, Shining Armor was mended and hooked up to his buffaloes."

Shining Armor's Driver: "I can hear music."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Shining Armor: "That's not music."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Shining Armor."

Shining Armor: "That's an alarm!"

Narrator: "And they raced off to the rescue.

The musicians were delighted to see their old friend, so was Angel."

Shining Armor: "I'll get you to the concert in time!"

Narrator: "Shining Armor cried."

Bandsmen: "Thank you."

Narrator: "Said the worried bandsmen.

That night, the concert was a great success. Everyone loved the music, especially Shining Armor."

What's the Matter with Filthy Rich?

Narrator: "It was the end of a busy day. The animals had been working hard. They were feeling pleased and proud, except Filthy Rich. He was feeling ill."

Spike: "What's the matter with you, Filthy Rich?"

Narrator: "Spike asked."

Filthy Rich: "My body's grumbling."

Spike: "Maybe it's grumbling at you."

Narrator: "Teased Spike."

Filthy Rich: "That's not funny!"

Narrator: "Hissed Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "You just don't care."

Narrator: "But Rarity saw that Filthy Rich was leaving some fur behind. She was worried.

The next morning, Hoity Toity arrived."

Hoity Toity: "Spike, Pipsqueak and Filthy Rich, I want you to collect some changelings and take them to the docks."

Spike and Pipsqueak: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Cried Spike and Pipsqueak. Filthy Rich watched the animals puff away. He didn't feel well."

Filthy Rich: "Useful animals don't complain."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich muttered.

He was leaving fur everywhere as he chuffed towards the coaling plant. When Rarity saw this, she was more worried than ever.

Then, Spike and Pipsqueak overtook Filthy Rich."

Pipsqueak: "Hurry up, Filthy Rich!"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak tooted."

Filthy Rich: "I can't go any faster."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich chuffed miserably."

Spike: "You're just being lazy."

Narrator: "Teased Spike.

By the time Spike and Pipsqueak reached the coaling plant, they had a naughty plan."

Spike: "Please, sir."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "Filthy Rich wants to take more changelings."

Pipsqueak: "He is bigger."

Narrator: "Added Pipsqueak. The yard manager agreed.

Meanwhile, Rarity was talking to Hoity Toity."

Rarity: "I'm worried about Filthy Rich."

Hoity Toity: "Hmm, perhaps he's shedding."

Narrator: "Replied Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You better check."

Narrator: "By the time Filthy Rich reached the coaling plant, Spike had already left."

Filthy Rich: "Why did Spike and Pipsqueak leave me so many changelings?"

Narrator: "Moaned Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "They know I'm not feeling well."

Filthy Rich's Driver: "We'll still have to take them."

Narrator: "Said his driver.

Filthy Rich chuffed and puffed and pulled his long line of changelings."

Filthy Rich's Driver: "You can do it, Filthy Rich!"

Narrator: "Encouraged his driver.

But it was no use. Filthy Rich ground to a halt.

Just then, Rarity arrived."

Rarity: "Are you all right, Filthy Rich?"

Filthy Rich: "No."

Narrator: "Moaned Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "I'm stuck."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich's fireman uncoupled the changelings. Rarity changed paths, and then hooked up to Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "Oh, thank you, Rarity."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Filthy Rich.

Rarity and Filthy Rich puffed into the docks."

Hoity Toity: "Well done, Rarity!"

Narrator: "Said Sir Topham Hatt."

Rarity: "Thank you sir."

Narrator: "Then he spoke to Filthy Rich."

Hoity Toity: "You were brave, Filthy Rich. You aren't well, but you still tried to pull the heavy changelings."

Narrator: "Spike and Pipsqueak felt ashamed."

Spike: "We're sorry, Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Pipsqueak: "We didn't think you were really sick."

Narrator: "Added Pipsqueak."

Hoity Toity: "Go back and collect Filthy Rich's changelings."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity sternly."

Spike: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Whispered Spike.

Soon, Filthy Rich was mended and back at work."

Rarity: "You're looking so much better."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Filthy Rich: "Well, they helped with my fur. But they didn't even look at my face, my tail, my squeaky feet."

Narrator: "Rarity smiled."

Rarity: "All in good time, Filthy Rich."

Narrator: "Poor Filthy Rich."

Cranky and the Queen of Ponyville

Narrator: "The animals in Ponyville want to be responsible, reliable and really useful. They are happiest when Hoity Toity gives important work to do.

Cranky thinks his work is very important indeed. He is proud of his shiny brown fur and likes to look clean and smart.

One day, Pipsqueak puffed to the washdown."

Pipsqueak: "My whistle's clogged."

Narrator: "He tried to blow hard to clean it out, but instead blew mud all over Big Macintosh."

Big Macintosh: "Silly!"

Narrator: "Huffed Big Mac. Pipsqueak was trying not to laugh."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Keep your dirt away for me! I'm collecting the mayor today."

Big Macintosh: "I should do that."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Really?"

Narrator: "Chuckled Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You'd need a washdown first."

Big Macintosh: "Pah!"

Narrator: "Snorted Big Mac. Cranky just laughed.

Soon, Cranky had collected the mayor, and puffed proudly away."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Just look at me, Big Macintosh!"

Big Macintosh: "Show off!"

Narrator: "Muttered Big Mac.

Hoity Toity came to the sheds."

Hoity Toity: "I need an animal to collect the Queen of Ponyville."

Spike: "Who's the Queen of Ponyville?"

Hoity Toity: "A leaky old barge."

Narrator: "Replied Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "She needs to go to the workshops. It's dirty work I'm afraid."

Narrator: "Just then, James arrived at the library. This gave Big Mac an idea."

Big Macintosh: "Is collecting the Queen of Ponyville important work too?"

Hoity Toity: "Very important work. Do I have a volunteer?"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Very important work?"

Narrator: "Exclaimed Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I'll do it!"

Hoity Toity: "Then it settled. She's waiting at the canal."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Thank you, sir."

Narrator: "Said Cranky. Big Mac was delighted his plan was working."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I'm here to collect the Queen of Ponyville!"

Narrator: "Announced Cranky."

Yard Manager: "There she is."

Narrator: "The yard manager said. Cranky was furious."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: That slimy old tub?! Big Mac tricked me! He wants me to get dirty. I'll show him. A shiny donkey like me never gets dirty."

Narrator: "Soon Cranky set off with the Queen of Ponyville.

It was a long journey to the workshops."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Shiny and clean, shiny and clean."

Narrator: "Puffed Cranky.

Then, there was trouble. The tall funnel of the old barge crashed through a pipe. Cranky was sure he'd get covered in sludge. But he didn't."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Shiny and clean, shiny and clean!"

Narrator: "He declared again.

The workmen soon cleared the mess, and then Cranky was on his way.

He arrived safe and sound, and pleased that the dirty work was done.

When Cranky returned to the library, he was very proud of himself."

Big Macintosh: "How did you manage to stay so clean?"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I have to stay clean."

Narrator: "Boasted Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "In case there's important work to do."

Narrator: "Just then, Pipsqueak returned from the quarry."

Pipsqueak: "My whistle is clogged again. Watch out, Cranky!"

Narrator: "Dust went everywhere."

Pipsqueak: "I did warn you."

Spike: "You'll need a washdown now."

Narrator: "Teased Spike."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Good."

Narrator: "Snorted Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "It will make me browner than ever. I'm such a splendid donkey."

Big Macintosh, Soarin, Spike and Pipsqueak: (Groan)

Cherry Jubilee's Tea Shop/Cherry Jubilee's Stand

Narrator: "It was a hot summer's day Ponyville. The toys were busy taking mutant toys full of slate from the quarry. The heat and dust made their feet ache."

Woody: "We've arranged every changeling in the quarry today."

Narrator: "Wheeshed Woody."

Rex: "But I'm too thirsty to feel useful."

Narrator: "Complained Rex.

The summer sunshine made people thirsty too. Cheery Jubilee was keeping very busy at the refreshment stand.

The next day, Hoity Toity had news for Rex."

Hoity Toity: ""Cherry Jubilee needs a place for another refreshment stand."

Rex: "I can find her a beautiful place."

Cherry Jubilee: "I knew it. It will be a piece of cake."

Rex: "But refreshment stands don't live in cakes."

Cherry Jubilee: "It's just my way of saying it will be fun and easy to find the right place here."

Narrator: "Rex puffed along to the woodland way, and the old castle causeway, and the whispering waterfall."

Cherry Jubilee: "Thank you, Rex."

Narrator: "Said Cherry Jubilee."

Cherry Jubilee: "But I don't know what to do. I can't make up my mind. What a shame I can't build a refreshment stand at each place."

Narrator: "Rex was very disappointed. He didn't feel useful.

That night, there was a storm. Lightning flashed and thunder crashed. The rain poured down. All the toys were talking excitedly about the storm, except Rex. He was thinking about Cherry Jubilee's stand.

The next morning, Hoity Toity came to the house."

