Sukiyaki Yuki (すき焼き由紀Sukiyaki yuki-san) is a Japanese anime series produced by Toei Animation for Shonen Jumps. The cartoon was originally a TV movie which debuted on TV Tokyo in November 1, 2012 but later split into six full-length episodes, all of them airing on November 2, 2012. An English version was produced by Viz Media which aired in Cartoon Network on November 3, 2012 featuring the lead voices of Jason Marsden and Tom Kenny.

The cartoon seems to be an anime twist between "Ranma 1/2" and "Astro Boy". Two Oriental high-school boys (Yuki Miyamoto and Saburo Ping) fell into the mystical springs that gave them superpowers; Yuki went into the spirit where the robot warrior drowned so he becomes a cyborg and Saburo went into the spirit where the god panda drowned so he becomes half-panda. But, an evil villain named Dr. Dread plans to rule the world using his mystical Kill Ray.

  • Yuki Miyamoto/Sukiyaki Yuki: A Japanese high-school boy who fell into the Spirit of the Drowned Robot, transforming him into a cyborg. He is voiced by Jason Marsden but some episodes feature Carlos Alazraqui replacing him.

  • William Viceroy: The scientist and lackey to Doctor Dread who wishes everyone would appreciate his genius. He is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
  • Toshiro-sensei: The professor and teacher for Murakami High School, the school where Yuki and Saburo attend. He is very strict and always scolds at Yuki and Saburo since they do wrong. He is voiced by Brian Drummond.

  • Usagi: A girl who wears Japanese swirl glasses and plays the flute in the school's marching band. She does not take anything for granted. She is voiced by Cree Summer.

  • Akiko: An attrative girl who is Yuki's crush. She is not so strong but she always adores people who help her. She is very smart as she solved a difficult equation in less than one second. She is voiced by Lara Jill Miller.
  • Jean-Moach: An Indian-Asian exterminator who was hired by Dr. Dread to get rid of all of the blobs, including Nicholas, but luckily Viceroy stopped him before he three Nicholas away. Unfortunatley, he loves signing contracts and speaks in a heavy Indian accent. He is voiced by Jeff Bennett.
  • Nicholas: An amoeba blob who was one of Viceroy's creations that was ordered to be sent away but Nicholas was the last remaining one standing in which Viceroy kept as a pet. But, Jean-Moach tried to take him but was stopped by Viceoy. Nicholas fell into the volcano being fused with a combination DNA of lava, human saliva and onigiri (rice ball). He was later turned to normal by Yuki. His vocal parts are by Dee Bradley Baker.
