Welcome to the Student Research Project in Quantum Mechanics! mini wiki at Scratchpad!
You can use the box below to create new pages for this mini-wiki. Make sure you type
[[Category:Student Research Project in Quantum Mechanics!]] on the page before you save it to make it part of the Student Research Project in Quantum Mechanics! wiki (preload can be enabled to automate this task, by clicking this link and saving that page. Afterwards, you may need to purge this page, if you still see this message).
You will work in groups of six to complete a research project on a specific topic in the discovery of quantum mechanics. The project will be split into six parts to be completed by each member of your group, and the finished product will be posted on your group's own personal wiki page. Each group will pick one of the topics from the following list. Please read linked pages to get an idea of which topic most interests your group.
Each topic has a blank canvas web page, linked below. On that page, there are six categories (headings). Each group will split up the work however they wish (I'm assuming one section per person). Research may be done with books (minimum of 1), magazines, and internet articles. At the bottom of each page is a "Bibliography" section, where each group member must post their name, section and cite all of their sources (a minimum of 2 sources per person). Each section must be a minimum of 300 words. At least one picture per section must be posted as well. Please try to keep the pictures small to avoid cluttering the page.
Posting on Wikia
I will go over how to post your part of the project in class. A tutorial is also available here, which covers the essentials. Posting pictures is fairly easy, but if you have any questions you can e-mail me. Simply hit the "Edit" tab on the top of your group's page to get started!