Hoity Toity: "Rex, I want you to go and help Slinky clear the storm damage."

Rex: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Rex said and hurried away. At last, he thought, he could be really useful.

Rex soon found Slinky. The storm had swept the shed onto the line."

Slinky: "Driver says the shed is useless now."

Rex: "It's not a shed."

Narrator: "Exclaimed Rex."

Rex: "It's an old trailer."

Narrator: "And that gave him an idea.

Back at the yards, his driver spoke to Hoity Toity."

Rex's Driver: "Rex thinks this old trailer could be a refreshment stand."

Hoity Toity: "Hmm, I'll have Jem take a look. I'm sure he can repair it."

Narrator: "Agreed Hoity Toity.

Hoity Toity was right. In no time at all, the old trailer had turned into a refreshment stand on wheels.

Cherry Jubilee could hardly believe her eyes."

Cherry Jubilee: "Oooh, it's beautiful! I told you it would be a piece of cake."

Narrator: "Hoity Toity paused for a moment."

Hoity Toity: "Eh, um, with many cakes in it, I'm sure."

Narrator: "Then he turned to Rex."

Hoity Toity: "And you shall pull the refreshment stand special."

Rex: "I'll be proud to, sir."

Narrator: "Replied Rex.

Now, Cherry Jubilee serves refreshments at all her favorite places. At woodland way, the old castle causeway and whispering waterfall.

Rex is a happy toy dinosaur."

Rex: "I told you it would be a piece of cake."

The Spotless Record

Narrator: "A brand new pony was racing across Ponyville. He was very excited, and he didn't want to be late."

Hoity Toity: "Right on time."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity. Spike and Pipsqueak looked at the new pony. He looked very smart."

Hoity Toity: "This is Goldengrape."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "He's here to arrange changelings and deliver freight."

Goldengrape: "Nice to meet you."

Narrator: "Puffed Goldengrape politely."

Hoity Toity: "And here's got a spotless record."

Pipsquaek: "What's a spotless record?"

Narrator: "Whispered Pipsqueak."

Spike: "It means he's never been naughty or made a mess."

Narrator: "Replied Spike.

The three animals were seen at work. Spike and Pipsqueak were bumping changelings. They knew this was naughty, but they were having fun."

Spike: "Join in, Goldengrape."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Goldengrape: "No thank you."

Narrator: "Wheeshed the new pony. He'd never been naughty before.

Goldengrape's first job was to take some changelings loaded with fruit to market. The changelings started to sing."

Changelings: "A root, toot, toot! We want to go. The fruit's going off cause you're too slow."

Goldengrape: "How rude."

Narrator: "Huffed Goldengrape. This gave Spike a naughty idea."

Spike: "Hoity Toity doesn't like the changelings singing."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "You must stop them."

Goldengrape: "Thank you."

Narrator: "Said Goldengrape."

Goldengrape: "I will."

Narrator: "Goldengrape was glad he could keep the changelings in order."

Spike: "He'll never stop the changelings from singing."

Narrator: "Laughed Spike.

Goldengrape chuffed cheerfully through the countryside. Soon the changelings started singing again."

Changelings: "Chug, chug, chug! You tug and huff, but you're so rusty you can't even puff!"

Goldengrape: "Stop singing!"

Narrator: "Huffed Goldengrape."

Goldengrape: "Changelings should do as they're told!"

Narrator: "The changelings were cross. If they couldn't sing, they would teach Goldengrape a lesson instead."

Changelings: "We'll show him!"

Narrator: "They giggled."

Changelings: "He can't push us around."

Narrator: "Goldengrape struggled over bridges, and he huff and puff through tunnels.

He came over the top of a big hill."

Changelings: "You can't catch us!"

Narrator: "Laughed the changelings."

Changelings: "Wheeeeee!"

Narrator: "But there was trouble ahead. Soarin had stopped at the crossing at the bottom of the hill.

Goldengrape's driver applied the brakes, but it was too late."

(CRASH!)

Narrator: "Squashed fruit flew everywhere.

Goldengrape was upset. His spotless record was ruined."

Spike: "Peep, peep! What a mess!"

Narrator: "Puffed Spike. Hoity Toity was very annoyed."

Hoity Toity: "What happened here?"

Goldengrape: "The changelings were singing. I told them to stop, but they made me go too fast."

Spike: "Please sir, it's my fault."

Narrator: "Spike told Hoity Toity what he had done."

Hoity Toity: "Goldengrape, it's eh... fruitless for me to say more, but Spike, you must help clean up this mess."

Narrator: "Caramel arrived with the breakdown crane. He could see there was a lot of work to be done.

Everyone worked hard, and Spike took the loaded changelings away.

That evening, Goldengrape was having the squashed fruit cleaned out of his head."

Spike: "I'm sorry I played a trick on you."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Goldengrape: "Thanks for owning up to it."

Narrator: "Replied Goldengrape."

Spike: "Maybe spotless records are made to be broken."

Narrator: "Smiled Spike."

Goldengrape: "And then mended again."

Narrator: "Finished Goldengrape."

Goldengrape: "Just like friendships."

Braeburn's Windmill/Braeburn and the Windmill

Narrator: "There are many beautiful places in Ponyville. The animals love the pretty watermill, the peaceful canals and the castle on the lake.

Braeburn's favorite place is the old windmill. The windmill is worn. It cannot make much flower now. Braeburn loves to watch the sails go around. And the miller is his friend."

Miller: "Good morning, Braeburn."

Narrator: "One day, Braeburn was collecting a load of flour to take to the market. But he was so busy watching the windmill sails that he forgot to look where he was going.

(Crash!)

All the flour was ruined, and the miller was upset."

Miller: "If I can't sell my flour, I'll have to shut down the windmill."

Braeburn: "I'm sorry."

Narrator: "Sighed Braeburn.

Caramel arrived to put the changelings back onto the path. Braeburn was sad."

Braeburn: "What will the miller do if the mill shuts down?"

Braeburn's Driver: "It's a shame."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Braeburn's Driver: "But we must hurry, Braeburn. There's a storm on the way."

Narrator: "Braeburn couldn't sleep that night. It wasn't the thunder and lightning that kept them awake. He was still worrying about the miller. That stormy night, the old windmill was struck by lightning.

The next morning, Braeburn chuffed carefully along his route. The storm had torn trees from the ground and the farm buildings had been damaged. Then, Braeburn saw the most shocking sight of all."

Braeburn: "The windmill is broken!"

Narrator: "He cried."

Miller: "This means the end of my business."

Narrator: "Said the miller sadly."

Miller: "I can't afford the timber to make the repairs."

Narrator: "Braeburn really wanted to help."

Braeburn: "There must be a way."

Narrator: "Suddenly, his driver saw a fallen tree ahead. Caramel and Featherweight were clearing the path.

Hoity Toity was cross."

Hoity Toity: "This storm has caused confusion and delay. Remove this tree immediately!"

Narrator: "But Braeburn had an idea."

Braeburn: "Please, sir, the windmill has been broken. The wood from this tree can mend it, and make it work again."

Hoity Toity: "A splendid idea!"

Narrator: "Agreed Hoity Toity.

Breaburn proudly took the tree to the miller.

The miller was delighted."

Miller: "Now we can build our windmill back up again. It will be as good as new."

Narrator: "Braeburn watched as the work began.

It took a long time, but as last, the windmill was completed.

Hoity Toity was most impressed. The miller was grateful."

Miller: "Thank you, Braeburn. Your idea saved my windmill."

Narrator: "Braeburn beamed happily.

Now the windmill produces more flour than ever before, and Braeburn makes twice as many deliveries to the market. He never tires of watching the sails go around, and he is very proud that the miller now calls it 'Braeburn's Windmill'."

Bad Day at Castle Loch

Narrator: "It was a beautiful day in Ponyville. Night Light and Hondo Flanks are unicorn fathers. They enjoy working in Hoity Toity's town. But sometimes, they longed for Canterlot, their old home.

One day, Hoity Toity called them to the docks."

Hoity Toity: "Lord Callan's castle is finally reopening. There is to be a grand celebration tomorrow. I need you to take the banners, buntings and bagpipes to the castle. Caramel, you must load them straight away."

Caramel: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: Chuffed Caramel. The unicorns were excited. Going to Lord Callan's castle would be like going home again.

Soon, Caramel had finished loading the freight."

Pipsqueak: "Where are you going?"

Narrator: "Asked Pipsqueak."

Night Light: "Lord Callan's castle!"

Narrator: "Night Light proudly announced."

Caramel: "By Castle Loch."

Pipsqueak: "I'm glad I'm not going to Castle Loch."

Narrator: "Said Pipsqueak nervously."

Hondo Flanks: "Scared the monster might get ya."

Narrator: "Teased Hondo Flanks."

Night Light: "He might."

Narrator: "Said Night Light."

Hondo Flanks: "There's no monster!"

Night Light: "There is too!"

Hondo Flanks: "There is not!"

Night Light: "Is too!"

