Transcript

  • Michael Angelis: It was a moonlit night and BJ was working with Barney. The big yellow dinosaur was taking some goombas to a station by the lake.
  • Barney: Whenever that owl hoots, a mist rolls in.
  • Michael Angelis: Murmured Barney.
  • Barney: There’s a legend that when the mist's about, there's a ghost about too. Take care on the old line, BJ.
  • BJ: Stupid bird!
  • Michael Angelis: Said BJ.
  • BJ: Owls, mists, ghosts. Barney's going soft in the head. There’s no mist.
  • Michael Angelis: But BJ was wrong.
  • BJ: What's that?
  • Michael Angelis: Cried BJ.
  • Sir Handel: It's an amber light.
  • Michael Angelis: Murmured Sir Handel.
  • Sir Handel: That means, Proceed with caution. Who's there?
  • Michael Angelis: No one replied. BJ crept slowly forward. He stopped by a tree. It had a sign nailed to it: “BEWARE OF THE VIADUCT.”Sir Handel was surprised.
  • Sir Handel: No one warned us about that before, and look -- the light’s red! And the gates are closed. A-a-a-and there’s a fogman’s coat! But where is its owner?
  • Michael Angelis: Then they saw a light moved within a station building.
  • BJ: G-g-g-GHOSTS!
  • Michael Angelis: Exclaimed BJ.
  • BJ: Barney was right!
  • Sir Handel: Something very strange is happening.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Sir Handel.
  • Sir Handel: I think it’s best we go back.
  • BJ: So do I!
  • Michael Angelis: Agreed BJ. By morning, the mists have cleared. A workman was talking about the unsafe viaduct.
  • Workman: Lucky you didn’t cross it last night.
  • Sir Handel: Yes, but we don’t know who warned us.
  • Michael Angelis: Replied Sir Handel. Later that day, he spoke to BJ.
  • Sir Handel: The viaduct has been repaired. We can take our load back along the old line tonight.
  • Michael Angelis: BJ didn’t really want to. But when nightfall came, he was sizzling nicely. Suddenly, an owl hooted, and then Cartman thundered by.
  • Goomba: Oh look--BJ's spooked!
  • Michael Angelis: Said a goomba and the others giggled in their silly way.
  • (Goombas laugh)
  • BJ: Be quiet!
  • Michael Angelis: Snapped BJ.
  • BJ: I’m not scared.
  • Michael Angelis: But he was. A little later, the fog came down. As they approached the same area, they saw the amber light again.
  • Sir Handel: Here we go.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Sir Handel. Then, unbeknownst to BJ, the gates mysteriously closed by themselves. And the signal went red. The goombas have seen all, and they were spooked.
  • Goombas: Faster! Faster! There’s a ghost about.
  • BJ: Stop! Stop!
  • Michael Angelis: Yelled BJ. A mysterious figure watched BJ go by. Ahead was a landslide blocking the road. BJ braked hard, but the goombas hit some of the rubble and plunged over the ravine. Just then, Sir Handel saw a strange sight coming towards them.
  • Sir Handel: What’s that?
  • Michael Angelis: He said. Peter Sam laughed.
  • Peter Sam: That’s our ghost -- it’s Ferdinand the Logging Loco!
  • Michael Angelis: Ferdinand was very cross.
  • Ferdinand: I tried to warn you about the viaduct. Why didn’t you pay attention?
  • Sir Handel: We’re sorry we ignored your warnings.
  • Michael Angelis: Replied Sir Handel.
  • Sir Handel: Is there anything we can do to thank you?
  • Ferdinand: I’d like to operate that old station. If you let me, I promise I won’t spook BJ.
  • Michael Angelis: And in a little while, Ferdinand's wish was granted.
  • Randy Marsh: You and your station will be really useful.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Randy Marsh.
  • Randy Marsh: Let’s hear a hearty thank you to the friendliest, uh, ghost in TV Land.
  • Michael Angelis: Everyone cheered. Especially BJ, who was the happiest of all.
