The game was delayed a second time and will now be released March 9, 2008. The game is the third in the Super Smash Bros. series, which began on the Nintendo 64 and continued with Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Nintendo GameCube. The series involves Nintendo characters from various franchises fighting on stages inspired by Nintendo games.