Hondo Flanks: "Is not!"

Night Light: "Is too!"

Narrator: "Lord Callan's castle is in the Everfree Forest. Night Light and Hondo Flanks were determined to get the important goods to the castle in time. They puffed proudly around the loch towards their destination."

Night Light: "There it is!"

Narrator: "Cried Night Light."

Hondo Flanks: "We're almost there!"

Narrator: "Shouted Hondo.

But there was trouble ahead. Trees had fallen across the path. Night Light and Hondo Flanks stopped just in time.

Then, suddenly, there was a loud crash. The trailer had been hit by a landslide and come off the path. They were stuck."

Night Light's Driver: "We could take the causeway."

Narrator: "Said Night Light's driver. Hondo's driver knew the causeway was old and rickety."

Hondo Flanks' Driver: "It's too dangerous."

Narrator: "He said. The unicorns were worried."

Night Light: "We'll never get to the castle now."

Narrator: "Chuffed Night Light."

Night Light's Driver: "I'll call for help."

Tailor: "Splendid outfit, sir!"

Narrator: "Hoity Toity was trying on his present from Lord Callan when he heard the news."

Hoity Toity: "Night Light and Hondo Flanks trapped by the loch?"

Narrator: "He said."

Hoity Toity: "I'll send help as soon as I can."

Narrator: "But the hours past. It grew dark and cold, and still no help had come. Suddenly, the unicorns saw something strange through the mist."

Night Light: "What's that?!"

Narrator: "Called Night Light."

Hondo Flanks: "Is it the monster?!"

Narrator: "Cried Hondo."

Night Light: "For sure it is!"

Narrator: "Answered Night Light."

Caramel: "It's not a monster, it's us!"

Narrator: "It was Caramel and the breakdown crane. Night Light and Hondo Flanks were relieved.

By morning, the paths were cleared. Night Light and Hondo Flanks hurried off to the castle.

Lord Callan's workers were waiting to unload the changelings.

Soon, the castle was decorated. The grand opening was a great success. Lord Callan was pleased."

Lord Callan: "A splendid pair of unicorns!"

Hoity Toity: "And very useful!"

Narrator: "Added Hoity Toity."

Night Light and Hondo Flanks: "Och aye!"

Narrator: "Agreed the unicorns."

Buzz Lightyear and the Roller Coaster

Narrator: "Buzz Lightyear is a brave little toy who enjoys working in the mountains in Ponyville. Even though he is little, Buzz loves feeling like a really useful toy.

One day, Hoity Toity came to see Buzz."

Hoity Toity: "I have a very important job for you."

Narrator: "He boomed."

Buzz Lightyear: "An important job?"

Narrator: "Cried Buzz."

Buzz Lightyear: "Oh, thank you, sir!"

Hoity Toity: "You are to take some school children up into the mountains. You must make sure they have a wonderful time, and are back in time for their lunch."

Buzz Lightyear: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Said Buzz. But he was worried. He wasn't sure he was good enough to make the trip special.

When Buzz Lightyear arrived at the station, the children and the teacher were waiting on the platform."

Buzz Lightyear: "How am I going to make the children's day really special?"

Narrator: "He said to Slinky."

Slinky: "You know the mountains better than any toy."

Narrator: "Said Slinky. But Buzz wasn't sure his best will be exciting enough. He felt like a very little toy indeed.

Hoity Toity had told Buzz's driver to point out all the beautiful sights along the way."

Buzz Lightyear's Driver: "This is Ponyville Castle."

Narrator: "Called his driver."

Buzz Lightyear's Driver: "It is very special and important."

Narrator: "Buzz saw the castle everyday. He didn't think it was special or important."

Buzz Lightyear: "I must think of something exciting to do."

Narrator: "He thought to himself."

Buzz Lightyear's Driver: "This is the valley view."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Buzz Lightyear's Driver: "And here's the viaduct."

  • Children: "Oooh!"

Narrator: "Buzz Lightyear was still unhappy. The trip didn't seem wonderful to him at all."

Buzz Lightyear: "Must be special! Must be special!"

Narrator: "He thought.

Meanwhile, Slinky was working on the rocky ridge line. Heavy rains had washed the ground from under the road."

Foreman: "These lines are too bumpy and uneven."

Narrator: "Said the foreman."

Foreman: "The path must be closed for repairs."

Buzz Lightyear: "Must be special! Must be special!"

Narrator: "Buzz was still trying to think of something that would make the children's trip special.

He didn't know the linesmen have forgotten to switch the points.

Suddenly, Buzz was on the wrong path."

Buzz Lightyear: "Oh no! This path is closed for repairs. Bust my arms!"

Narrator: "Chuffed Buzz."

Slinky: "Be careful!"

Narrator: "Cried Slinky."

Slinky: "The path is very bumpy!"

Narrator: "Buzz Lightyear wooshed down the mountain like a roller coaster. The children cheered.

Buzz puffed up the rocky ridge with all his might. His filly clattered and bumped and bounced along behind. And the children ooohed and aaahed. Buzz huffed and puffed as hard as he could.

He raced across the trestle bridge. He was going so fast, the teacher nearly lost her hat.

Buzz splashed under a waterfall, the children laughed happily.

Children: Oooh!

Narrator: "The teacher covered her eyes.

At last, they could see the station. Buzz Lightyear was very tired and worried. What would Hoity Toity say?"

Teacher: "Phew!"

Narrator: "Said the teacher."

Teacher: "Just in time for lunch."

Children: "It was the best school trip ever!"

Narrator: "Cried the children. Hoity Toity wasn't cross with Buzz. He was happy too."

Hoity Toity: "You gave the children a wonderful trip. You really are a very useful toy."

Buzz Lightyear: "Oh, thank you, sir!"

Narrator: "Sighed Buzz proudly. Buzz Lightyear didn't feel like a little toy anymore."

Cheese Sandwich's Stormy Tale

Narrator: "The animals love working when the sun shines. One day, Spike and Pipsqueak were helping Cheese Sandwich at the harbor, but Cheese Sandwich was worried."

Cheese Sandwich: "Arrgh, it may be sunny now, matey, but there be a storm coming."

Spike: "It may be sunny now, matey, but there be a storm coming."

Pipsqueak: "There be a fierce storm on the way, Captain!"

Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich knew they were making fun of him. He felt sad.

Later, Hoity Toity arrived."

Hoity Toity: "I want you to fetch Lucky Clover from the Everfree Forest."

Narrator: "He said."

Hoity Toity: "His driver doesn't know the line."

Cheese Sandwich: "Aye aye, sir."

Narrator: "Replied Cheese Sandwich sadly.

Cheese Sandwish was glad he was going to the Everfree Forest. He didn't want to say where he wasn't liked.

Rarity: "What's wrong?"

Narrator: "Asked Rarity."

Cheese Sandwich: "Ah, noboby likes to be made fun of by a silly dragon and pony."

Narrator: "And he huffed away.

Rarity knew she had to find Spike and Pipsqueak immediately."

Spike: "Those be dark clouds, matey!"

Narrator: "Whistled Spike."

Pipsqueak: "There be a fierce storm on the way, Captain!"

Narrator: "Peeped Pipsqueak.

Rarity was cross."

Rarity: "It's not nice to copy the way others speak. You hurt Cheese Sandwich's feelings."

Pipsqueak: "We were just having fun."

Narrator: "Said Pipsqueak."

Spike: "We'll say sorry to him."

Narrator: "Added Spike.

But Cheese Sandwich was nowhere to be found.

Spike and Pipsqueak were worried.

Lucky Clover was waiting for Cheese Sandwich when he arrived at the Everfree Forest."

Lucky Clover: "Right on time."

Narrator: "Congratulated Lucky Clover."

Cheese Sandwich: "Aye, but there's a storm coming."

Narrator: "Said Cheese Sandwich."

Cheese Sandwich: "We must hurry."

Narrator: "Soon they were together and on their way home.

Cheese Sandwich was right about the storm. It was a fierce one. The ships at sea depend upon the lighthouse to keep them safely off the rocks, but now there was trouble.

The Captain: "The lighthouse lamp has gone out!"

Narrator: "Cried the captain.

Cheese Sandwich and Lucky Clover were fighting their way through the wind and rain. Then Cheese Sandwich saw a lantern ahead. The lighthouse keeper was waiting for him."

The Lighthouse Keeper: "Our lighthouse lamp has gone out! Our generator is broken!"

Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich had an idea."

Cheese Sandwich: "Lucky Clover has a flywheel. It could power the generator."

The Lighthouse Keeper: "Hurry!"

Narrator: "Shouted the lighthouse keeper.

Lucky Clover's flywheel was attached to the generator's shaft. Without the lighthouse, the ship was heading towards the rocks!

Lucky Clover was working as fast as he could. Finally, the generator came back to life. The lighthouse beam shone across the stormy sea once more."

The Captain: "Just in time! Hard to starboard, matey!"

Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich's idea had saved the day!

Lucky Clover worked hard until first light.

