Looks really good. My suggestions though:

1. First tactical cert should probably include using ECM/ECCM, configuring and firing weapons, targeting subsystems, etc.

2. The command certs reference EC, OP but I can't figure out what those are?

  • I addressed your idea in TC1 and TC2. I hadn't fleshed them out completely but I added a little meat to what I envision. The ECx and OPx are further down the page--it's a loooooong page.  :)

Looks really good - thanks! Betafu 19:14, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

The layout you have is good. One suggestion I may have is to consider both an EMT certification (for just first aid) and a medical cert (for medical crewmen). That way someone can be EMT qualified but not necessarily be a doc/medically qualified. I know on this ship they were talking about trying to train some folks as EMT, for example, but not full medical people. Betafu 19:33, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Yep, yep...there's been a few requests for Medical certifications. I'll throw up some outlines and we can work them from there. In the old days we had FA (for the First Aid skill) and EMT (for the Paramedic skill). I'll review what the @combat system is doing about damage and work from that.

  • Medical Certification outline added--as well as bad, bad jokes to fill out those sections.

Looks good. I'd actually break the medical certifications down into four certifications: First Responder/First Aid, EMT, Nurse/Medical Assistant, Doctor/Surgeon. This way someone can be trained as a first responder but doesn't have to be an EMT-level person. Betafu 14:17, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

  • No can do on 4 levels. That's a hard directive I have from the almighty.  :)