The next morning, Cheese Sandwich and Lucky Clover went back to Sugar Cube Corner. They were surprised to see a crowd waiting for them."

The Captain: "Thank you."

Narrator: "Said the captain."

The Captain: "You've saved our ship."

Hoity Toity: "Well done!"

Narrator: "Boomed Hoity Toity.

Cheese Sandwich was very proud."

Spike: "We're sorry if we hurt your feelings."

Narrator: "Puffed Spike."

Pipsqueak: "We were only copying you because we think you're grand."

Cheese Sandwich: "Then, say no more, me hearties!"

Narrator: "Replied Cheese Sandwich happily.

Now they will all work together, and have fun together, as good friends should."

Snow Pony/Dr. Hooves The Snow Pony

Narrator: "Dr. Hooves and Soarin are ponies. They deliver goods and passengers when the roads are closed by deep snow.

But Dr. Hooves thinks snow is messy and cold."

Dr. Hooves: "I'm an earth pony."

Narrator: "He chuffed one day."

Dr. Hooves: "I shouldn't have to shiver."

Tank: "Begging your pardon, Mr. Hooves?"

Narrator: "Whispered Tank."

Tank: "But I think snow is splendid."

Dr. Hooves: "Huh!"

Narrator: "Later, Dr. Hooves saw some children building a giant snowman for their winter festival.

Each time, Dr. Hooves passed by the snowman grew bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and bigger."

Tank: "Just an obviation, Mr. Hooves, snow is magical."

Dr. Hooves: "Oh!"

Narrator: "Finally, the snowman was completed.

Dr. Hooves chuffed back to his warm cozy home.

Hoity Toity was waiting for him."

Hoity Toity: "You have to return to the mountain village."

Narrator: "He said."

Hoity Toity: "Some goods are needed for the festival."

Dr. Hooves: "But all this snow makes my hooves feel chilly."

Hoity Toity: "Really useful animals work hard whatever the weather!"

Narrator: "Soon, Dr. Hooves was loaded and on his way. The snow was cold. It had frozen the points and diverted Dr. Hooves into the station siding."

Dr. Hooves: "Whoa, shiver my body!"

Narrator: "Cried Dr. Hooves. His driver applied the brakes."

Tank: "Is there a problem, Mr. Hooves?"

Dr. Hooves: "Yeah, there is! Whoa!"

(CRASH!)

Tank: "That could been a little smoother."

Narrator: "Dr. Hooves felt awful. He thought the children would be upset about their snowman.

Dr. Hooves' driver went for help.

Hoity Toity was just leaving his office when he got the call."

Hoity Toity: "Soarin will bring the breakdown crane first thing in the morning."

Narrator: "He said.

Dr. Hooves' driver returned and told him the news."

Dr. Hooves: "I'll be out here all night."

Narrator: "Moaned Dr. Hooves."

Dr. Hooves' Driver: "I'm afraid so."

Narrator: "Luckily, the village inn had a toasty warm room for Dr. Hooves' driver. But Dr. Hooves was getting colder and colder.

His stamina had gone low, and the top of his head was covered in icicles."

Dr. Hooves: "I was right all along. Brr! There's nothing magical about snow. Brr!"

Narrator: "Tank was beginning to think Dr. Hooves might be right."

Tank: "Brr!"

Narrator: "Next morning the children saw the situation."

Girl: "Look."

Narrator: "A little girl shouted."

Girl: "Our snowman has eyes in his tummy."

Boy: "No it doesn't."

Narrator: "Laughed a little boy."

Boy: "It's Dr. Hooves!"

Narrator: "That gave the children an idea.

When Dr. Hooves woke up, he was surrounded by happy children."

Children: "Dr. Hooves's a wonderful snow pony!"

Narrator: "They cried. Dr. Hooves was so relief that suddenly, he didn't feel any cold anymore.

When Soarin arrived with the breakdown crane, Dr. Hooves didn't want to leave. He loved the winter festival so much."

Dr. Hooves: "You were right, Tank."

Narrator: "Dr. Hooves called."

Dr. Hooves: "There are some magical things about snow."

Tank: "P-p-p-perhaps, Mr. Hooves."

Narrator: "Shivered Tank."

Dr. Hooves: "Absolutely!"

Something Fishy

Narrator: "Goldengrape loves working in Ponyville. He is new to the town and is still learning his way around.

One morning, he discovered the fishing village. The sun made the water sparkle and the seagulls cawed across the harbour. This was Goldengrape's favorite place.

That evening Hoity Toity came to the library."

Hoity Toity: "There's going to be a new path to the fishing village. I have to decide which animal shall run it."

Narrator: "He paused impressively. Spike and Pipsqueak looked away. They had enough work to do. Goldengrape hoped he would be chosen.

Hoity Toity: "Spike, you will work on the new path."

Spike: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Said Spike. But he really didn't like the smell of fish.

Goldengrape was disappointment. Hoity Toity sent him to haul coal to the steelworks.

That evening, Spike was at the washdown when Goldengrape puffed in."

Goldengrape: "Do I smell a fishy dragon?"

Narrator: "He teased."

Spike: "Yes."

Narrator: "Huffed Spike."

Spike: "Silly fish, smelly new path."

Narrator: "Goldengrape wished he could go to the fishing village instead of the steelworks. He'd be much happier than Spike.

The next morning, Spike was still grumpy. The fishermen had caught lots of fish."

Spike: "Hurry up."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "I'm a busy dragon."

Narrator: "And a fussy one too."

Narrator: "Said the fisherman."

Fisherman: "Just enjoy the fresh salty smell of the fish."

Spike: "Phew!"

Narrator: "Puffed Spike.

Spike raced as fast as he could along the path. But there was trouble ahead. Some faulty points sent his changelings one way and Spike onto the old pier way."

Spike: "Whoa!"

Narrator: "The changelings were delighted."

Changelings: "He's falling in the water!" (Laugh)

Narrator: "Luckily, Spike wasn't hurt and the fish changelings stayed on the path.

When Hoity Toity heard the news, he checked his time table."

Hoity Toity: "Goldengrape is the nearest animal. I'll send him right away."

Narrator: "It was a hot day. The ice that was keeping the fish cold started to melt."

Spike: "I hope someone comes quickly."

Narrator: "Moaned Spike."

Spike: "That fish will spoil soon."

Narrator: "Goldengrape was surprised to see Spike in the tidal pool."

Goldengrape: "Are you alright, Spike?"

Spike: "No, but I'll be much better when you take these fish away."

Goldengrape's Driver: "The breakdown van will be here soon."

Narrator: "Called Goldengrape's driver.

Goldengrape knew he had to hurry. He raced along the path to the docks, and arrived there just in time.

Later, Goldengrape went to see Spike at the fitter's yard."

Spike: "Thank you for helping me."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Goldengrape: "Thank you."

Narrator: "Said Goldengrape."

Goldengrape: "I wish I had the fishing village path all the time."

Spike: "Well please tell Hoity Toity because I don't like fish."

Narrator: "That evening, Hoity Toity came to the house."

Hoity Toity: "I need an animal to go to the fishing village while Spike is being repaired."

Narrator: "He said."

Hoity Toity: "Any volunteers?"

Goldengrape: "Me!"

Narrator: "Goldengrape blurted out."

Goldengrape: "And please sir, may I run on that path all the time? Spike doesn't like fish, but I do."

Hoity Toity: "Then the path is yours."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity. Goldengrape was delighted.

The next morning, he puffed into the fishing village right on time. The smell of fish was everywhere. But he was sure he had the most beautiful path in Ponyville."

The Runaway Elephant

Narrator: "The toys in Ponyville were excited. A new park was being built. Everyone was working hard to get the job finished on time.

Mr. Potato Head was feeling impatient."

Mr. Potato Head: "Get a move on slow coach!"

Narrator: "He puffed crossly to Slinky."

Mr. Potato Head: "You're so slow I finished first!"

Narrator: "He boasted to Woody. Woody was cross.

A little later, he met Slinky at the new park station."

Woody: "Mr. Potato Head thinks he's fast."

Narrator: "Woody steamed."

Woody: "But he's just a bossy head."

Slinky: "Better safe and fast."

Narrator: "Slinky agreed.

Mr. Potato Head drove into the station. He was all puffed up and pleased with himself."

Mr. Potato Head: "I've finished first."

Narrator: "He wheeshed proudly."

Hoity Toity: "In that case,"

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "I've got another job for you. You are to collect the elephant from the sidings and take it to the park."

Mr. Potato Head: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Chuffed Mr. Potato Head."

Hoity Toity: "This elephant is very important. You must be very careful."

Narrator: "When Mr. Potato Head saw the elephant, he was surprised."

Mr. Potato Head: "Why it's only a statue."

Narrator: "He said."

Mr. Potato Head: "This is an easy job."

Stationmaster: "You must wait for the trailer."

Narrator: "Said the stationmaster."

Stationmaster: "This statue is very heavy."

Mr. Potato Head: "Nonsense!"

Narrator: "Said Mr. Potato Head to his driver."

Mr. Potato Head: "I've pushed heavier loads than this plenty of times."

Mr. Potato Head's Driver: "Let's go, Mr. Potato Head."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Mr. Potato Head's Driver: "But we must be careful."

Narrator: "So they left, but without the trailer.

But Mr. Potato Head wasn't careful. He was impatient."

Mr. Potato Head: "We'll show them how fast I can be."

Narrator: "Mr. Potato Head whistled."

Mr. Potato Head: "We'll deliver this statue and I'll still finish first!"

Narrator: "Mr. Potato Head started to speed up. Soon, Mr. Potato Head was going as fast as his feet could carry him. His driver was starting to worry. So he tried to brake. But Mr. Potato Head was out of control. He was scared. He had never gone this fast.

People waved and cars tooted as Mr. Potato Head sped by.

Suddenly, a tractor trundled across Mr. Potato Head's path."

Mr. Potato Head's Driver: "Look out!"

Narrator: "Shouted his driver."

Slinky: "Slow down, slow down!"

Narrator: "Whistled Slinky."

Mr. Potato Head: "I can't!"

Narrator: "Mr. Potato Head cried as he shot past."

Mr. Potato Head: "Whoa!"

Narrator: "Elephant park loomed ahead. Mr. Potato Head's driver applied the brakes, but it was too late.

The statue flew into the air, and landed in the lake.

Luckily, nobody was hurt.

In no time, Hoity Toity arrived. He was cross."

Hoity Toity: "I told you to be careful! You should have waited for the trailer."

Narrator: :He said sternly."

Mr. Potato Head: "I'm sorry, sir."

Narrator: "Mumbled Mr. Potato Head. He felt very embarrassed.

Mr. Potato Head was repaired in time for the opening of Elephant Park. He was surprised to see the elephant still standing in the lake."

Princess Celestia: "Everyone loves the elephant in the lake."

Narrator: "Said Princess Celestia."

Hoity Toity: "Even if it was a mistake."

Narrator: "Added Hoity Toity."

Toys: "Hooray for Mr. Potato Head's mistake!"

Narrator: "Cheered the toys. Mr. Potato Head blushed, and went a deep shade red."

Peace and Quiet

Filthy Rich: "Hurry up! I'm a busy horse."

Narrator: "Huffed Filthy Rich.

Goods arrive night and day at the docks. Sometimes, Filthy Rich and the other animals work so hard that their feet ache.

Hoity Toity brought in a new buffalo to help with the heavy workload. He was long and had a headdress. He looked very strong."

Hoity Toity: "This is Chief Thunderhooves. He's going to be carrying freight on the main line."

Cheese Sandwich: "Ahoy, Chief Thunderhooves!"

Narrator: "Shouted Cheese Sandwich."

Caramel: "Welcome Chief Thunderhooves!"

Narrator: "Called Caramel."

Spike: "You're the biggest buffalo I've ever seen."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Chief Thunderhooves: "You're a chatty lot."

Narrator: "Chief Thunderhooves said quietly.

Soon, Chief Thunderhooves had collected a long line of heavy changelings. His body strained, his hooves started to move and the mighty buffalo chuffed away.

Chief Thunderhooves longed for some peace and quiet. But everywhere he went, it was noisy and crowded.

At the end of the day, Chief Thunderhooves was looking to a good night's rest. But Caramel and Cheese Sandwich were full of questions."

Caramel: "What's the heaviest cargo you've ever hauled?"

Cheese Sandwich: "Have you worked Manehattan?"

Caramel: "Have you ever crashed?"

Chief Thunderhooves: "Please!"

Narrator: "Chief Thunderhooves chuffed."

Chief Thunderhooves: "I want some peace and quiet, and I don't want to share a house with chatterboxes!"

Caramel: "No need to be rude."

Narrator: "Huffed Caramel."

Cheese Sandwich: "We're only being friendly matey."

Narrator: "The next morning, Chief Thunderhooves collected another heavy load.

This time, he chuffed into the beautiful countryside. It was splendid. At last, he had some peace and quiet.

Suddenly, his driver stopped him. There were sheep on the path."

Chief Thunderhooves' Driver: "The sheep escaped from that field."

Narrator: "Said the driver."

Chief Thunderhooves' Driver: "Through that broken fence."

Narrator: "They tried to chase the sheep back. First, this way, and then, that way.

They tried everything, but nothing worked."

Chief Thunderhooves' Fireman: "We'll never move these sheep by ourselves."

Narrator: "Said the fireman."

Chief Thunderhooves' Driver: "I'll go and phone for help."

Narrator: "Sighed the driver. Chief Thunderhooves was very unhappy. The noise sheep were spoiling his peace and quiet.

Hoity Toity was enjoying afternoon tea when he got the call."

Hoity Toity: "Sheep?"

Narrator: "He exclaimed loudly."

Hoity Toity: "I'll send Braeburn with the farmer immediately."

Narrator: "The sheep were becoming nosier and nosier."

Chief Thunderhooves: "Please stop!"

Narrator: "Groaned Chief Thunderhooves."

Chief Thunderhooves: "I'd rather be back with the chatterbox ponies."

Narrator: "Just then, Braeburn chuffed into view."

Chief Thunderhooves: "Braeburn!"

Narrator: "Exclaimed Chief Thunderhooves."

Fancy Pants: "We're certainly glad to see you."

Narrator: "Before long, the farmer and his dog went to work. And the sheep were soon safely in their field. And Chief Thunderhooves was on his way again.

That evening, Chief Thunderhooves arrived between Caramel and Cheese Sandwich, but Fancy Pants spoke first."

Chief Thunderhooves: "I'm sorry I was cross."

Narrator: "He chuffed."

Chief Thunderhooves: "I'm very placed to share a house with you."

Caramel: "And we're please to have your company."

Narrator: "Said Caramel."

Cheese Sandwich: "Aye, we are."

Narrator: "Added Cheese Sandwich."

Cheese Sandwich: "It reminds me of a story."

Narrator: "Chief Thunderhooves smiled. The sound of 'Baa, baa, baa' would have kept him awake, but a Cheese Sandwich story would send him happily to sleep."

Lucky Clover Breaks The Rules/Spike & The Search For Lucky Clover

Narrator: "Spike and Lucky Clover the Earth Pony are friends. Lucky Clover is the pride of the Cement Works. Lucky Clover knows all the rules, and obeys them.

One day, Hoity Toity brought Discord to the Cement Works."

Hoity Toity: "I need Discord to help for a while. Lucky Clover, please show him around."

Lucky Clover: "Yes."

Narrator: "Said Lucky Clover unhappily. He knew that Discord could be trouble.

Later, Discord was being careless."

Lucky Clover: "Not like that!"

Narrator: "Snapped Lucky Clover."

Lucky Clover: "Do it right!"

Discord: "Don't interfere!"

Narrator: "Sneered Discord."

(Cement mix falls on Discord)

Lucky Clover: "You don't know the rules!"

Narrator: "Shouted Lucky Clover. Discord was very annoyed with Lucky Clover and started plotting a devious plan.

Later that day, he pretended to have news for Lucky Clover."

Discord: "Hoity Toity wants you to work at the Smelters."

Lucky Clover: "Me? But I'm the pride of the Cement Works."

Discord: "Not anymore! Hoity Toity says I'm better than you, so I'm going to stay here."

Lucky Clover: "It's not fair. I love working here."

Narrator: "But he knew that really useful animals have to do as they are told."

Discord: (Laughs)

Narrator: "Lucky Clover and his driver arrived at the smelter."

Lucky Clover: "I want to go back to the Cement Works!"

Narrator: "Wailed Lucky Clover."

Lucky Clover: "None of the other animals like coming here, it's so scary!"

Lucky Clover's Driver: "You're right."

Narrator: "Said his driver.

Just then, the scrap fillies arrived."

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon: "Hello. Are you happy to be here?"

Lucky Clover: "No!"

Narrator: "Cried Lucky Clover. His driver was scared, too."

Lucky Clover's Driver: "Come on, Lucky Clover, we're going to escape!"

Narrator: "And for the first time, Lucky Clover broke the rules.

Hoity Toity was enjoying a tasty fish supper, when he heard that Lucky Clover was missing."

Hoity Toity: "That's not like Lucky Clover. There must be something wrong. I will send Spike to look for him."

Narrator: "Lucky Clover and his driver turned onto a unused path to find a place to hide. Lucky Clover was frightened.

So was Spike. He looked up and down the path. He couldn't see Lucky Clover anywhere."

Spike's Driver: "We could search the old mine path."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Spike: "That path is dark and spooky."

Narrator: "Whispered Spike. But he had to be brave and find Lucky Clover.

Lucky Clover was on a siding. He ran out of stamina.

Suddenly, he heard a sound."

Lucky Clover: "It's a dragon!"

Narrator: "He cried."

Spike: "Lucky Clover!"

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "Whatever are you doing out here?"

Lucky Clover: "Hiding. Don't want to work at the smelters. Hoity Toity is going to be very cross with me."

Spike: "He's not."

Narrator: "Cried Spike."

Spike: "He's worried about you."

Lucky Clover: "Really?"

Spike: "Of course."

Narrator: "Puffed Spike. Lucky Clover felt better.

Spike took Lucky Clover all the way to the smelters yard, where he knew Hoity Toity was waiting."

Hoity Toity: "Lucky Clover, explain yourself."

Lucky Clover: "I ran away. It's scary here."

Spike: "Discord told Lucky Clover that you wanted him at the smelters forever."

Hoity Toity: "Nonsense, Lucky Clover. You are the pride of the Cement Works. I shall send Discord to the smelters, and you can go back to the Cement Works tomorrow."

Lucky Clover: "Oh, thank you sir!"

Narrator: "Said Lucky Clover happily.

Lucky Clover knew he had a good friend in Spike, and he was still the pride of the Cement Works."

Garble Rides Again

Narrator: "In the summertime, there is no better place to be than Ponyville. The animals are happy to show vacationers the wonderful sights to be seen. But this year, there was a problem.

Spike and Rarity were in the foundry for repairs."

Hoity Toity: "I need to find a way to carry more passengers."

Narrator: "Grumbled Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "We have more vacationers."

Rarity: "And fewer animals."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Spike: "A double decker problem."

Narrator: "Added Spike."

Hoity Toity: "A double decker problem? Hmm."

Narrator: "This gave Hoity Toity an idea.

He drove straight to Garble's field. Garble is a teenage dragon. He was turned into a hen house after he caused a silly accident."

Hoity Toity: "Good news, Garble. I'm putting back onto the road."

Garble: "Thank you, sir. I'll be the best teenage dragon ever!"

Narrator: "Garble never liked being a hen house anyway.

The next day, he went to the foundry."

Spike: "Garble!"

Narrator: "Exclaimed Spike."

Spike: "What are you doing here?"

Garble: "I'm being repaired. I'm going back onto the road."

Rarity: "I think you'll be helping the new farmer."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Rarity: "He needs to deliver his vegetables around Ponyville."

Garble: "Vegetables? Hmph! I'm going to carry passengers."

Narrator: "Soon, Garble was refitted inside and out. He looked smart and shiny. Even Cranky Doodle Donkey was impressed."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Ooooh!"

Narrator: "When Garble returned to his field, the hens thought their old house looked splendid."

Garble's Driver: "We'll start in the morning."

Narrator: "Said his driver."

Garble's Driver: "You'll stay here tonight."

Narrator: "Garble was soon fast asleep. But the hens missed their old home. And one by one, they crept aboard, and went to sleep on him. Garble knew nothing.

The next morning, Garble picked up lots of passengers."

Garble: "All aboard!"

Narrator: "He tooted, and set off for the station. He was walking so smoothly that the hens didn't wake up.

All was well until Garble turned a corner. Gummy was pulling a hay cart."

Garble: "Get out of my way!"

Narrator: "He overtook Gummy. Garble swerved. The hens woke up. The passengers panicked, and Garble's driver lost control. The hens were frightened. The flapped, they squawked."

Passengers: "Stop!"

Narrator: "Cried Garble's passengers."

Passengers: "We want to get off!"

Narrator: "The passengers were covered in feathers and broken eggs. They were very cross."

Passengers: "This dragon is full of hens!"

Narrator: "They complained."

Passengers: "We shall tell Hoity Toity!"

Garble: "It's not my fault."

Narrator: "Sulked Garble.

Hoity Toity sent Garble to be cleaned."

Garble: "Silly hens, silly passengers! You can have them both."

Rarity: "The farmer still needs help with his vegetables."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Garble: "A vegetable dragon? Hmm, hey that's not such a bad idea."

Spike: "And we're back carrying passengers."

Narrator: "Smiled Spike.

Garble is happy now. He has new green skin, and a smart serving hatch. Hoity Toity agreed he can become Ponyville's only vegetable stand on feet. Garble likes carrying vegetables. They don't lay eggs, and they never complain."

Owlowiscious and the Flying Horse

Narrator: "Owlowiscious the Owl is glad not to be a pony. He is much happier flying in the sky than racing along on roads.

One sunny morning, the animals were busy preparing for the Vicar's annual garden party."

Owlowiscious: "I like to help."

Narrator: "Called Owlowiscious."

Owlowiscious: "But I'm on patrol."

Narrator: "He was looking for animals that might be in trouble.

Meanwhile, the animals puffed to and fro with their loads to the party.

Pipsqueak was delivering deck chairs and decorations, tables and tea earns and reminders."

Pipsqueak: "Don't forget to come to the Vicar's party."

Owlowiscious: "Thanks for the invitation."

Narrator: "Called Owlowiscious."

Owlowiscious: "But duty calls."

Narrator: "And he whirred away.

Owlowiscious was landing on his tree to get more food when he saw Pegasus the cart horse that lives close by. Pegasus was ready to give rides to children. He had a shiny leather hornest and a freshly painted cart. Owlowiscious was beginning to feel left out of the celebrations. He wished more than ever that he could help.

Spike puffed in with some passengers."

Owlowiscious: "Where are you going next?"

Narrator: "Buzzed Owlowiscious."

Spike: "To the Vicar's party of course. Everyone's going."

Owlowiscious: "Everyone except me."

Narrator: "Replied Owlowiscious."

Owlowiscious: "I'm on duty."

Spike: "Yes indeed."

Narrator: "Said Spike kindly."

Spike: "Being a rescue owl is important work."

Owlowiscious: "But no one needs rescuing."

Narrator: "Sighed Owlowiscious.

Then came the surprise. Owlowiscious's pilot received an urgent call from Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Pegasus is stuck in a ditch. If he doesn't get to the Vicar's party, the children will be disappointed. You must rescue him at once."

Owlowiscious: "All set and ready for action."

Narrator: "Reported Owlowiscious."

Pipsqueak: "Pegasus?"

Narrator: "Wondered Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "That's a funny name for a horse."

Hoity Toity: "It's the name of a flying horse in a very old story."

Narrator: "Explained Hoity Toity."

Pipsqueak: "Flying horse!?"

Narrator: "Exclaimed Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "Horses can't fly."

Narrator: "He felt very clever.

Owlowiscious flew to the rescue as fast as he could."

Owlowiscious: "What happened?"

Narrator: "He asked Spike."

Spike: "We were loading the cart. Pegasus wondered off into the ditch. Silly horse, now he's stuck. If you can take him, I can take the cart."

Owlowiscious: "I'll put Pegasus in my sling."

Spike: "We need to hurry."

Narrator: "Whistled Spike."

Spike: "The party is about to begin."

Narrator: "And he steamed away.

Soon, Owlowiscious's pilot had fitted Owlowiscious's sling under Pegasus. Then, Owlowiscious lifted him gently into the air and carefully carried him across the fields.

When Pipsqueak saw Pegasus flying through the sky he was amazed."

Pipsqueak: "Well flatten my tail, so horses can fly after all."

Narrator: "The children cheered for Owlowiscious. He had saved the day.

Soon, Pegasus was hitched up to the cart. The party was a big success and the children had a wonderful time. Owlowiscious was happy. He'd stayed on duty and had fun at the party too."

The Grand Opening

Narrator: "The toys on the Mountain Path were excited. They were helping to build a new road.

It would take visitors to even more beautiful places in Ponyville.

Hoity Toity arrived with important news."

Hoity Toity: "The grand opening is this afternoon. I want to see the new line from the air. Princess Celestia and I will arrive on Owlowiscious the Owl."

Narrator: "Just then, Woody chugged in."

Hoity Toity: "You're late for the announcement."

Narrator: "Complained Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Really useful toys are never late."

Woody: "I'm sorry, sir."

Narrator: "At Owlowiscious' tree, there was another problem."

Owlowiscious' Pilot: "Wing trouble."

Narrator: "Said the pilot."

Owlowiscious: "Owlowiscious' not going anywhere today."

Narrator: "Princess Celestia was most upset."

Princess Celestia: "But I've been looking forward to the grand opening all week!"

Hoity Toity: "And I, my dear, will find a solution."

Narrator: "And he did."

Princess Celestia: "Hoity Toity, you cannot be serious. WE ride in this?"

Hoity Toity: "The wind direction is perfect. We'll be there in no time."

Narrator: "Soon the hot air balloon rose into the sky.

But Woody was upset."

Woody: "All this extra work is going to make me late again!"

Narrator: "The hot air balloon was floating peacefully though the sky.

Princess Celestia was enjoying herself."

Princess Celestia: "The new road looks splendid."

Narrator: "She said."

Hoity Toity: "Thank you, my dear."

Narrator: "Replied Hoity Toity.

Down the road, the workmen were still loading their ladders."

Woody: "Hurry up, hurry up!"

Narrator: "Woody puffed."

Hoity Toity: "If Woody doesn't hurry,

Narrator: "Sighed Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "He'll be late again!"

Narrator: "All the toys were ready for the grand opening."

Slinky: "Where's Woody?"

Narrator: "Slinky asked."

Rex: "He promised to be on time."

Narrator: "Said Rex.

At last, Woody was on his way.

Then, there was trouble. The balloon's flame suddenly went out. The air in the balloon cooled, and the balloon started to fall."

Balloon Pilot: "Hold tight."

Narrator: "The pilot called."

Princess Celestia: "I want to get out!"

Narrator: "Demanded Princess Celestia."

Hoity Toity: "Not now, dear."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Woody: "The balloon's going to land in the tree!"

Narrator: "Cried Woody."

Narrator: "And it came down, right in front of Woody."

Woody: "There's Hoity Toity!"

Princess Celestia: "My crown is ruined!"

Narrator: "Cried Princess Celestia."

Hoity Toity: "So is my hair."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Woody's Driver: "Don't worry!"

Narrator: "Called Woody's driver."

Woody's Driver: "We'll soon have you down."

Hoity Toity: "Am I glad to see you, Woody."

Woody: "Thank you, sir."

Narrator: "Before long, Hoity Toity and Princess Celestia were safely on the ground. They followed Woody and set off at once.

Everyone was waiting as Woody brought his important passengers to the grand opening.

Hoity Toity declared the new road open."

Hoity Toity: "With special thanks to Woody."

Narrator: "He said."

Hoity Toity: "For helping us get here."

Narrator: "Everyone cheered."

Slinky: "Even so, you were still late."

Narrator: "Teased Slinky."

Woody: "I know."

Narrator: "Said Woody."

Woody: "But because I was late, Hoity Toity was right on time!"

Best Dressed Animal

Narrator: "It was May Day in Ponyville and the animals were celebrating. They knew there'd be music and lots of fun.

The station was being decorated. Hoity Toity said that the animals could be decorated too."

Pipsqueak: "I'm going to have flags and streamers!"

Narrator: "Whistled Pipsqueak."

Spike: "I'm going to have a big red banner."

Narrator: "Whistled Spike."

Chief Thunderhooves: "What decorations will you have, Big Macintosh?"

Narrator: "Asked Chief Thunderhooves."

Big Macintosh: "Decorations aren't dignified for an important stallion like me. I pull the express!"

Narrator: "Big Mac was feeling insulted."

Big Macintosh: "Humpf!

Silly little animals!"

Narrator: "He grunted.

Spike was enjoying himself. He was bringing the maypole. The farmer's children waved. Spike peeped happily as he passed by.

Soon, it was time for the decorating. Pipsqueak's driver was wrapping streamers and flags around his body. Spike had a big red banner on his chest. Even Chief Thunderhooves was being decorated. Although he was very shy about it."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "We could have a contest for the Best Dressed Animal."

Narrator: "Suggested Cranky. Just then, Big Mac shunted in."

Big Macintosh: "A contest!"

Narrator: "He puffed."

Big Macintosh: "I'm bound to win any contest."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You will have to be decorated."

Narrator: "Said Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "This is a Best Dressed Animal contest."

Big Macintosh: "Not me!"

Narrator: "Puffed Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "You'd never catch me looking so ridiculous!"

Narrator: "The animals felt splendid.

But not Big Macintosh. He was cross."

Big Macintosh: "Decorations aren't dignified. Hah! Who cares about a contest anyway?"

Narrator: "Further down his path, a colorful banner was strung about the bridge.

Then, as Big Mac steamed across the bridge, it came loose and wrapped around his body. Big Mac couldn't see the path ahead!

Big Mac tried to shake the banner off, but it wouldn't budge."

Big Macintosh: "I can't see!"

Narrator: "He whistled loudly to his driver."

Big Macintosh: "Stop!"

Big Macintosh's Driver: "You can't stop, Big Mac."

Narrator: "His driver called back."

Big Macintosh's Driver: "You're the express."

Narrator: "Gummy was chugging slowly along with his load of apples for the children's apple bob.

Gummy heard a whistle. He was going as fast as he could. But it wasn't fast enough."

(Big Macintosh crashes through Gummy's cart)

Narrator: "The apples were all smashed.

Cranky was the last animal to join the contest, or so he thought."

Passengers: "Here comes, Big Macintosh!"

Narrator: "Cried the passengers."

Spike: "We didn't think you wanted to be decorated."

Narrator: "Teased Spike."

Big Macintosh: "I didn't!"

Narrator: "Huffed Big Mac."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Well, you're definitely the Best Dressed Animal."

Narrator: "Said Cranky. All the animals agreed. Big Mac was secretly pleased. But he didn't think it was dignified to say so. Silly Big Mac!"

Big Macintosh and Prince Blueblood

Narrator: "It was a sunny day in Ponyville, and all the animals were working hard.

Big Macintosh was feeling very excited."

Big Macintosh: "Good morning, Spike! I look my best, and do you know why?"

Spike: "Why?"

Big Macintosh: "Because a Duke and Duchess are visiting. Hoity Toity will be choosing me as their special animal."

Spike: "Pah!"

Narrator: "Puffed Spike.

After Big Mac had been washed and polished, he rushed away to meet the visitors. But a signal diverted Big Mac onto a siding. He was very upset."

Big Macintosh: "I'm going to be late!"

Narrator: "He muttered. A huge unicorn rocketed by."

Big Macintosh: "Pumping legs! Who's that?"

Narrator: "Big Mac soon found out. When he arrived at the library, the huge unicorn was humming quietly."

Prince Blueblood: (Humming)

Big Macintosh: "Who are you?"

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "This is Prince Blueblood. He's the fastest animal in the world."

Big Macintosh: "Huh!"

Narrator: "But secretly Big Mac was impressed."

Prince Blueblood: "I'm the Duke and Duchess' private animal. I take them everywhere."

Hoity Toity: "Quiet! There will be a party for our guest at Sugar Cube Corner."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "That's far away over Big Mac's Hill."

Big Macintosh: "You'll need to drink plenty of water."

Narrator: "Muttered Big Mac."

Prince Blueblood: "I have plenty of water!"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Prince Blueblood, and he raced away."

Big Macintosh: "I was only trying to be useful."

Narrator: "Grunted Big Mac.

Prince Blueblood showed the Duke and Duchess many beautiful places, but he never stopped once to drink more water.

Big Mac and Spike were collecting passengers when Prince Blueblood raced through on his way to the party."

Big Macintosh: "Don't forget the water!"

Prince Blueblood: "Who cares?"

Spike: "He'll be in trouble soon."

Narrator: "Sighed Spike.

And Prince Blueblood was. He ran out of water on Big Mac's Hill."

Prince Blueblood: "Why didn't I listen?"

Narrator: "Sighed Prince Blueblood.

Hoity Toity soon heard the news."

Hoity Toity: "I'll send Big Macintosh."

Narrator: "When Big Mac arrived, the stationmaster was waiting."

Stationmaster: "You need to rescue Prince Blueblood. He's stuck on the hill."

Big Macintosh's Driver: "Hurry, Big Mac."

Narrator: "Said his driver.

Big Mac was looking forward to meeting Prince Blueblood."

Big Macintosh: "Run out of water?"

Narrator: "He teased."

Prince Blueblood: "Yes!"

Narrator: "Snapped Prince Blueblood."

Prince Blueblood: "I must have a leaky body."

Big Macintosh: "Perhaps."

Narrator: "Smiled Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "But we better hurry. Everyone is waiting."

Narrator: "Big Mac switched to Prince Blueblood's path and was hooked up. Then they set."

Big Macintosh: "See."

Narrator: "Said Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "We're right on time!"

Narrator: "But Prince Blueblood was embarrassed."

Spike: "What do you think of Prince Blueblood now?"

Narrator: "Whispered Spike."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Too much puff and not enough strength!"

Hoity Toity: "Well done, Big Mac!"

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You are the fastest animal in Ponyville."

Big Macintosh: "I know that."

Narrator: "Muttered Big Mac."

Not So Hasty Puddings/Not So Hasty Cakes/Spike and the Avalanche

Narrator: "It was Christmas time in Ponyville, and Hoity Toity's animals were busy. The snow made their journeys difficult. They had to work hard to deliver passengers and goods to their destinations of time. This made the animals feel very reliable.

Trixie pulled into the fitters yard with Spike's snow boots."

Spike: "I don't need those silly old things!"

Narrator: "Huffed Spike."

Trixie: "Stuff and nonsense!"

Narrator: "Said Trixie."

Trixie: "You can't be a reliable dragon if you can't get through the snow."

Narrator: "That made Spike cross."

Spike: "You know I'm reliable. I just don't like my boots.

Trixie is rude!"

Narrator: "Spike chuffed."

Spike: "And these snow boots makes my feet ache!"

Narrator: "Later, Spike saw Hoity Toity talking to Trixie."

Hoity Toity: "The Ponyville Cake Factory is snowed in. Their Christmas cakes must get to the docks before the ship sails for the mainland."

Spike: "Let me do the job."

Hoity Toity: "I need you on your path, Spike. Besides, Trixie knows those roads well. She's very reliable."

Spike: "I'm reliable too!"

Narrator: "Huffed Spike."

Trixie: "Apparently not reliable enough."

Narrator: "Trixie chuffed. Now Spike was crosser still.

The snow was heavy, but Spike arrived at every station right on time.

Trixie was struggling to stay on the road. Her hooves did not like the slippery ice at all.

When Spike arrived at the docks to pick up Featherweight, he was surprised that Trixie had not returned."

Dock Manager: "The ship will miss the tide."

Narrator: "Said the dock manager."

Hoity Toity: "And the children won't have their Christmas cakes. Spike, go and look for Trixie at once."

Spike: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Answered Spike."

Spike: "Perhaps Trixie isn't so reliable after all."

Narrator: "He whispered.

At the cake factory, Trixie's cart was piled high with crates of Christmas cakes."

Trixie: "Hoity Toity's counting on me. I mustn't be late."

Narrator: "She chuffed onto the icy road.

Suddenly, she was on a steep hill. Her drive tried to stop. Trixie slid out of control into a deep snowdrift."

(CRASH!)

"Poor Trixie.

Spike and Featherweight puffed through the swirling snow. They couldn't see Trixie anywhere.

Soon, they spotted her driver. He was standing by the level crossing."

Trixie's Driver: "Trixie is stuck under the snow."

Narrator: "Her driver explained."

Trixie's Driver: "I need help to dig her out."

Narrator: "Featherweight rescued her in no time."

Spike: "We will have to hurry."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "It wasn't you fault, Trixie, it's the slippery roads."

Narrator: "Trixie felt much better.

Spike chuffed and puffed as fast as he could.

They reached the docks just in time. Hoity Toity was delighted to see the bakery crates, and that Trixie was safe and well."

Hoity Toity: "We'll get you unloaded immediately."

Spike: "Now the children will have their Christmas cakes."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Hoity Toity: "Well done!"

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Trixie: "Thank you, Spike."

Narrator: "Said Trixie."

Trixie: "You and I are both reliable."

Narrator: "Spike agreed."

Trusty Slinky

Narrator: "Slinky repairs the roads that wind through the mountains in Ponyville. The slinky dog checks that the roads, tunnels, and bridges, are all in good working order.

One day, Slinky was crossing the old wooden bridge. There was a big bump in the path. Slinky's driver stopped to check the bridge."

Slinky's Driver: "There are cracks in the supports."

Narrator: "He said."

Slinky: "That could be dangerous!"

Narrator: "Cried Slinky."

Slinky: "It might fall down if it's not repaired."

Narrator: "And they hurried off to warn the other toys.

The toys were waiting for their oil when Slinky arrived."

Slinky: "Don't use the old wooden bridge."

Narrator: "Said Slinky."

Slinky: "It's dangerous."

Mr. Potato Head: "How would you know?"

Narrator: "Wheeshed Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "You're only a slinky dog."

Narrator: "And he puffed crossly away. He didn't even wait for his oil.

Slinky hurried down the mountain to tell Hoity Toity the bad news."

Hoity Toity: "Thank you."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "I'll send engineers to investigate. Meanwhile, no one is to use it."

Narrator: "Slinky's driver put up a sign; 'Path Closed.'

The toys had to travel a different way.

Meanwhile, Mr. Potato Head needed more oil to get home, but when he arrived at the Oil Depot, it was empty."

Mr. Potato Head: "Bother! I won't get home without more oil. Where's the nearest depot?"

Woody: "On the other side of the old wooden bridge, but you can't cross; Slinky says it's not safe."

Mr. Potato Head: "Pah! Slinky always makes things sound worse than they are."

Mr. Potato Head's Driver: "I'm sure one trip across the old wooden bridge won't hurt."

Narrator: "Added his driver.

When they got to the junction, Mr. Potato Head's driver removed the sign, and they set off towards the bridge. This was a big mistake.

Suddenly, Mr. Potato Head slowed to a halt."

Mr. Potato Head: "I'm out of oil!"

Narrator: "He had used up all his oil."

(A piece of the bridge splashes into the water)

Mr. Potato Head: "What's that?"

Narrator: "He gasped nervously.

His driver looked out. The old wooden bridge was starting to collapse!"

Woody: "Slinky!"

Narrator: "Called Woody."

Woody: "Mr. Potato Head's gone across the bridge!"

Slinky: "I'd better check he's all right."

Narrator: "The slinky dog said.

But the cracks in the supports were getting larger. A beam snapped, timber pieces splashed into the water below."

Mr. Potato Head: "Help!"

Narrator: "Called Mr. Potato Head."

Mr. Potato Head: "I'm going to fall!"

Narrator: "But Slinky was on the way.

Soon, the slinky dog reached the old wooden bridge. Mr. Potato Head had never looked so scared! Slinky walked bravely onto the bridge."

Mr. Potato Head: "Careful!"

Narrator: "Gasped Mr. Potato Head.

Soon, they held on."

Slinky: "Hold on!"

Narrator: "Said Slinky."

Mr. Potato Head: "Oooh!"

Narrator: "Shouted Mr. Potato Head.

The slinky dog pulled him off the bridge, just in time!"

(The bridge breaks and falls into the water)

Narrator: "Hoity Toity was cross."

Hoity Toity: "That was very irresponsible."

Mr. Potato Head: "Yes sir, sorry sir. And Slinky, you were very brave."

Hoity Toity: "Yes, Slinky, you really are a useful slinky dog!"

Slinky: "Thank you, Sir!"

Narrator: "Slinky felt very reliable, too."

Three Cheers for Spike/Hooray for Spike

Narrator: "It was an exciting day in Ponyville."

Owlowiscious: "Good morning!"

Narrator: "Called Owlowiscious.

Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were with happy children. Spike was taking them to their annual Sports Day. Everything was ready for the day to begin."

Boy: "I do hope I'm number one and win a medal."

Narrator: "Said a boy."

Spike: "It must be splendid to win a medal."

Narrator: "Chuffed Spike."

Spike: "After all, I'm dragon number one."

Narrator: "Spike worked hard all afternoon. But he couldn't stop thinking about medals. He imagined himself wearing a gold medal on a bright red ribbon. How smart he would look!"

Pipsqueak: "Hello, Spike."

Narrator: "Whistled Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "I'm taking Hoity Toity to Sports Day."

Spike: "You can see the egg-and-spoon race."

Narrator: "Chuffed Spike."

Pipsqueak: "I didn't know eggs and spoons had races."

Angel: "The children race with eggs on spoons."

Narrator: "Said Angel."

Spike: "And the winner gets a medal. I wish I could have a medal."

Pipsqueak: "You need to win a race first!"

Narrator: "Whistled Pipsqueak."

Angel: "I'll race you, Spike. The first one to the station is the winner!"

Spike: "You're on."

Narrator: "Called Spike."

Spike: "Ready, steady, go!"

(Angel gets stuck behind Gummy pulling a cart)

Spike: "Better hurry, Angel!"

Narrator: "Peeped Spike.

Then Spike had to stop to pick up some passengers."

Angel: "Better hurry, Spike!"

Narrator: "Teased Angel as he rattled over the bridge.

Then Angel had to stop at a level crossing."

Spike: "Last one there puffs hot air!"

Narrator: "Called Spike.

Spike was nearly at the station. As he drew near the playing field, a signalman flagged him down. Now Spike was really cross. Angel was sure to win. Then he saw Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "Spike, the Sports Day medals have been left in my office. You must fetch them at once. We can't let the children down."

Spike: "Of course not, sir."

Narrator: "Replied Spike. And he chuffed away.

Meanwhile, Angel had raced into the station."

Angel: "I won!"

Narrator: "Shouted Angel."

Angel: "I won!"

Narrator: "And he waited eagerly for Spike. He waited and waited.

But Spike had forgotten about the race. He was thinking about the children."

Spike: "I can't let them down! I can't let them down!"

Narrator: "At last, Spike puffed back into the big station. The stationmaster gave Spike's driver the box of medals. Then Spike set off again.

He arrived just in time!"

Hoity Toity: "Well done!"

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Spike: "Thank you, sir."

Narrator: "Panted Spike.

Hoity Toity present the medals to the winners."

Hoity Toity: "Congratulations!"

Boy: "Thank you, sir!"

Narrator: "The next day, Angel and the medal winner arrived with a surprise for Spike.

A small boy presented him with a gold medal on a red ribbon."

Hoity Toity: "You were very helpful at Sports Day."

Boy: "So we thought you should have a medal of your own."

Narrator: "Added the boy."

Spike: "My very own medal!"

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "Thank you!"

Children: "Three cheers for Spike, the Number One Dragon! Hip, hip, hooray!"

Angel: "But I still won the race."

Narrator: "Tooted Angel. Spike just peeped happily."
